Dynamic analysis of structure loaded seismic loads
Havlíková, Ivana ; Nevařil,, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The purpose of my master’s thesis is the solution steel hall with concrete columns, that is loaded by an earthquake. This simulation program was used RFEM. To calculate was used the spectral and temporal analysis, and that on models of structures with several combinations of materials. The analysis was performed for both the general direction of the earthquake, so for combinations of directions according to standard procedures in EC8.
Static and modal analysis of construction
Krzywoň, Filip ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis compares the behavior of different models of concrete tower structures influenced by earthquake load. There were several models made in Scia Engineer software and also one model for each tower for manual analysis. The results of modal analysis were further used along with Eurocode 8: Design of structures for earthquake resistance. The deformed models were compared with each other.
Seismic analysis of structures with IRS reduction
Svrčina, Vít ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with comparison of the results of the computational models of the structures without use of and using the IRS reduction. The results obtained are compared with the simple whip models of the structures.
Analysis of structures with seismic loads in different program systems
Navrátilová, Martina ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis compares the response of structures with seismic loads in programs AxisVM and RFEM. Simplified method using lateral forces is used for the calculation. The calculations performed by above mentioned programs are also verified by manual calculation in the case of simple examples. Consecutively the displacements of individual nodes of the structure are compared.
Analysis of the Automotive Industry with Specialization in the Japanese Manufacturers
Knápek, Ondřej ; Olšanová, Květa (advisor) ; Kopecký, Jan (referee)
The Japanese economy belongs to the largest economies in the world. Therefore there are many multinational corporations which originally come from this country. This bachelor thesis is focused on evaluating the situation of the Japanese car industry. Another aim is to analyse consequences of the global economic crisis and the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami waves that struck the Japanese shore in 2011. The opening chapter includes the introduction of all important Japanese manufacturers of vehicles.and the importance of car production for the Japanese economy. Other parts should analyse in what condition the Japanese manufacturers are.

Smělá, Veronika ; Knotková, Vladimíra (advisor) ; Druláková, Radka (referee)
This paper focuses on analyzing some of the many factors that determine the position of Japan in international relations. It firstly establishes a base in the current position of Japan analyzed from various points of view to ensure its objectivity. It is necessary not only to look at political issues, but also economic, security or other ones. There are also several levels of analysis used -- first concentrates on international multilateral position, second on position among states and bilateral relations. And last, but not least, takes into account internal conditions of Japan itself. The two determinants analyzed in this paper -- 03/2011 earthquake and fiscal situation -- are also examined by multiple approaches. The aim is to analyze and present the impact of these factors on the role of Japan in international relations and the risks and opportunities they bring in context of current position. Resources include analysis of economic data and projections, statements, policies and up-to-date articles concerning this topic.

Japan ranks among the most developed countries in the world, nevertheless it neither can prevent frequent natural disasters nor their consequences. Although the government strives to minimise damage caused, those tragic events influence functioning of the state and its economic performance. Indirect stress measurement by static vertical pendulum
Kalenda, Pavel ; Neumann, L. ; Wandrol, I.
Static pendulums were used for indirect stress measurement in Bohemian Massif. The anomalous tilt and/or noise were recognised before the biggest earthquakes on the Euroasian lithospheric plate. The Kurile EQ (24.11.2008) was predicted a day advance.
