Futoshiki Puzzle
Benedikti, Tomáš ; Horáček, Petr (referee) ; Zámečníková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis deals with the topic of logical games and puzzles. The main focus is on the Futoshiki puzzle, its history and rules. The algorithms created for the application are covered in depth, from the design to the implementation. The last part contains the creation of the user interface and testing the success of the application.
Kakuro Puzzle
Hodáň, Ján ; Šuška, Boris (referee) ; Zámečníková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis deals with history of logic and logic games. In details deals with rules and options of solving logic game Kakuro. It analyze the problem of implementation of this game to the computer algorithm. In the last chapter is explained how is logic game implemented and tested.
Methods of the Security Protocols Design
Hranáč, Jakub ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
This project describes several methods suggested for security protocol design. The method named ' A Simple Logic for Authentication Protocol Design' is described in more detail and implemented including custom made addition defining the ownership of messages and rights to re-send those messages.
AI Algorithms
Petrželka, Jan ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This master's thesis describes artificial intelligence algorithms based on the book Artificial Inteligence: A Modern Approach by S. Russel and P. Norvig and implementation of the algorithms in the Squeak Smalltalk programming language with object oriented approach. Algorithms are based on pseudocode in the book and existing implementations in Lisp, Python and Java language. Main concepts are intelligent agents, agent simulation environments, state space search, game playing, planning, uncertainty and learning.
Client-Server Relationship in Web Applications
Kučera, Petr ; Petřík, Patrik (referee) ; Šperka, Svatopluk (advisor)
This paper conducts a research in the field of transferring application logic to clients in web applications in order to reduce server load. It examines actions that can be performed on the client side in area of generating HTML code from structured data and data manipulation operations eliminating the need to communicate with server. It describes implementation of a JavaScript framework which turns this knowledge into practical use. It shows its usability on a simple information system. The results of the measurements show that the goal has been achieved and that the framework shows the way in which web applications with a strong emphasis on reducing server load can be made.
Design and realization of teaching instrument
Pučegl, Pavel ; Krček, Petr (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
Gradual wear and growing dissatisfaction with current panels for purposes of teaching the course „Logical control and programmable controllers“ has lead the Institute of Automation and Computer Science at Brno University of Technology to a decision to establish a new educational tool „LOGIK“. The tool is intended to facilitate practical verification of knowledge gained by students during this course. Students will have access to this device and will carry out various practical projects concerning combinational and sequential circuits. The general objective of this thesis is to design and subsequently construct this educational device so that is could be fully utilized during the course in near future.

Collection of problems in algebra and geometry
SIGMUNDOVÁ, Alexandra
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create a collection of solved exercises on topic: "Problematic algebraic and goniometric exercises". This collection is designed for pupils from 5th to 9th class of basic school and should help them to develop their logical thinking using tables, graphs or images. The exercises are divided into three chapters, which are alphabetically sorted into sections.
The Setup Programmable Logical Controller (PLC) and an asynchronous engine
ČERNÝ, David
The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to design a Setup using the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The five essential assignments were prepared using both digital and analog PLC?s inputs and outputs. The purpose of the assignments is to teach and demonstrate the functionality of the PLC Setup.
The elements of logic at basic school
ZEMANOVÁ, Jana
Introduction of diploma work obtains comprehensive inventory of informations from sententional calculus theory, which correspond to problems that are mentioned in examples in diploma work. These teoretical knowledge regarding to needs of work are mainly analysed on secondary mathematics grade, marginally intervene in problems of college logic. Practical part is a task collection for children in infant school and evaluation of their succes in solving examples. I gave chosen examples to children twice. First time at first lesson, where children expresss their opinions to possibilities of problem solution. These opinions weren´t revised. Next time children made the same examples at last lesson after all preparatory exercises. There were seen progress in childrens argumentation close to information about results. Not until this lessons were children acquainted with correct results. In last part of diploma work I mention my experiences and knowlegde about logic for children and some advices for teachers and parents how to work and evolve children´s logic.
