This master´s thesis deals with the valuation of the chosen company OPTICONTROL, s.r.o. by using income-based method. The thesis is divided into three parts, namely the theoretical, analytical and practical . The theoretical part defines basic terms used in the valuation of companies, selected methods and valuation procedures required for application to a chosen company. The analytical part then consists of practical application of theoretical basis. Thus the content of the analytical part is strategic analysis, financial analysis and financial plan . In the last practical part there is valuation of the company itself.

Objectified Valuation of the Business Entity

The aim of this work is to determine the value of the selected business entity. Valuation will be served to the company's management for internal purposes and will be conducted to 12/31 2014. The thesis will be divided into three parts. The first part illustrates the theoretical background needed when examining the issue, primarily methodological approaches of valuation. Second, the analytical part, applies the information processed in the previous section directly to the selected company. Based on the obtained information it will be possible to valuate the company.

Valuation of the Firm by Using Income Capitalization Approach

The diploma thesis is focused on estimation the value of ABC, s. r. o. by using the income capitalization approach as of 1/1/2022. The theoretical part of the work deals with the definition of important concepts, the definition of methods and the entire process of company valuation. The practical part is focused on the company ABC, s. r. o., which is the subject of the valuation. A strategic and financial analysis, a forecast of value generators and a financial plan of the company was carred out. The last part of the diploma thesis determines the resulting estimate of the objectified value of the selected company using the discounted cash flow method.

Creation and application of the system of financial evaluation

The bachelor thesis is devoted to the creation of a system of financial evaluation of companies using data from financial reports. Types of statistical indicators and possible ways of their formal systematization are known, but there is no single evaluation system for each individual business. The purpose of this work is to propose an evaluation system for a particular company Mlékárna Kunín, s.r.o on the basis of financial indicators and the choice of existing evaluation methods. The analysis is based on the analysis of problem areas of the company using classical ratio indicators and prediction models. The company's industry and competitive situation are also taken into account. The conclusion of the analytical part is an assessment of both the results for the further development of the company as well as the functionality of the proposed methodology.

Valuation of the Firm by Using Income Capitalization Approach

This diploma thesis is focused on estimation the value of American company Nucor Corporation by using income capitalization approach, specifically discounted free cash flow method as of 31.12.2021. The thesis estimates the objective value. The theoretical part of this thesis is describing the key terms and analytical methods which are used in the practical part of the thesis. The practical part is focused on description of Nucor Corporation, which is the subject of the valuation and strategic and financial analysis and creation of the company’s financial plan. In the end of the practical part the business valuation itself is performed by using the discounted free cash flow method to estimate intrinsic value of the company’s stock. Final step is comparsion of the intrinsic value and market price of the stock.

Relationships between Corporate Governance and Firm Performance: Effects on Czech Export Oriented and Financial Industries

The thesis describes effects of corporate governance on firm performance and managerial income of firms from sectors important for Czech GDP: financial sector and export-oriented manufacturing industries. Added value of the work comes mostly from the fact that it concerns Czech firms and especially that it studies the two sectors using econometric method as well as it compares them on graphs and tables. There are two main topics for hypotheses testing. Firstly, the thesis investigates effects on firm performance, measured by proxy variable return on equity, by sizes of executive boards and firms. Secondly, the effects of performance as well as companies and boards sizes on managerial income are studied.

The aim of this Master thesis is to determinate the value of the company VISCUMA PLASTIC, a.s. by using yield valuation methods as of 31. 12. 2019. The theoretical part of thesis is focused on getting acquainted with the concepts, procedures and methods used in the valuation of the company. Practical part begins with the introduction of the company. Further processed strategic and financial analysis and created financial plan. Finally, the valuation itself is performed using the yield valuation methods.

This diploma thesis focuses on the evaluation of suitable methodological procedures in business valuation. Firstly, it means comparison of different ways of every author, depending on international and national valuation standards. Second step is practical application of valuation methods. In the result, there are three values and each of them is looking on valuation from different way. That’s one of the most important aspect in this thesis, and main reason, why is thesis focusing on singularity of each method in particular situations. In the final recommendations, this thesis considers, that main problem are valuations standards in Czech Republic. For higher level of business valuation is important complete these standards.

The diploma thesis focuses on the determination of the market value of private medical practice for children and adolescents. The thesis consists of two parts, the theoretical and the practical. The theoretical one is devoted to literature review of business valuation issues and specifics of private medical practice management. A suitable method for its valuation is chosen. In the practical part, according to the proposed methodological procedure, the practice of a general practitioner for children and adolescents for the purpose of its sale and purchase is evaluated. The resulting valuation is carried out using the income and asset-based approach.

Effect of Enlargement of Consolidated Group on its Economy

The master's thesis focuses on the issue of consolidated financial statements and the evaluation of the impact of the widening of the consolidated group on its economic situation. The first part of the thesis includes theoretical knowledge that are crucial for the consolidated financial statement. Afterwards, the current economic situation of the consolidated group is analyzed together with the valuation of the newly acquired business share. Finally, there are a new consolidated financial statements proposed and then the original state is compared with the newly extended consolidated group.
