Control system for electrodynamic vibration exciter
Čala, Martin ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
Master's thesis deals with implementation of a control system for an electrodynamic exciter. Patent and literature research with focus on applicable control methods is performed. Then, description of the methods applicable in the system identification, as well as types of the signals used in the vibration testing are discussed. The practical section is dedicated to the analysis of available hardware resources, design, assembly and verification of a control system for an electrodynamic exciter equipped with piezoelectric accelerometer and components of National Instruments.
Few Issues Related to an Electrodynamic Exciter Control
Čala, M.
There are multiple problems to solve when controlling an electromagnetic exciter for vibrations generation. Main challenge is to straighten a frequency response of an exciter which is normally not uniform due to resonances resulting from the mechanical construction of an exciter, specimen to test, or mounting fixture. This paper describes number of aspects to consider, which arose during implementation of the control system for small electrodynamic exciter on the Department of Control and Instrumentation.
Algorithms of Electrical Drives State Estimation
Herman, Ivo ; Vavřín, Petr (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with state estimation methods for AC drives sensorless control and with possibilities of the estimation. Conditions for observability for a synchronous drive were derived, as well as conditions for the moment of inertia and the load torque observability for both drive types - synchronous and asynchronous. The possibilities of the estimation were confirmed by experimental results. The covariance matrices for all filters were found using an EM algorithm. Both drives were also identified. The algoritms used for state estimation are Extended Kalman Filter, Unscented Kalman Filter, Particle Filters and Moving Horizon Estimator.
Digital signal processing in real time
Zamazal, Zdeněk ; Mačák, Jaromír (referee) ; Rášo, Ondřej (advisor)
This work deals with digital signal processing in the field of adaptive filtering. Fundamental basics of adaptive filtering are described and primary aim is to create executable laboratory examples, using adaptive filtering, in LabView programming language. These laboratory examples are intended to be used by students fo studying and during laboratory lessons. Objective is to connect the examples with external devices, such as microphone. A microphone is used as an user's speech input acquiring interface. In the thesis is depicted Wiener's filter and problem of adaptive filtering is discussed. Contemporary adaptive algorithms are described and their applications as well. Most mentioned is the LMS algorithm and it's forms. Laboratory examples use following concepts: Adaptive Echo Cancellation, Active Noise Control and System Identification. Each of these examples is solely executable (need for LabView or Run-time engine), consisting also of theory with diagrams. Examples therefore are usable even without manual.
Impact of the customer satisfaction and other indicators on company`s market share
Dvořáková, Monika ; Sedláček, Jiří (advisor) ; Skala, David (referee)
In the present hypercompetitive market environment of car producers established especially at the developed west european markets is very difficult to gain new customers and increase the market share. The car producing companies have to build and increase customer loyalty to ensure the sustainable growth of market share in the future. One possibility how to improve customer's loyality to brand is to provide the highest standard at both sales and service department and carefully monitor the customer satisfaction. From the satisfaction and performance indicators of the car producing company is possible to construct a mathematical model producing the market share in a given country as an output. Key indikators of customer satisfaction, sales and service and also the macroeconomical data has been used as the inputs for the model. As a target market for my analysis has been chosen Germany. This thesis presents a set of recommendations and proposals, whose implementation should ensure the improvement of the market share of the given brand on german market. The recommendation does not include only the tips for improvement of the key indicators but it also gives the overview of how to make the marketing strategy more efficient using Customer relationship management.
Identification of the aeroelastic profile based on optical measurement
Chládek, Štěpán ; Zolotarev, Igor
Abstract: This paper introduces an identification of an aeroelastic profile as n – degrees of freedom linear system. The common identification is based on the excitation of the system with an impact hammer and the measurement of the response by an acceleration sensor and using the transfer functions the modal properties are evaluated. This approach gives a disadvantage in the sense of influence of the system structural properties. In this paper the identification of the dynamical system is based on the optical measurement of the system response. The great advantages of this approach are both the low influence of the measuring devices to the system properties and the high precision of the measurement. The theory has been verified on the aeroelastic profile NACA 0012 with 2 degrees of freedom and the results are presented.
Toolbox Jobcontrol s GUI
Novák, Miroslav ; Tesař, Ludvík
Jobcontrol is a toolbox merging a user-friendly graphical user interface with a powerful set of utilities for system identification employing Gaussian mixture model. It is implemented as a set of M-scripts and MEX-binary executables for the Matlab computing environment. It suits to the goal of finding a suitable structure for the given data and then it creates the optimal controller by tuning its parameters to fit the user's requirements.
Bayesovství pro válcovací stolice: od odhadu parametrů k podpoře rozhodování
Ettler, P. ; Kárný, Miroslav ; Guy, Tatiana Valentine
The paper shares experience gained in application of dynamic Bayesian approach to control problems in the field of metal rolling. The contribution introduces basic notions of theory applied and provides the algorithmic as well as application-oriented solutions developed. Specifically, the consistent use of the approach resulted in an advanced decision support system for operators of a reversing cold rolling mill.
