The Foreign Activities of the European Union

The bachelor's thesis entitled "Foreign Activities of the European Union" deals with processes and internal affairs and their subsequent impact on setting priorities in concluding bilateral and multilateral agreements on the international level. The work defines the integration development, starting with the Coal and Steel Treaty, the Treaties of Rome, the Schengen Agreement, the Single European Act, the creation of the European Union, the Maastricht Treaty, the Treaty of Amsterdam and the Reform Treaty of Lisbon. The thesis defines necessary key institutions of the Union and determines the coordinated activities that independent institutions have towards non-member countries or international organizations, or fundamentally participate in the future direction of the European Union's international activities. The bachelor's thesis presents the procedures of foreign trade negotiations, then the development and activities of the Common Foreign and Defence Policy of the European Union and the European External Action Service and the publication of foreign instruments of the EU. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to find out and determine which politics and internal affairs of third countries are primarily influenced by the foreign activities of the European Union. On the basis of bilateral and multilateral agreements concluded between or among the European Union and other states or international groupings, the work defines examples in practice where changes in internal affairs are visible in certain areas, such as changes in the legislative framework, which were the result of the subject enforced by European Union. The bachelor thesis specifically assesses taxes, transport, energy, economic affairs, humanitarian aid and civil protection, human rights, regional affairs, justice and home affairs, space affairs, education and culture, employment and social affairs, environment and climate change, and lastly agriculture and food safety. The influence of the European Union on individual sub-activities of non-member states is defined into three groups. Most affected, average affected and least affected.
Bullying and its impact on adolescent functioning

The work deals with bullying, especially in the school environment, and its impact on the social functioning of adolescents. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of bullying, its types and actors. Subsequently, to the period of adolescence, the development of identity and changes that accompany a person during adolescence, then to mental states related to bullying, such as depression and anxiety, and last but not least to the prevention, treatment and consequences of bullying. The practical part consists of a transcript of three interviews with respondents, who went through bullying during adolescence, especially in the school environment.. Interviews were conducted with respondents who attended different schools and had different financial and family backgrounds. Each respondent dealt with bullying differently. The only thing that unites them was the bullying.
Influence of grandparents on the education of preschool children

The goal of the bachelor thesis is to find out how upbringing by grandparents affects children in preschool age, both from the in perspective and the parents perspective. The theoretical section will deal with the topic of upbringing and influence of grandparents on the upbringing. Historical development of family will be mentioned. The practical section will present the results of aninvestigation by theme and of questionnaires and interviews. The respondents and communication partners will be both grandparents and parents of preschool children.
Consumer behavior of generation Y in the banking market

This diploma thesis deals with the Generation Y consumer behavior in the banking industry. The aim of this thesis is to find out the key factors influencing consumer decision-making during selection banks by analyzing their decision-making process and prepare recommendations for banks operating in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on consumer behavior, factors influencing this behavior, broader generational classification and more detailed characteristics of Generation Y. The practical part contains the evaluation results of the quantitative research and recommendations for banks operating in the Czech Republic. The proposals relate to reducing bank charges, improving interpersonal communication and investing in artificial intelligence.
Learning German After English in the Field of Syntax

The diploma thesis deals with the teaching of German as a foreign language after English in the field of sentence structure. The theoretical part is based on the basic literature and it is focused on the presentation of the basics of German and English syntax, considering the differences in both languages. The empirical part covers an analysis of German language textbooks at the A1 level, which focuses on the presentation of syntactic phenomena in which students often make mistakes due to the differences between these two languages. Subsequently, based on the research, the basic syntactic errors are determined and possible solutions and exercises for working with these syntactic phenomena are proposed. The aim of the thesis is to carry out the analysis of textbooks, own research and suggest solutions in teaching German as a foreign language after English in the field of syntax.
Turkey's Influence in Kosovo and Albania since 2006

Kosovo and Albania have developed relations with Turkey for many centuries, due to a shared history. These relations took another dimension in the 21st century with the entrance of President Erdogan into the political scene of Turkey. Personal relations were developing between the leader of Turkey with leaders in Kosovo and Albania. Moreover, in the field of economy, they have reached many agreements that impact the markets of Turkey, Albania and Kosovo. The shared past concluded to major similarities in culture between the countries. Due to Muslim societies, Turkey has also been utilizing religion as a tool to project soft power in Albania and Kosovo. In this study we take a closer look at Turkish influence in Albania and Kosovo in the political, economic, and cultural spheres. The study was conducted on a mixed methodology where ten semi-structured interviews with experts, professors and politicians were developed (five per each country) and a survey to include citizens' perceptions on the topic (867 persons responded to the survey, around 51% of respondents from Kosovo and 49% from Albania). Stereotypes that Czech influencers support with their posts on the Instagram

The diploma thesis aims to find out whether the selected Czech woman influencers on the selected social network, Instagram, support by posts traditional stereotypes or not. The work is divided into two main blocks - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of new media and the phenomenon of social networks. In the next chapters, thesis does not forget to define Instagram, which is the subject of subsequent analysis. The theoretical part includes characteristics of Instagram related terms. The diploma thesis focuses on the sociological problem of gender stereotypes and presents several cases from the history of the media, which support stereotypes between men and women. The practical part first is focused on the quantitative content analysis. The next step is focused on qualitative analysis of the posts of some of the most follow Czech influencers.
Parkour and its influence on the personality of parkourists

Title: Parkour and its influence on the personality of the traceur Objectives: Find out in what way and in which aspects parkour influences the personality of its users. Methods: In this thesis, a mixed research method was used, namely the case study method, which is able to affect the object under study in its depth. The main research material chosen was a non-standardized structured interview consisting of 40 questions asking about general characteristics, experiences, opinions, attitudes, experienced feelings and manners along with aspects affecting the personality of the individuals. A standardized EOD-A questionnaire examining personality characteristics was chosen as supplementary material to enhance the research. The research sample consists of 6 respondents, each of whom is involved in a slightly different industry. Results: All respondents were successfully tested on how and in which aspects parkour influences their personality. The main cause that confirms that parkour is able to modify and shape the personality of individuals was tested by the length of time the interviewed individuals have been practicing parkour. Influence of Computer Games on Aggressive Behaviour of the Pupils of the Older School Age

The diploma work focuses on a topic which is often discussed in the Czech Republic as well as worldwide. The topic in question is the influence of computer games with elements of aggression and violence on aggressive behaviour of teenagers. The work consists of two parts - a theoretical and an empirical one. The theoretical part has four chapters dealing with theoretical knowledge on the subject. In the empirical part the qualitative research strategy was used - questionnaire method and semi structured interview. The research sample consisted of five pupils from the 9th grade of an elementary school. The main aim of the diploma work will be to establish the subjective perception of the influence of computer games with elements of aggression and violence on aggressive behaviour of pupils of older school age. The secondary aim will be establishing the attitudes of the pupils of older school age to violent and aggressive scenes in computer games and mapping the intrusion of computer games into everyday life of pupils from the point of view of computer games preferences and the time they spend playing computer games during the day.
