The main focus of this diploma thesis lies on an evaluation of the support of the rural tourism industry provided by ERDF's Regional Operational Programme Central Moravia. The theoretical part explains the concept of tourism, rural tourism, various forms of tourism and the beginnings of rural tourism in the Czech Republic. After defining important basic theoretical terms follow the explanation of regional politics and functioning of support from European funds. The applied part of the diploma thesis contains an analysis of realized projects in the priority axis 3: Tourism in the framework of grants from the ROP Central Moravia. Projects are analyzed according to selected criteria of rural tourism. The last part contains evaluation of the support and the final recommendations for the development of rural tourism.

Rural Tourism Business Plan

The master's thesis deals with drawing up a rural tourism business plan for the establishment of a family business. This business connects providing services within the rural family pension with an agricultural production. The aim of the thesis is to design the business plan on the basis of analysis, plans and risk assessment as decision support tool for future realization.

Agritourism in Novohradské hory mountains and its foothills

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current state of the agritourism in the region of Novohradské mountains and their foothills. Further assessment of the structure of the assumptions for the development of agritourism, the identification of needs and the barriers to business development in selected rural areas. The main attention was paid to the creation of the design section, on the basis of field investigation. Off the investigation took place in the form of questionnaires aimed at entrepreneurs in tourism ventures in the chosen area. The results are specific proposals to improve the prerequisites for agro-tourism and agrotourism farm's own proposal.

Analysis of the implementation of support rural tourism - agritourism in Czech Republic from Rural Development Programme and Regional Operational Programmes

This thesis analyzes implementation of support for rural tourism and agritourism in Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is evaluation of existing financial support of rural tourism and agritourism in LAU 2 units (municipalities) from Rural Development Programme and Regional Operational Programmes. Theoretical part regards rural development in context of Common Agricultural Policy, and tourism, which is one of the factor of development in rural areas. Practical part evaluates subsidies to rural tourism and agritourism and their micro-regional allocation by categories of projects, like accomodation and catering, sport, multifunctional, and other facilities and trails. Primary data are received from the State Agricultural Intervention Fund and internet portal risy.cz. In this thesis descriptive, comparative, analytical and statistical methods are used.

Analysis of horse riding tourism and its infrastructure in the Central Bohemia region

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze equestrian trails of Central Bohemia Region with its whole infrastructure - from riding stables, where is possible to accommodate with the horse, over tethering sites, restaurants adapted to the stay with horses or other places to have a rest, up to direction signs and information boards. The thesis also contains theoretical information about the horse riding tourism like a form of a rural tourism. There are mentioned improvement proposals of equestrian trails and the the bachelor thesis should first of all help persons interested in the horse riding tourism in the Central Bohemia region.

Sustainable forms of tourism and its promotion in the Czech Republic

This Diploma thesis focuses on sustainable forms of tourism. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the support of its development and to assess whether this support is sufficient. The first chapter theoretically defines these forms of tourism and the support of its development mentioned in legislative documents and strategic development plans. The second chapter is devoted to organizational and institutional support. The third chapter concentrates on certifications that lead to increasing market transparency, and ecolabelling, contributing to sustainable development, is also mentioned. The final chapter lists several programmes from which municipalities and entrepreneurs can draw financial means for their development. There are also results of the questionnaire research about supporting the development of sustainable forms of tourism. The respondents were from both the public and private sectors. In the end, there are proposals of appropriate measures to enhance promotion of sustainable tourism.

Rozsah a regionálna diferenciácia agroturizmu na Slovensku

LUŽÁKOVÁ, Lucia. The spread and regional differentiation of agritourism in the Slovak Republic. Brno, 2014. Bachelor thesis. Mendel university in Brno, Faculty of regional development and international studies. The bachelor thesis deals with analysis of spread and regional differentiation of agritourism in the Slovak Republic, consisting of four individual parts. In the first part, definitions and basic concept of rural tourism as well as agritourism are explained. The second part briefly concerns about the history of agritourism within the Slovakian borders and analyses under which conditions the agritourism could be realised and further developed in the certain area. Furthermore, the chapter includes facts about agriculture and rural space in the country. The third part reviews the overall situation of agritourism, its usage and representation in each region in Slovakia on the basis of author's database. In conclusion, in the last fourth part, differentiations between regions and limits of data sources used for the purposed of the bachelor's work are evaluated.

The proposal of tourism development project in Plzeň-město area

This thesis describes the construct a project of tourism development in the district of Pilsen city which is created based on data obtained from a questionnaire survey, survey of area and from contacting local authorities and other organizations. Based on this finding was a created device aimed at agrotourism and cycling associated with the provision of accommodation.

The thesis on the problematic of country tourist industry and its developement, being aplied on specific region - Ivančice microregion. The goal of the thesis is to determine potential of rural tourism developement and also to uncover the obstacles that can limit successful developement of this branch. In the theoretical part the knowledge from literature focusing on problematic of rural tourism is included. The second part includes the characteristics of microregion as well as the evaluation of the contemporary situation in rural tourism business. And in the final part are identified opportunities and obstacles of the possible developement.
