Business processes reengineering in an integrated information system and the e-commerce application

Master thesis called "Business processes reengineering in an integrated information system and the e-commerce application" proves the hypothesis that the key to successful internet business is to have correctly set the process management of a company, which, through an automated connection, displayed externally for customers through the presentation layer of the e-commerce application. The results are useful for owners of eshops, for their conception of setting up the operations of their companies and especially for the company, where the analysis was performed. According to selected company Penny Ltd., this analysis sets for its eshop Elektro-partner.cz twenty elementary processes, whose implementation will lead to saving staff time, maximum use of the information system including the possibility of implementing new modules, setting up workflow processes and possibility to make a profit and higher customer satisfaction. In the theoretical part are marketing tools 4P for eshops enhanced by services and competitiors. There is also a specially adapted Porter's value chain for eshops and is used a model of e-commerce trust. On this basis it is created the current marketing strategy of eshop including the SWOT analysis and definition of strategic objectives. Identified processes were divided into elementary, key and support groups and relationships between them were made. For the optimization process is used Hammer and Champy methodology and feasibility and success of the thesis is evaluated according to best practises reengineering projects. Reengineered processes are defined with specification, exploited documents, information system and eshop application modules, illustrated by using EPC model and they are defined metrics and specifically listed areas of improvement.

The importance of information still grows at the present time of information age. Besides, the internet is bottomless source of information and also infinite communication channel it is powerful tool to make a profit too. Many people appreciate its potential and many of them even established a business on internet or expanded their services to this dimension. The result was rapid growth of competition in e-commerce area. Companies try to catch their customers all possible ways. That's why there is tendency in webdesign focusing on user's needs and comfort. This work deals one of the main parts of webdesign. Namely layout and component position on the website. Work contains theoretical part -- characteristic of layout and practical part -- analyses layout of e-shops in Czech Republic.
Audit of internet shop websites

This bachelor work describes basic guidelines and rules, which should be followed by every successful internet shop. The aim of the work is to gather and record all the important criteria. According to the criteria is analysed specific internet shop and it's competitors on the market. The data are analyzed and according to that the appropriate conclusions are drawn. This work also describes important methods of advertising web pages and basics of web analytics for internet shops. The final part of the work is dedicated to suggestions on internet shop enhancement. These should bring new customers hand in hand with increasing shop's profit.

Bachelor thesis of theme "Business plan" describes single steps need to be done before opening the company. The aim of this thesis is to create business plan of shop with oriental delicatessen and to evaluate if the plan is realistic and competitive. Bachelor thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The main terms, related to enterprise and legal aspects to which entrepreneur should pay attention are described in the theoretical part. Business plan of shop with oriental food is created in the practical part. It includes the description of products, the analysis of the company's environment, the marketing plan and the financial plan with prospects for the first 5 years of entrepreneurship. This business plan may be used as a fundamental document for leading the business and also may be tabled to financial institutions as a requisition for money subvention.

This diploma thesis examines the current communication strategy in a company which is doing an on-line business. It lists recommendations, how this strategy should be changed. It shows communication strategy, communication mix, Internet marketing and on-line business in the theoretical part. In the practical part is a description of communication strategy on a specific company CuteShop s.r.o. Survey was carried out in the practical part to examine the customers opinions about the used communications strategy. At the end of this diploma thesis are all the recommendations, how should the company make the communication strategy better to attract more costumers.

Opensource solution of content management system and internet shop

This bachelor thesis describes one of possible solutions how create web pages and internet shop by opensource software, especially web content managment system Wordpress. First part of thesis is about Wordpress and containts database and features description of Wordpress version 2.7 At the end is mentioned the procedure of instalation and general recommended settings. Second part is engaged in online shopping plugins for this system. The three most frequently used plugins - WP ShoppingCart, WP YAK a Wordpress eShop are described with a view how they can support general functions of internet shop and how they are able to localize to czech enviroment. The multicriterial choose among plugins was made with a view to these features.
Use of Business Intelligence with web analysis of an electronic store

In the time of recent economic crisis is more than ever difficult to keep old and find new customers. Along with the growth of sales on the Internet there are also a growing number of competitors, which want their share of the market pie. The aim of this thesis is to use technologies and processes of Business Intelligence with web analysis of an electronic store in order to get new information and knowledge that should later on help with overcoming the two mentioned problems most companies running an internet business are today dealing with. In the first, theoretical part of this thesis there are described basic principles and processes of search engine optimization in term of both users and search engines. Next chapter follows the theory of web analysis. There are also described general as well as own selection criteria of the web analysis tool. Upon these criteria there are these tools described and evaluated. Last theoretical chapter deals with Business Intelligence, in particular with a data warehouse theory and with a process of a BI project. Introduction to the practical part is formed by a description of a current e-shop situation. In this part there is also mentioned current architecture solution, standing of the firm and its future vision. On the basis of selected web analysis tool and theoretical knowledge described in previous chapters there is than designed concrete solution and described process of its implementation, some of its outputs and also its costs. The main contribution of this thesis I see in gaining new and otherwise hardly accessible reports about the visit rate, which should ease and improve the process of website optimization and therefore help the company to strengthen its market position. Another contribution would be in demonstration of the BI implementation on a small business scale also with its cost accounting.

Práce obsahuje srovnání webových prezentací nespecializovaných internetových obchodů a srovnání různých možností nákupu podle času a ceny.
