Cost management of machinery in construction company

This Bachelor work deals with cost management of manufacturing machines which are used in construction companies. This work compares real costs for one machine-hour, which are paid for machine work and theoretical counted costs. These costs contain all possible costs which can inflict change of cost of machine-hour. By comparing of that results is find out, when the machine is busy enough and if this machine makes some kind of profit or if this is totally other way round. For this results is designed work optimisation, which sets up the profit border which should not be exceeded by machines. This is the way how to reduce useless burden and also reach to profit and other prosperity of company.

Overhead Costs in the Contruction Company

This thesis deals with overheads in the construction business. The theoretical part of the work is focused on costs and their types, on cost management in the con-struction business and its overheads. In the practical section, the management of the overhead costs of the surveyed company is analyzed, a different method of calculation is proposed, and a subsequent comparison of the method used by the company and the method proposed. In conclusion, the company's recommenda-tions are for more effective monitoring of overheads.

The bachelor's thesis is focused on an introduction to the issue of costs with the use of theoretical knowledge and cost management in the chosen company MAT-EL. The bachelor's thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is focused on the theoretical knowledge about costs with description of their conception, division, management, break-even point, operating leverage. The second part concerns the introduction of the company and the use of theoretical knowledge to analyse the costs of the MAT-EL company. Furthermore, introduction to basic economic indicators, generic classification of costs, fixed and variable costs, break-even point and indicators of financial analysis that rate the financial situation of the company. The last part of the bachelor's thesis is focused on a discussion and summarization of obtained results and proposed recommendations for a reduction of the costs.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of cost management in XYZ, spol. s.r.o., a company engaged in rubber production, metal fabrication, self-service food sales, bakery and custom sewing. The thesis is divided into three parts: theoretical, analytical and design. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts and data that will be used in the following sections. The analytical part describes in detail the company itself, its financial situation and the costing methods. In the last part, which focuses on suggestions for improving the current situation, a system for cost allocation and subsequent optimization of costing for individual products is proposed based on the analysis.

Determination of operating costs depending on production technology of casting

The diploma thesis compares the costs of potting instrument transformers and sensors using vacuum potting technology and potting technology of automatic pressure gelation. The principles of managerial accounting, which are theoretically summarized, were used for the solution. The analysis of the potting operation of instrument transformers and sensors was carried out in the company ABB s. r. o. The technological processes of potting of transformers and sensors were described in their production, and the reasons for the cost of potting technologies were found. The relationships between higher costs and the amount of instrument transformers and sensors produced by a given potting technology were determined. For the year 2023, the costs of potting technologies were estimated and the hourly technology rate was determined, according to which individual transformers will cover the technology costs for this year. Furthermore, the break-even point of the total technological costs of both potting technologies was calculated. It was found for the current condition that for the number of transformers up to the break-even point is more advisable to use vacuum potting technology, and when exceeding the break-even point quantity, it is more advantageous to choose the technology of automatic pressure gelation. Finally, it was created a tool to select the necessary number of casting molds of the new type of transformer and to choose the potting technology according to the predicted production volume.

The diploma thesis deals with the design of the project of reallocation of production and warehouse premises of AB KOMPONENTY s.r.o. using selected methods and techniques of project management. In the theoretical part, the basic knowledge and methods of project management are described, which are then applied in the analytical chapters, where first an analysis of the current state of the company is carried out and then the project design is constructed, including the management of time, resources, risks and costs in the project. Finally, an economic analysis is performed and the benefits of the project are presented.

The bachelor's thesis is focused on cost management in a construction company. The work is divided into three parts, namely the theoretical, analytical and design part. Accounting is described in the theoretical part, it is also devoted to the analysis of costs and their calculations. In the analytical part, I first described the company, the subject of business, the distribution of costs, the current calculation of indirect costs and the costing system. In the last draft part, I focused on changing the calculation of indirect cost calculations and changing the company's costing system.
