Possibilities of financing flood protection measures
Švábová, Lucie ; Kolářová, Ludmila (referee) ; Vaňková, Lucie (advisor)
The main theme of this work is the financing of public orders. The theoretical part deals with investments, public orders, flood protection measures and national subsidies from the Ministry of Agriculture. In the second part of the bachelor thesis there is analysis of specific flood protection measure on the Hodonínka river. This section discusses the funding option that has actually been used and deals with other possible alternatives to financing this public order.
Study of possibilities protection against rural zone water
Burešová, Erika ; Roubcová, Radka (referee) ; Milerski, Rudolf (advisor)
This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part of thesis deals with the problems of surface runoff, determination of surface runoff and measures to eliminate consequences of surface runoff. There is also mention of water erosion which is an accompanying phenomenon of surface runoff. The second section paper examines the threat to area in the Napajedla city of water. There are two possible solutions to the protection of the territory. For the valuation is used directive to calculate to the drain age of VMP and software HEC-RAS 4.1.0 for assassment the capacity of water equipment.
The use watercourses and waterbodies within an urbanised countryside area
Šímová, Jana ; Kročová,, Šárka (referee) ; Polešáková, Marie (referee) ; Urbášková, Hana (referee) ; Kopáčik, Gabriel (advisor)
Water is an integral part of our life and waterways and areas were and still are an essential part of the public space of our cities and municipalities. We can find public space in every seat and we meet with the water on many of them. The water in public spaces appears in a different form. Whether these are minor elements, such as fountains, drinking water features, or larger water flows and water area. The water in the public space has its indispensable role. It is well known that its presence has a great impact on the well-being of man. Despite the fact that water is really important in the Interior of human settlements, over the years, water has disappeared on many places from public spaces, due to the technical development and development of settlements. The development of human settlements and public spaces takes place constantly from the time they were established. In recent years, the viewpoint of their importance is significantly changing and lot of the seats are aware of their value. The public space is like a living room of the city, thus a representative place. That´s why, the reconstructions of public space are quite often in recent years with use of water elements. The phenomenon of water surfaces is a factor which affecting the sustainable development and quality of life. Public space is not only an important functional element in the big cities. It has a great importance for smaller municipalities too. And just on them the thesis is focused. Their public space is often neglected. As well as water features in the surrounding area, which are uncared-for or extinct. Water in the form of water courses or water bodies have a great potential, in which a lot of possibilities is hidden, with which you can work in the urbanized areas. The goal of this thesis is to find a new role for the watercourses and water areas to be integrated into public space and public space, thanks to this, become a representative and functional part of the village once again.
Remediation measures proposal for treatment of runoff in Letovic
Brázdová, Veronika ; Uhmannová, Hana (referee) ; Julínek, Tomáš (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with design of a flood protection a controlling structures with respect to problém of inner waters in the area of interest. The river reaches assessed are located mostly in the urban area of the city Letovice, more precisely from the junction of the Svitava and Křetínka river. The reaches are at kilometer 59,608 – 61,520 of the Svitava and kilometer 0-1,752 of the Křetínka river including the race between them. Program MIKE 11 (developed by Danish hydraulic institut) was used to calculate the water levels as nonuniform flow.
Feasibility study of the flood protection measures in the localities of Pisárky and Staré Brno at the Svratka rive
Charvát, Jan ; Pavlíček, Michal (referee) ; Dráb, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the assessment of the current state of flood protection in Brno, Pisárky and the Staré Brno district on the Svratka river at km 37.053 to 41.116 and the subsequent design and assessment of flood protection measures. Hydraulic calculations were carried out using the coupled 1D / 2D numerical model of water flow to pass peak flows Q1, Q5, Q20, Q100 a Q100 unaffected. The results are processed in the form of inundation maps and drawing documentation.
Feasibility study of the flood protection measures in the locality of Žabovřesky at the Svratka river at km 42,000 – 45,000
Libosvár, Marek ; Roth, Tomáš (referee) ; Dráb, Aleš (advisor)
Diploma Thesis deals with the studies of flood protection measures in locality of Brno - Žabovřesky. The work is mainly focused on the calculation of flood flows (Q1, Q5, Q20, Q100 a Q100 neovlivněný) in the area of interest and to proposal flood control measures. Simulation calculations are performed using a coupled 1D / 2D model of the flow of surface water in the bed of the river and its flood area. The results of hydraulic calculations were within the framework the work processed in the form of maps depths, velocity and inundation. Curves levels were indicated in the longitudinal profiles of watercourses.
Feasibility study of the flood protection measures in the locality of Maloměřice at the Svitava river at km 8,085 – 10,950
Kavalírová, Anna ; Golík,, Pavel (referee) ; Dráb, Aleš (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with exploring present conditions in Maloměřice-Brno during floods which is followed by design of antiflood protective structures. Research uses coupled 1D/2D numerical model for flood discharges Q1, Q5, Q20 and Q100 computing. In the last step maps of hazard and draw documentation were made.
Feasibility study of the flood protection measures
Kacálek, Tomáš ; Štěpánek, Jiří (referee) ; Dráb, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with assessment of flood protection measures in Břeclav. Hydraulic calculations of proposal flood events were carried out using 2D numerical model of water flow. Several simulations took account of construction phases and different values of proposal discharge. The hydraulic calculations were computed for river Thaya including its relief branch. The results were processed in the form of inundation maps, depth maps and they were recorded in longitudinal profiles of rivers.
Multicriteria flood analysis
Marková, Ivana ; Vachovec, Roman (referee) ; Duchan, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with the processing map multicriteria decision risk analysis on the basis of on available data in accordance with Directive 2007/60/ES and the methodology of the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic in 2012 on the selected location in the river Dřevnice at kilometer 2,340 to 16,633.
Evaluation of flood protection measures effectiveness in the locality of Břeclav
Kozubík, Jiří ; Chlubna, Libor (referee) ; Dráb, Aleš (advisor)
Master´s thesis deals with the evaluation of the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed flood protection measures in the affected area between the low Nové Mlýny reservoir and Pohansko weir at the Dyje river. The evaluation was done using the multicriteria decision analysis. The analysis was based on hydraulic calculations using 2D hydrodynamic model.
