Japonsko patří mezi nejvyspělejší státy světa, a přesto se nedokáže ubránit četným přírodním katastrofám ani jejich následkům. I když se stát snaží minimalizovat škody, stále tyto tragické události ovlivňují chod státu a jeho ekonomickou výkonnost. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, v jaké míře ovlivňují přírodní katastrofy tuto zemi a analyzovat dopady, které mohou na ekonomiku mít. První kapitola obsahuje obecnou část, která uvádí čtenáře do problematiky přírodních katastrof. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na Japonsko, konkrétně jsou zde popsány geografické podmínky státu, varovné systémy, které Japonsko využívá či porovnání dvou klíčových zemětřesení Kobe a Tohoku. Japan ranks among the most developed countries in the world, nevertheless it neither can prevent frequent natural disasters nor their consequences. Although the government strives to minimise damage caused, those tragic events influence functioning of the state and its economic performance. The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to find out, to what extent the natural disasters influence Japan and analyse the impacts, which they could have on the economy. The first Chapter encompasses general information, which shows the basics of natural disasters. The second Chapter focuses on Japan, in particular on geographic conditions of the country, alert systems and deals also with comparison of two major earthquakes Kobe and Tohoku.
