Concept of Business Plan – Tourism and Cultural Portal

Business plan is important and undivided part of company management and of business planning. My master’s thesis points on usefulness of business plan as a medium for beginning entrepreneur, with low capital base, which is searching concepts how to push his visions trough in market. The master’s thesis introduces concrete practical example of creation and maintenance of new generation web portal. Description of usage in marketing and business point of view. This plan also contains concepts of company structure and plan of company expansion in three years term. Parts of the document are estimations of portal and company costs and also estimations of revenues. Document is draw up for multiple usage of business plan, not only for business visions presentation, but also as a concept for obtaining of financial resources from investors.

Web Portal for VHDL Core Generator

In this Bachelor thesis, activities which aim at developing web portal for an intuitive access to VHDL core generators are presented. The basic principles of methodology for generating VHDL descriptions of hardware checkers for communication protocols and RTL circuits are demonstrated together with their impact on the fault tolerant architectures. The main goal of this work is to develop user-friendly web environment which would facilitate the use of VHDL core generators. The specification and features of web portal are described together with implementation details and testing of final application. As the results of this thesis, the web portal based on PHP and MySQL database was created.

Web Portal for Network Traffic Reporting

This thesis deals with gathering and analysis of statistic data about network traffic, it also deals with preserving and displaying such a data. The goal of this thesis is simple and quick user interface in web portal. The source of the statistic data is NetFlow technology. We use NfDump tool for reading the gathered data. Implementation is done in PHP, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript. SQLite Database is used for preserving the data.

This master's thesis deals with the development of web portal for the application of fault-tolerant methodologies. It introduces the issue of fault-tolerant systems and analyze system requirements, that have users working in this field. It describes the development cycle from analysis and specification of application system design through to implementation and testing part. More thoroughly it is focusing above design portal that provides a comprehensive and versatile solution to the problem that leads to the final implementation of this portal. This realization is part of the thesis.

Portal for Aggregation of Data from Web Sources

This thesis deals with data extraction and data aggregation from heterogeneous web sources. The goal is to create a platform and a functional web application using appropriate technologies. The main focus of the thesis is on the application design and implementation. The application domain is accommodation or lease of apartments. For the data extraction, we use the portal API or a wrapper. Obtained data is stored in a document database. In this thesis, we managed to design and implement a system that allows to obtain rental ads from multiple web sources at the same time and to present them in a uniform way.

This thesis describes design and implementation of web portal for providing lunch booking for company employees. Portal is intended to lunch provider as a tool for publishing the menu, management of company employees and restaurants. It provides overview of orders and total cost to provider. Employees can online booking lunches and show the history of orders. Portal is implemented using object oriented programming on three-tier architecture using tools like ASP.NET Framework, MS SQL Server and AJAX Control Toolkit.

An Update of European Projects Portal and Its Enhancement by Identification of Results Related to New Call Topics

This bachelor thesis deals with modification of an existing web portal focused on results of European projects. The output of this thesis is a portal working with newer version of the engine Elasticsearch. Compared to the previous solution, this portal allows to search topics of new calls. The theoretical part of the thesis describes practises used in web developement and frameworks used in this thesis and their principles. The practical part specifies the functioning of the whole portal and describes a specific implementation. The result is evaluated at the end of the thesis based on experiments.
