Analysis of Preparation for Principal in Selected Country of OECD

The diploma work is called: "Analysis of preparation for the post of Principal in Selected Country of OECD. It is aimed at preparing the Principal in their profession before taking the office. It describes the different educational systems focused on the training of directors in selected OECD countries - the Czech Republic, USA, Canada, Chile. The aim is to compare the preparation for the profession Principal before taking office in each country, focusing on practice, education, legal grounding.. The theoretical part deals with the historical perspective of the OECD in terms of education, access to education in different historical periods since the inception of the organization. It also deals with the initial preparation of Principals prior to becoming director in terms of personality and school manager. The practical part describes the situation of education with a focus on Principal in selected countries. the conclusion are set out common elements of education directors.

Bank guarantee Even after recodification of the private law in the Czech Republic, the bank guarantee remains an important means of covering risk; mostly due to its universal nature. The aim of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive view on the topic of bank guarantees, especially in light of the new Civil Code. The work will focus on defining the nature of the bank guarantee, as well as the ties between the subjects of the relationship formed within bank guarantees, and its basic principles. I have chosen this subject matter, as the bank guarantee remains pertinent, not only in foreign trade, but also in the Czech Republic, as evidenced by legislation such as the Public Procurement Act, the Act on Public Auction, or in the Customs Law. However, the most important role of bank guarantees remains in international trade, where in addition to market risk and performance risk of the contractual counterparty, a territorial risk prevails. In international trade, usually multiple banks take part in the guarantee relationship. This thesis is divided into eight chapters. RNDr. Martina Bečvářová, Ph.D. Abstract: The PhD thesis presents a comprehensive view of the development and the position of financial mathematics in Czech textbooks and collections particularly those used in high schools with consideration of the political situation in our country. The analysed period from 1908, i.e. from the Marchet's Reform, to the present is divided into five principal stages. In each stage textbooks covering financial mathematics instruction in all types of secondary schools are chosen. This shows the level and extent of the presentation, the complexity of the given tasks and problems and the way in which they are integrated into the textbooks or the syllabus, more precisely. At first the basic general characteristics of the textbooks are presented followed by a detailed description of partial topics of study which are then analysed thoroughly and mutually compared. The conclusions of the PhD thesis reflect the current situation of financial mathematics instruction and offer ways leading to the improvement in the level of financial literacy of our citizens. 1 Abstract Business agency contract This diploma thesis deals with the business agency contract which is governed in sections 652 - 672a of the Commercial Code, Act. No. 513/1991 Coll. as amended. Parties are referred as the principal and the commercial agent here. Pursuant to this contract type the commercial agent, as an independent entrepreneur, binds himself to a long-term negotiation of the sale or the purchase of goods on behalf of the principal, or as a direct representative he is authorized to negotiate and conclude such transactions on behalf of and in the name of principal - such a form of business representation requires a procuration. The provisions governing the business agency contract has been harmonized with Council Directive No. 86/653/EEC of 18 December 1986 on the coordination of the laws of the Member States relating to self-employed commercial agents by the Act No. 370/2000 Coll. Two-bay hall for warehouse and manufacturing purposes with supporting steel structure and thermally insulating sheating with width of 36 metres and lenght of 72 metres. The hall incorporates two overhead cranes with maximum load of 32 and 40 tonnes. The main supporting structure is a system of plate girders and beams. The beams are connected with hinges and are placed with intervals of 6 metres. The hall design is intended for 1st snowing area

The bachelor thesis written on the topic " The role of the bank guarantees in ensuring credit risks " discuss the bank guarantees and their utility in ensuring credit risk in trade operations. In the first chapter thesis discuss the risk in international trade and concentrates on the credit risk. In this chapter the thesis analyses and describes the phases of handling the credit risk. The purpose of the second chapter is characteristic of the bank guarantee, it's law formulation and international arrangement. Diploma thesis deals with the options obtaining of foreign markets, especially by institute of agency. There is also analysis the legislation, both in terms of international, community as well as national law . Great attention is paid to the person of commercial agent, his rights and obligations, as well as the demands on him and his selection criteria. In the conclusion of the thesis are already mentioned cases decided by the Court of Justice of the EU, which relate to issues of agency. The objective of the work is to assess the possible variants acquisition of foreign markets, especially the agency and its comprehensive evaluation including all of its other attributes.
An impact of the agency costs on the performance of mutual funds

An objective of this bachelor thesis is to outline agency costs and analyse their possible impact on the performance of mutual funds in USA using linear regression. Theoretical fundamentals are mentioned in broad and narrow concept at the beginning. Furthermore, the mutual funds are defined. The mutual funds were chosen because they hold huge volume of assets and because the mutual funds remind popular investment.
