The master‘s thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial performance of the company INTERMEZZI s. r. o. using benchmarking and subsequent proposal of changes. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the clarification of basic concepts that are closely related to the issue. The third part is focused on strategic analysis, and the fourth part deals with the comparison of the company with selected competitors. The final part of the work is focused on recommendations leading to performance improvement of the company.

This master's thesis is focused on the evaluation of the financial performance of a selected company and its competitors by benchmarking from 2014 to 2018. It is divided into a theoretical part, which introduces the concept of performance, selected classical and modern methods of financial performance applied in the practical part. After the evaluation of these applied methods in the last part of the thesis will be proposed measures to improve the current situation.

This diploma thesis focuses on an evaluation of a performance of a chosen company based on benchmarking with competing companies. The thesis is divided into five chapters. In the first part, the issue is analyzed from a theoretical point of view. In the next chapter, the company THK RHYTHM AUTOMOTIVE CZECH a.s. is introduced, and strategic analysis is performed. The fourth chapter deals with the benchmarking and the final evaluation with SWOT analysis. The last part of the thesis deals with proposals and measures to improve the financial and business situation of the company.

The diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of the financial and business performance of the company NOVA Blansko Ltd. by using the benchmarking method. The first part of this work consists of the theoretical basis of the specific issue. The second part focuses on introducing the company and performing a situation analysis. The following part is a key part of this work, it contains the actual implementation of benchmarking of the company with selected competitors. The final part of this work summarizes the main findings obtained from individual analyses and recommendations for improving the company's performance.

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial performance of the company S.A.B. Impex, s.r.o. based on benchmarking in the years 2016 - 2020. The first part of the work introduces the concepts, methods used and financial indicators necessary to perform benchmarking. The next part, which is analytical, contains an analysis of the company's environment and financial benchmarking with four direct competitors. The last part of the work deals with own solutions that help eliminate the identified problems to increase the financial performance of the analyzed company.

The diploma thesis is by its nature focused on evaluation of company performance. Analyzed company SITA CZ, a.s. is one of the market leaders providing services regarding of treatment with non-hazardous and hazardous waste. This company is analyzed in two aspects within diploma thesis. Evaluation focuses on market position and performance within specific economic activities according to NACE rev.2 – 382, at first. Second evaluation is focused on competitive benchmarking that should pin-point particular weaknesses. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to propose solutions to improve company performance and market position.

Tato práce popisuje návrh a tvorbu testovacího prostředí pro měření výkonnosti DNS serverů nad transportními protokoly TCP a UDP. Obsahuje výsledky výkonnostního měření tří různých implementací autoritativních DNS serverů nad síťovým provozem složeným z různých typů DNS dotazů zaslaných pomocí různých síťových a transportních protokolů. Je provedeno srovnání výkonnosti těchto implementací.

Cost Optimization in the Construction Company

This thesis focuses on the explanation and description of selected methods used to optimize the costs involved in the construction industry. The main objective of the work is to directly apply one chosen method at a given construction company and by use of this process recommend changes ultimately leading to cost optimization. Company data, based on defined indices, was compared with the data from public institutions. The merit of the indices were individually evaluated resulting in recommended proposals for future development.

The Use of Benchmarking for an Increase of the Performance of the Company

This thesis deals with using of benchmarking for the selected wine company Baloun. In the fist part there is given theoretical framework of this topic. The practical part contains analysis of the current situation of the Baloun winery and its closest competitior – there are included financial analysis, analysis of marketing mix and SWOT analysis. Based on the analysis there are proposing measures, which will contribute to improving business performance.
