Environment mapping
Juriga, Jakub ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with various possibilities and methods that are available for studying especially of underwater environment. After comparing of the various methods, it is focused mainly on sonars and echolots from their history through their artition by type / kind of broadcast signal, kind of ray and possibilities of the resulting image display, to the different methods of reading of the image and the ability to analyze it properly. In the next part thesis, the attention is dedicated to the application of these technologies in different detection systems, due to the correct understanding of the detection, the principle of operation of the input signal and the gradual transfer to the resulting image suitable for further processing are described. In the conclusion, the already used distinguishing methods are described and also their potential future use.
Environment mapping
Mohorko, Martin ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the description of possible ways of mapping the unknown environment, which could be in this case both environments - aerial and terrestrial. It is focused on mapping by radars and 3D scanners, through their history, distribution, scanning methods, methods of displaying data or description of output data to their practical application. Furthermore based on selected criteria, methods were compared and it was explained why and which method is preferable than the other one. There is also in this work mention of other methods used for environment mapping of today and their use and potential for several future applications. In the conclusion was outlined the possible use concept on the radar locating system in connection with the 3D scanner.
Desing of method for position detection of autonomous convoy vehicles
Krysl, Jakub ; Mašek, Petr (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with autonomous convoy vehicles control methods. A real 1:10 scale model was choosen as a control and testing platform. As the main computaion unit serves the BeagleBoard xM which runs the used detection method.
Contamination of the environment by crude oil originated fuels, its detection, remediation and prevention
Heclová, Naděžda ; Adamec, Vladimír (referee) ; Čáslavský, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on crude oil-based fuels and water and soil contaminations caused by these substances. Crude oil and the process of producing fuels out of crude oil as well as the fuels themselves (car petrol and diesel oil) are characterized in the work. The thesis also describes the methods used for their detection in the environment, the decontamination processes and the ways of petroleum products leaks prevention.
Modern detection methods of energetic materials
Šesták, Jozef ; Bednařík, Karel (referee) ; Friedl, Zdeněk (advisor)
The review of modern detection methods of explosives was composed. Firstly the thesis deals with the detection methods commonly used in forensics science such as gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, ion mobility spectrometry, Raman spectroscopy and mainly their innovations. Then the thesis is focused on simple but very sensitive methods using fluorescence and chemiluminescence. At the end a methods as the results of a latest research are mentioned. The main of them are micro cantilever sensors and differential reflectometry. Security and counterterrorist warfare is main point of thesis.
Detection methods of energetic materials
Procházka, Michal ; Diviš, Pavel (referee) ; Friedl, Zdeněk (advisor)
A research on current methods of detection of explosives and related materials was made. At first the thesis studies methods of detection and analysis of explosives including chromatographic methods (TLC, GC, HPLC, IC), mass spectrometry and its variations, ion mobility spectrometry and infra-red spectroscopy. Next the attention is placed on detection of explosives in solid phase by X-ray detection, nuclear magnetic and quadrupole resonance and thermal neutron activation. Practical applications of these methods are of great importance in this thesis as well as their usage in the counterterrorist fight.
Simple detection set of industrial toxicants
Lysý, Jakub ; Mika, Otakar Jiří (referee) ; Mašek, Ivan (advisor)
The baccalaureate work is intent on estimation used detection suits and agents with a view to industrial harmful substances. Part of work is also estimation escapes injurants to the environment behind passed 10 years. Exit work should be proposal simple detection changes for choice insider injurants.

Detekcia a korekcia typografických jevov v značkovanom texte
Makeš, Dominik
In this thesis, I am dealing with an design and implementation of finite deterministic automaton. Its role is to process the ConTeXt input file and make a decision about its typography correctness. In next step, it will offer the recommendation how to correct the mistake and will be able to make simple automatic correction. Thesis is also including the comparision with existing programs and the tests on real documents. Thesis is also including theoretical subscription of formal languages and finite automaton.
Metanol v lihovinách a možnosti jeho detekce
Němec, Michal
The Bachelor thesis "The methanol in spirits and possibilities its detection" describes the basis alcohols, their occurence and properties. The detailed description of methanol, its chemical and physical properties, use, manufacture and physiological effects are described. The work was also focused on ethanol, its production, properties, metabolism and its wide range of applications. The work refers to a danger of methanol and ethanol and what they can cause when they are eaten. Part of Bachelor thesis is devoted to the possibilities of methanol detection, where the methods of methanol detection in spirits with a focus on the determination of methanol by gas and liquid chromatography are described and the description of the lesser known methods as well. The work also describes the methods, which are used for detection of the presence of methanol in spirits that exist on the Internet and where their functionality is not proven and these are dangerous due to the possibility of subsequent methanol poisoning. Conclusion of the literary part is dedicated to the legislation about spirit drinks. The new law about mandatory labeling of spirits, which arose in connection with the methanol affair is mentioned as well. The practical part was focused on the applicability of the method for methanol detection in spirits, which is described in the literature. It has ben proven that the certified method is not suitable to detect the presence of methanol in spirits.
