IMPROVEMENT OF DIGITAL MODEL BY LASER SCANNING METHODS
Tyagur, Nataliya ; Václav, Šafář (referee) ; Hana, Staňková (referee) ; Bartoněk, Dalibor (referee) ; Hanzl, Vlastimil (advisor)
The doctoral thesis deals with mobile laser scanning and data processing. Mobile laser scanning was carried out in the Moravian Karst in Suchy zleb and Pusty zleb at various seasons. Further scanning was carried out at the Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Křtiny. The Riegl VMX-450 scanner was used to collect 3D data. The data files were processed in the OPALS software. For the extraction of ground and non-ground points from the laser cloud, a combination of hierarchical interpolation and robust filtering was used. Subsequently, the terrain points were used to model digital terrain models with grids 0.05 x 0.05 m, 0.25 x 0.25 m, 1 x 1 m. Furthermore, digital models from Moravian Karst were compared with the Digital relief model of the Czech Republic 4G and reference points. Digital models from Masaryk Forest Křtiny were compared with photogrammetric and terrestrial data. The high accuracy of the derived DTMs is about 0.10 m. The high quality of the derived DTM can be used to monitor and analyze field changes and morphological structures.

Building Information Modelling of the Water Utility Objects
Maňas, Jaroslav ; Kubíčková, Miroslava (referee) ; Volařík, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the BIM creating process with the use of laser scanning data in Revit software. It’s focusing mainly on MEP of water object. In the theoretical part of thesis there are outlined basic issues about laser scanning, informational modelling and other relating issues. In the practical part of the thesis is the summarization of procedure starting from data collecting, data processing to the procedure of creating BIM model, it’s visualisation and the use of the model. There are also mentioned useful pieces of knowledge, which I have learned during dealing with the problems related to the application of this new way of using the spatial information.
Evaluation of different surveying methods for determination of true shape of bridge structure surface
Smetana, Jonáš ; Vondrák, Jiří (referee) ; Machotka, Radovan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is comparison different geodetic methods and assessment usage of these methods for the case. These geodetic methods includes trigonometrical height determination, geometric levelling, technology GNSS and laser scanning. The case is measurement on surface monolithic plate of bridge construction.
Possibilities of using UAVs and similar devices in the building industry
Kašiár, Dominik ; Výskala, Miloslav (referee) ; Aigel, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the creation of a 3D model using laser scanning by unmanned aircraft (UAV). In the first part the author describes the history, legislation, the possibility of using unmanned aircraft and their dividing. The next section describes the process of creating a 3D model from data collection, using a drone to the actual modeling in Revit and subsequent use of the 3D model.
Visualization Environment for Robot Remote Control
Blahož, Vladimír ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis presents possibilities of 3D point cloud and true colored digital video fusion that can be used in the process of robot teleoperation. Advantages of a 3D environment visualization combining more than one sensor data, tools to facilitate such data fusion, as well as two alternative practical implementations of combined data visualization are discussed. First proposed alternative estimates view frustum of the robot's camera and maps real colored video to a semi-transparent polygon placed in the view frustum. The second option is a direct coloring of the point cloud data creating a colored point cloud representing color as well as depth information about an environment.
Design of equipment for welding head path correction
Benáček, Filip ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
The work presents the problem of welding of membrane walls intended for application in power boilers. Furthermore, the use of the MIG/MAG method for welding and the advantages of using the CMT method. An innovation has been made for the welding process in the form of laser scanning of the surface and subsequent use of the data to correct the welding head. This led to the automation of the whole process. Because of the necessary testing of the laser scanner function, a test structure was designed and constructed. It was necessary to consider the appropriate wall scanning strategy and subsequent data processing in terms of the overall manufacturing process. The software designed to evaluate the scanned profile placed a point using a suitable tool on the scanned profile. The set of points was further filtered for a smoother resulting path formed by these points. The resulting points were fed to the output signal from the laser device to correct the path of the welding head. Both the welding and the surface scanning will be done simultaneously, so the settings for the laser scanner were created and stored in the internal unit of the device. This allows the laser to operate without connecting to a computer.
Creation of a purpose map of the castle courtyard by the laser scanning method
Kučeravý, Peter ; Kratochvíl, Radim (referee) ; Machotka, Radovan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is dealing with creation of thematical map of castle courtyard of the Veveří castle using the method of laser scanning. The thesis describes the construction of a survey net which is important for measuring control points and then scanning of the area using the scanner FARO Focus 3D. The thesis contains a description of the method of laser scanning and point cloud processing in Trimble RealWorks software. Furthermore, this thesis deals with the accuracy of the point cloud and compares the laser scanning method with the typical tachymetric method according to time duration.
