Novostavba hasičské zbrojnice v systému dřevostavby

The thesis is focused on the elaboration of project documentation for the new construction of the fire station type JPO I – C1 in wooden construction system. Its situated on the site of original fire station, which i stoo old for serving and does not meet current requirements. The station is located on plot no. 815 in Hylváty. The building is a detached building with a garage space and office space with three storey. The main suporting system is solved by a wooden skeleton and space of the stairway is made from concrete core. Every walls and storeys are made by CLT panell. The roof is formed as a single-layer flat with a gradient made by mineral layer. The building konsists of two parts. One parts consists of the administrative section, there are facilities for serving firefighters, its on 1st and 2nd floor. The last floor in this section is designed for daily fire servants. The floor of admistrating part is situated higher than the second part of building. The second part of building is the garage and technical section. Project dotumentation is carried out in accordance with laws, decrees, regulation and technical standards that are valid in the Czech Republic.

Mountain hotel in Králíky

The subject of this thesis was a structural design of a timber structure of a mountain hotel in Králíky. The object was a three storey building in a shape of letter U. The project was made in two different variations. The first one consisted of timber frame system with walls securing spacial stability. Computational model was created as a spacial bar 3D model in SCIA Engineer 19.1. The internal forces were calculated using the linear static analysis. The loadbearing structure was designed according to ultimate and serviceability limit states in SCIA Engineer 19.1. The thesis includes joints and anchorage design according to valid standards. Glue laminated timber was chosen as a material for the loadbearing structure while solid timber was chosen for wall structures. The second variation was made out of cross laminated panels. Wall panels were calculated by hand calculation whereas floor and roof panels were calculated using Agrop Nova Element software. Spatial model was made in SCIA Engineer 19.1 software to design joints and for global deformation check as well. The thesis includes engineering report, structural design report as well as drawings.

Kopřivnice - Housing along Kopřivnička

The diploma thesis deals with an urban study and the design of a new residential structure in Kopřivnice. The city has not solved housing construction for the last 30 years, therefore it lacks housing development subject to current trends. The aim and motivation of the design was to create a new location that will be attractive not only for its residents but also for the surrounding area. A location that will offer housing, leisure activities and people.

Numerická simulace pohybu teplotního pole v CLT panelu

Thesis examines the thermal properties of cross laminated timber (CLT). Experi-mental measurement was carried out in heat flow meter. There were measured samples of spruce CLT with dimensions 600 x 600 mm of various thicknesses and number of board layers. The properties were also measured within two different humidity states. The results, especially of the thermal conductivity, are compared and the influence of factors on thermal properties of CLT is researched. There are also numerical models, created in ANSYS software, on which were simulated conditions in heat flow meter and real conditions. The thermal flux through panel cross section was analyzed.

Novostavba administrativní budovy v systému dřevostavby

The final thesis deals with the topic of fire safety of buildings in the Czech Republic in the theoretical part, and later in the practical part presents the project of a wooden-structure administrative building placed within a specific plot in the city of Brno. The project documentation used, regarding its content and implementation, accords with the project documentation related to the construction process set out in the decree 499/2006 Sb, as amended. The theoretical part only relates to selected criteria of fire safety of buildings connected to wooden-structure buildings projects in the Czech Republic and points out a potential normative limitation of the construction of these buildings, especially with regard to the criterion of fire protection height. The thesis also outlines the conditions of typically high-rise wooden buildings construction abroad where the storey number limitation differs significantly from the one in the Czech Republic. Methodologically, the thesis focuses on the method of partial calculations leading to the preparation of a fire safety construction plan. The required principles and methods of calculations are usually the subject of the often-referenced norm ČSN 73 0802 PBS – Non-production premises. The result of the thesis is a comprehensive take on the individual project of an administrative building designated to host a design company. The result consists in gradual satisfaction of all legislative and normative requirements related to the designing of this building type. The thesis’ content points out the interconnectedness of the fire safety topic with the design of the construction and inner organisation, and plot-placing of the building.

Novostavba sídla firmy

This thesis titled New-build Firm Property is going to deal with the building proposal of the administrative building – i.e. firm property - and its detailed construction documentation. The building is going to be a wooden structure, located on a specific site with its foundation already being dealt with. Theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the selected construction method, its features, and the construction process. The administrative building itself will include two possible layout variations which will be compared against each other. The most suitable variation is going to be selected and developed further in the drawing part of the thesis. Drawing part is divided into a written part - accompanying report and technical summary report – and drawing part, including the following: coordination state consisting of foundation construction, foundation ground plan, floor ground plan, sectional view, angles, documented construction of all sections, documentation of materials used, and five details concerning subsequent design solutions. The conclusion of the thesis aims at the summary of the topic discussed, its evaluation, and works cited.

Chalet under Poľana

The aim of my diploma thesis is to design the object of a chalet, which is intended for recreation, boarding and accommodation. The accommodation is designed for 16 people in the form of tourist accommodation. The land, on which the proposed building is located, is on a slight slope, in an uninterrupted area in the protected landscape area of Poľana. Access to the land is secured by asphalt road from the northeast side of the land. It is also accessible by a tourist route from the southeastern side. The affected area is located approximately 10 km from the nearest village Hriňová. In the past, the site was often used for recreation. At a distance of 1 kilometer is the old mountain hotel Poľana, which is out of operation, but provides only temporary accommodation. The new chalet should return tourism to this area and increase the interest of tourists. The underground floor has a separate service for servicing and borrowing sports equipment. The building has one underground floor partially embedded in the terrain, from the south side accessible for the public. Two above-ground floors are made up of CLT panels, the first serving for a restaurant and a private dwelling unit, the second one for accommodation. The underground floor is designed with concrete filling blocks. The roof is a saddle, made of wooden collar construction. On the south side of the building is a large dormer.

Evaluation of load-deformation characteristics of glued timber using DIC analysis

The work deals with issues of evaluation of the shear properties of timber structural materials, particularly CLT elements. The work contains an overview of extensive research so far presented scientific studies dealing with the characteristic shear properties of wood. In the practical part was carried out the experiment dealing with the failure mode of transverse lamellae of CLT elements that were exposed to shear stress. There were observed individual effects that this may affect the material properties. In the first part of the experiment were performed numerical models using FEM. In the second part, the test specimens were tested in three point bending. Here, attention was paid to the influence of macroscopic properties of wood on the distribution of stress cracks and shear strength, the tests were recorded using DIC system.

Manufacturing of Ladies Dresses

The project is dedicated to an industrial hall designated for manufacturing of ladies clothing for a brand Manifesto. The building is located in one of brownfields in Brno, which offers breathtaking city views. This building lies beside the main road Rokytova where a bus stop is situated and is separated from this busy street by trees. The aim is to place the hall on the brownfield estate in a suitable way and this purpose can be fullfilled by using a wooden fasade. Warehouse and production are situated on the second floor. Offices, a canteen, a buffet, a cloakroom, a showroom, etc can be found in the basement.
