Analysis of methods financing and investment calculation
SPOUSTA, Petr
Work had the aim to find an acceptable investment for the company. On the basis of the methods of evaluation investment, mostly by the help of net present value and like a supplementary indicator of internal rate of return. After choosing the investment, analysis of effectiveness source funding was made, determined possible sources and consequently was selected the most effective source. The best solution is investment Catepillar 301.8D which was funded by the loan.
EFFECTIVENESS EVALUATION OF INVESTMENTS

The point of this work is to describe a process of investment decision and capital budgeting in practical way. A calculation of capital expenditures and mainly a prediction of financial incomes is considered as the most important phase of whole process. The calculated figures of capital expenditures and financial revenue serve for evaluation of certain investment. There is a lot of methods for evaluation of investments. Net present value, internal rate of return and payback period belong between the most used methods. The choice of way of investment financing is the next very important step. It is necessary to decide, what financial source is the best and optimal for certain company. Recently is possible to use a support from the funds of Europe Union. It is very administravely difficult to obtain a that king of grant, but it´s very lucrative source for companies because it can cover substantial part of whole capital expenditures of investment and moreover it´s non-reversible. Next topic of this bachelors´ work is participation of foreign currency in investment decision and capital budgeting. It´s necessary to consider risks linked with change of exchange rate, if any cash flow is in foreign currency. This bachelor´s work describe main way how to secure against that king of risks.
Valuation of effectiveness of constrution of photovoltaic power plant

The main objective of this thesis is to provide management of specific company with valid information concerning intended investment in construction of a small photovoltaic power plant. Valuation of the investment is done using methods: payback period, discounted payback period, net present value, internal rate of return and profitability index. There is a comlete sensitivity analysis included in the thesis. Besides the valuation itself, the thesis provide also relevant information about the company, legal environment, czech and european renewable energy market and current state of the project.

Purpose of my thesis was globally evaluated investment project of JVP Praha company for expansion of production by reconstruction and addition of new production hall and purchase of new technology for vacuum procesing of plastics. For that purpose is part of the thesis financial analysis of company for last six years, comparing of company with development in this sector and also project risk analysis. Theoretic part is composed of: - Financial analysis of company, - Longterm investment decision making and - Value of company. Practical part is composed of: - Introduction of JVP Praha Company, - Company economic result analysis, - Comparing of company with development in this sector, - Investment project of building reconstruction for production and - Risk analysis. JVP Praha a.s., is the leading processer of plastics. JVP Praha a.s. is a production company focusing on production from plastic materials. Since its foundation, the company has been specialising in production of plastic parts by air-assist forming technology. Due to steadily increasing quality of production, our company obtained certification ISO 9001:2000, granted by the organisation TÜV CERT in 2003. The net present value of the investment is markedly positive and the discounted The Payback Period is very short
Economic efficiency of the realisation of a shopping center construction project

The aim of this final thesis is to evaluate the economic efficiency of the realisation of a shopping center project. We can devide this work into two parts. The first one is concerning the theoretical explanation of an investment project, its financial aspects and the criteria for evaluating its economic efficiency. The second part focuses on the evaluation of the Tilla shopping center project according to the previous theoretical description. This evaluation is made by the net present value, the index of rentanility and the internal rate of return. In addition to the previous criteria there are the financial stability and the economic value added calculated to obtain a global view of this investment project.

This diploma thesis deals with issues surrounding the evaluation of investment project effectiveness. Apart from general characteristics and identification of key terminology in the area of investment decision making and capital planning, which are outlined in the theoretical part of this thesis, the section also provides an overview of methods used to evaluate the effectiveness of the investment decision making process. Particular attention is paid to the issue of criteria selection based on cash flows generated by the investment project. Theoretical findings regarding the evaluation of investment effectiveness are then used in the analytical part of this this by evaluating the effectiveness of a real-life investment project.
Business plan of following development of Golf Hrádek, s.r.o.

The aim of diploma thesis is to evaluate the position of a small company offering services in a golf courses market. Following aims are to show reference both in short run investments and strategic investments. The main tools used in the document are the Porter's five forces, the SWOT analysis, and the analysis of criterions matrix. The output of the diploma statement is that the small company is strongly fixed in the market of golf services. The short term strategic recomendation is to focus on the needs of the target market customers as well as to increase the quality of the services and the golf environment. The main long term strategic recomendation is to rebuilt the old devastated building near by chateau Hrádek u Nechanic into a hotel and restaurant belonging to the golf course. This reconstruction needs to be funded with EU grants at least by 27% of the total cost, therefore by 30.922.000,- CZK.
Creating of PPP in Czech republic

PPP is a generally accepted way of ensuring public services or public infrastructure on the basis of long-term contractual relationship, where public and private sectors share mutual benefits and risks resulting from the effort to secure the public infrastructure or public services . According to the current financial crisis, I think that the issue of PPP projects will be more important not only in the area of the Czech republic, but also in the whole world. The public sector is for the private partner reliable contractual partner. In a situation where is a lack of orders, we can expect that implementation of PPP projects will increase. Any PPP project was successfully completed in the Czech republic, the reason can be insufficient information, political and legislative support.
Exploiting of geothermal energy in ZOO in Ústí nad Labem

This thesis deals with alternative Energy sources. Firstly it describes their general properties, legislative framework and their use in the Czech Republic. In detail it describes use of geothermal energy and its exploitation in a large scale project put into practice in ZOO in Ústí nad Labem. The last part of the thesis focuses on success of the investment in economical terms.

This thesis contains the business plan of the reconstruction of a weekend house to an apartment house. The theoretical part contains the needed resources for the correct design of a business plan, including both its shape and content. Those principles are applied to the project in the practical part. A part of the work is the financial analysis of this investment through the methods of the Net Present Value, the Internal Rate of Return and the Payback Period.
