Experimental analysis of torsion vibration of hard rubbers underlarge deformations
Šulc, Petr ; Pešek, Luděk ; Bula, Vítězslav ; Cibulka, Jan ; Košina, Jan
The paper deals with a new approach of hard rubber dynamic testing under large deformations. The experimental test rig based on controlled servo-motor was proposed and built for torsion straining of the rubbers under defined amplitudes and frequencies of angle vibration. The paper brings results of the first tests. For phenomenological description of the rubber behaviour the mathematical rheological model of rubber was created and its parameters were identified from fitting of analytical to experimental hysteresis curves.
Common topics of Science and Theology in high school education
ČANDOVÁ, Jana
In the introduction this thesis classifies different conceptions of the relationship between science and faith. Then, it focuses on common topics of natural science and theology in secondary education. It summarises and reflects the experience of teaching practice and deals with the practical options for Christian issues which the students are usually interested in. The topics are presented in relation to a specific high school curricula and sorted into three parts: Death and dysthanasia, Time and rheology, Deus vere ludens et homo ludens. Some practical examples and recommendation for teaching practice are also mentioned.
Mechanical Methods for Analyzing Nonlinear Parameters in the Skin
Tonnelier, E. ; Převorovský, Zdeněk ; Dos Santos, S.
The objective is to identify and evaluate the non-linear mechanical parameters of the human skin under loading measured by two different techniques. The first technique is based on ultrasound, and the second consists in analyzing the stress and displacement during the skin stretching. A small skin-loading, computer controlled device, equipped with ultrasonic, stress, and displacement transducers is attached to the human forearm by suction cups. Ultrasonic and mechanical parameters, recorded during programmed loading steps are related to the rheological model of the skin.
Rheology of high viscous food substances
Štern, Petr ; Vlasák, Pavel
Rheological properties of high viscous food substances, mainly of animal origin, greatly influenced their preparation, homogenization and processing. By collagen substances were studied the complex of rheological properties by their processing. We have determined, that the viscoelasticity have the bigger influence that dynamic viscosity.
Rheology and texture of sun lotions
Štern, Petr ; Panovská, Z. ; Morávková, Tereza
All analysed sun lotions were stable. Psychorheology was applied as a suitable complex method. Rheological parameters were compared to sensory texture attributes. All relationships were statistically significant (correlation coefficients 0.89 – 0.99). Fast and objective rheological analysis could replace time and money consuming sensory assessment.
Rheology and texture of cosmetic emulsion
Štern, Petr ; Morávková, Tereza ; Panovská, Z. ; Pokorný, J.
By set of 35 cosmetic creams and milks were statistical significant relations between rheological and sensory parameters determined. Psychorheology were thus found for the rapid and cheap prediction of sensory texture and practical properties of cosmetics.
Effect of the Viscometric Sensor’s Material on Apparent Wall Slip
Kantorová, J. ; Večeř, M. ; Wein, Ondřej
This contribution deals with effect of the viscometric sensor’s material on apparent wall slip.
Psychorheology of cosmetics
Štern, Petr ; Panovská, Z. ; Váchová, A. ; Pokorný, J.
Texture belongs to the most important manufacture qualities of dispersive cosmetics. The psychorheology was used for the determination of relationships between results of instrumental and sensory measurement. Eye creams, sun and body lotions, lipsticks and tooth pastes were investigated. By all this cosmetics products the psychorheology was applied as a suitable complex methods. On grounds of rheological measurements can be therefore the sensory texture and acceptability of dispersive cosmetic predicted.
Rheologie vodných nanosuspenzí
Večeř, Marek ; Tihon, Jaroslav ; Pěnkavová, Věra
Recent works have shown that suspensions of highly thermally conducting nanoparticles have great potential as a high-energy carrier for small flow channel systems. Information on the viscosity of nanofluids is needed for successful modeling of such flow systems.
Viskozitní charakteristiky geologických suspenzí
Kulaviak, Lukáš ; Večeř, Marek ; Růžička, Marek ; Drahoš, Jiří ; Hladil, Jindřich
The system under study was real geological suspension – ground sedimentary rocks of different chemical composition (calcite, quartz, etc.) dispersed in water-glycerol solutions. The reference one-phase system was a Newtonian liquid (glycerine with water). It is problematic to measure the rheology of settling suspensions, so some specific tools must be used. We used the rotating vane rheometry, with the immersion viscometer Brookfield and two spindles V-71 and V-72. The basic rheological data of solid-liquid system are displayed as flow and effective viscosity curves. The obtained results on rheology were related to the settling behaviour of the geological mixtures, namely to the certain kind of the lateral instability.
