Integrace vietnamské menšiny očima české veřejnosti – případová studie Zlínského kraje

The work entitled "Integration of Vietnamese minority through the eyes of the Czech Public – the case study of Zlín Region" will deal with the integration of Vietnamese minority in the Czech Republic with a regional focus on the Zlín Region. The Vietnamese minority is the third largest minority in the Czech Republic and it is important to monitor the view of the Czech population. The theoretical part follow up the discussion of existing literature on the perception of foreigners and it was also examined how Vietnamese are generally percieved by Czech public as a whole. The aim of the thesis is to map the perception of integration of the Vietnamese community by the inhabitants of the Zlín Region. The thesis asks which factors influence our attitudes towards foreigners and aims at socio-demographic factors and their influence on attitude towards Vietnamese: gender, age, education, social status, political orientation, size of place of residence and personal experience. The research itself takes form of a questionnaire (quantitative research), which was distributed to Czech citizens with permanent residence in the Zlín Region. The inhabitants of the Zlin region meet the Vietnamese rather occasionally and have a rather positive view of them thanks to the services they offer and their diligence. It is personal experience, the age and social status of the person that most influ-ences their stance.

Promotion of digital literacy and digital education: the Case Study of Zlín Region

This diploma thesis has a form of a case study focused on the area of digital literacy and digital education in Zlín region. The main goal of this diploma thesis is to map the situation in digital literacy and digital education in Zlín region, pointing out the diversity between other regions where possible. Another goal is to point out the negative impact that low level of this literacy can have on our lives and what factors influence digital literacy the most. In the end I would like to discuss some future views and goals that Zlín region has in this area of education. In the conclusion of this thesis I would like to discuss the problematic parts in digital education if it comes to any and what could be helpful in development of digital literacy and digital education.

Road safety inspection in the Zlin region

The topic of this Diploma's thesis is Road safety inspection in the Zlín region. To start off, I was given 14 dangerous locations in the region of Zlín by the Road Services of Kroměříž; 7 of them at crossroads and 7 outside of crossroads. Then I analysed accident risks and compared the locations among each other according to safety features. Based on the outcome of my analysis, then I chose 2 locations at crossroads and 2 outside of crossroads which I personally visited and conducted analysis on how safe they are. I uncovered potential risks which could lead to traffic accidents and suggested solutions that eliminate or minimise that risk.

Analysis of cultural opportunities in the Zlín region

This thesis is focused on the cultural opportunities in the Zlin Region. The region term is defined and described, as well as its districts at the theoretical part of the thesis. In the next section, the tree ethnographic areas are described as well as its famous cultural events. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, the impacts of cultural festivals are defined including the economic, socio-cultural and environmental impacts. The practical part evaluates to the results of the questionnaire. SWOT analysis is proved according to these findings. Based on the questionnaire, we have found out that the most of the respondents were satisfied with cultural opportunities in their town as well as in the region. According to SWOT analysis, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of cultural opportunities were identified in the Zlin Region.

Conceptual documents in the field of culture and their use in the traditional folk culture of the Zlín Region

The bachelor thesis aims to find contemporary approaches to support and preservation of traditional and folk culture according to the used strategic and conceptual documents. The theoretical part is devoted to the analysis of the Recommendation of the 25th General Conference of UNESCO on the Safeguarding of Traditional Culture and Folklore from 1989 and, in particular, to the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of 2003, which is based on the Recommendation. Based on these, the Strategy of Improved Care for Traditional Folk Culture in the Czech Republic for the period 2016-2020 was created. According to these documents, in the practical part of the thesis, the cultural legislative documents of the Zlín Region will be analyzed (especially the Conception of the Local Culture Development of the Zlín Region and the Concept of the Development of the Zlín Region Organizations in the Field of Culture for the period 2015-2024) with application to the traditional folk culture of this region.

Physical Education and Sport in Uherské Hradiště from its beginning till present

The thesis is focused on mapping of sport activities and physical education in Uherské Hradiště from its beginnings till present. The theoretical part deals with individual sport lines from historical perspective. Moreover, we concentrated on popular personalities of sport in Uherské Hradiště. Each personality is analyzed on the basis of his or her sporting development and achivements. The reasearch part of the thesis is focused on variety of sports that people do on regular and seasonal basis. Finally, the discussion emphasizes the benefits of this thesis in terms of its unique historical complete overview of sports in Uherské Hradiště. Disparity v populačním vývoji vybraných mikroregionů Zlínského kraje

This thesis is focused on demographic disparities among selected microregions in Zlin region. Thesis has two parts -- theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is literal research which includes definition of microregions and regional disparities, its definition, classification and approach of regional development theories. Practical part is composed of demographic analysis based on Czech statistic office data from 2000 to 2012. First of all demographic indicators are calculated and compared (among microregions as well as among microregions, Czech Republic and Zlin region). Then the main convergence tendencies in population development are indentified by beta and sigma convergence methods. To conclude, future population development is predicted.

Uplatnění ekologického chovu zvířat v podmínkách Zlínského kraje

This thesis discusses the application of organic animal husbandry in terms of the Zlín Region. The thesis describes the general characteristics of organic farming, organic food and it shows negative and positive arguments concerning organic food. The next part is characteristic of the Zlín Region. The last part is focused on the actual situation of organic farming in the Zlín region and individual organic farms in region. Conclusion evaluates the possibility of further development of organic animal husbandry in the region.
