Neural Networks for Autonomous Car Driving
Dopita, Marek ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
In this work, the principles of neural networks are introduced with a focus on autonomous vehicles. Based on this information, a proposal for the implementation of a system is created, which allows to drive a car without a driver. It builds on tools that allow easy creation and testing of autonomous vehicles. It is CARLA simulator and ranking. The proposal divides vehicle routes into three different situations. Each situation requires the use of different sensors, so a specific autonomous agent is created that is able to recognize the situation and switch between different neural network designs. Each such network is specific in its inputs and is taught in a specific situation.Programs are created that are able to easily collect a data set using the CARLA Leaderboard. Then, a way is introduced to how the collected data can be divided into categories so that each category can be used to learn its neural network.
Software Library for Artificial Neural Networks with Acceleration Using GPU
Trnkóci, Andrej ; Samek, Jan (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
Artificial neural networks are demanding to computational power of a computer. Increasing their learning speed could mean new posibilities for research or aplication of the algorithm. And that is a purpose of this thesis. The usage of graphics processing units for neural networks learning is one way how to achieve above mentioned goals. This thesis is offering a survey of theoretical background and consequently implementation of a software library for neural networks learning with a Backpropagation algorithm with a support of acceleration on graphics processing unit.
Coevolution of Cartesian Genetic Algorithms and Neural Networks
Kolář, Adam ; Král, Jiří (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to verify synergy of genetic programming and neural networks. Solution is provided by set of experiments with implemented library built upon benchmark tasks. I've done experiments with directly and also indirectly encoded neural netwrok. I focused on finding robust solutions and the best calculation of configurations, overfitting detection and advanced stimulations of solution with fitness function. Generally better solutions were found using lower values of parameters n_c and n_r. These solutions tended less to be overfitted. I was able to evolve neurocontroller eliminating oscilations in pole balancing problem. In cancer detection problem, precision of provided solution was over 98%, which overcame compared techniques. I succeeded also in designing of maze model, where agent was able to perform multistep tasks.
Classification of Web Forum Entries
Margold, Tomáš ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis is dealing text ranking on the internet background. There are described available methods for classification and splitting of the text reports. The part of this thesis is implementation of Bayes naive algorithm and classifier using neuron nets. Selected methods are compared considering their error rate or other ranking features.
Neural Network Letter Recognition
Kluknavský, František ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Šilhavá, Jana (advisor)
This work uses handwritten character recognition as a model problem for using multilayer perceptron, error backpropagation learning algorithm and finding their optimal parameters, hidden layer size, learning rate and length, ability to handle damaged data. Results were acquired by repeated simulation and testing the neural network using 52,152 English lowercase letters. Best results, smallest network and shortest learning time was at 60 neurons in the hidden layer and learning rate of 0.01. Bigger networks achieved the same ability to recognize unknown patterns and higher robustness at highly damaged data processing.
Classification Mining Modules of Data Mining System on NetBeans Platform
Kuzma, Norbert ; Šuška, Boris (referee) ; Šebek, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the data mining and the creation of data mining unit for data mining system, which is beeing developed at FIT. This is a client application consisting of a kernel and its graphical user interface and independent mining modules. The data mining system is implemented in Java language and its graphical user interface is built on NetBeans platform. The content of this work will be the introduction into the issue of knowledge discovery and then the presentation of neural networks, for which there will subsequently be implemented the stand-alone data mining module. Furthermore, the implementation of this modulewill be described.
Data Classification using Artificial Neural Networks
Gurecká, Hana ; Dvořák, Jiří (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
The thesis deals with neural networks used in data classification. The theoretical part presents the three basic types of neural networks used in data classification. These networks are feedforward neural network with backpropagation algorithm, the Hopfield network with minimization of energy function and the Kohonen’s method of self-organizing maps. In the second part of the thesis these algorithms are programmed and tested in Matlab environment. At the end of each network testing results are discussed.

Using artificial intelligence to monitor the state of the machine
Kubisz, Jan ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
Diploma thesis focus on creation of neural network’s internal structure with goal of creation Artificial Neural Network capable of machine state monitoring and predicting its remaining usefull life. Main goal is creation of algorithm’s and library for design and learning of Artificial Neural Network, and deeper understanding of the problematics in the process, then by utilising existing libraries. Selected method was forward-propagation network with multi-layered perceptron architecture, and backpropagation learning. Achieved results was, that the network was able to determine parts state from vibration measurement and on its basis predict remaining usefull life.
Playing Gomoku with Neural Networks
