Advanced Methods of Circuits Theory Educations
Vyroubalová, Ivana ; Šátek, Václav (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis is about design and implementation of an e-learning system to help the students in daily course of Circuits Theory. This system works with different requirements based on special rights for appropriate user-groups. Implementation of the system requires support the specific mathematical formulas, creation of study materials and functions for testing knowledges in Circuits Theory and in Safety work on electrical devices. The system is implemented using XHTML and PHP, the design using cascade style sheets CSS. The educational material is created in XML, MathML and XSL languages and tests are saved in a database. The database is designed using the UML language and implemented in MySQL database system. This system is a part of diploma thesis.
Automatic Slides Translation from OpenDocument to Reaveal.js
Skalický, Filip ; Pluskal, Jan (referee) ; Polčák, Libor (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of automatic conversion of OpenDocument presentation into Markdown language, which is then presented using Reveal.js framework. The application uses the initial setup, converts the presentation into Markdown, and then outputs the conversion information. The presentation can then be run using Reaveal.js. The content of this thesis is the description of the implementation of the application, describtion of the complications during the conversion and their solution. The application is tested by converting selected presentations.
Automatic Generation of Load Testing Reports
Oškera, Jakub ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Grabovský, Štěpán (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the development of a tool for automated generation of load testing reports, which is implemented in the form of a plug-in into the load tester JMeter as one of its components. The theoretical part contains an analysis of load testing and DDoS parameters, which are the output of a web report. The thesis includes an analysis of available template processors. Based on the analysis of processor’s properties, the most appropriate one was chosen. This processor was then used in a tool that, using the web technologies, generates a report in a form of interactive web page. The thesis also mentions the installation and operation of the created JMeter software plug-in. The diploma thesis describes the whole process of the development of the plug-in.
Vývoj softwarové aplikace pro podporu hry Cvrček
KŘIŠTA, Miloslav
This bachelor thesis deals with the creation of a new application for the support of the game Cvrček. The application is intended to replace the existing program support created by Tomáš Jakeš in 2005. This thesis tries to make more understandable the use of XML technologies which is used to store values created by the application into XML files, for design and validation of XML files using XML Schema and the convertion of XML files using XSLT to HTML pages. Besides what was mentioned, this thesis also deals with JAXB interface for working with XML files in Java language and sending HTML files to the Word Wide Web.
Processing image metadata in XSLT/XQuery
Šubrt, Matěj ; Kosek, Jiří (advisor) ; Vojíř, Stanislav (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with how to obtain information from image formats, especially those that use Exif specification for storing metadata, which offers a lot of information about the image. The work focuses on creating a library that gets these meta-data from the image using XSLT, XQuery and XPath. A simple application/transformation is also part of the work, which can extract the metadata from the enclosed images and display them to the user.
XSLT Benchmarking
Mašíček, Viktor ; Holubová, Irena (advisor) ; Lokoč, Jakub (referee)
The main goal of this work was to create an XSLT Benchmark, to compare available XSLT processors. At first, we determined main criteria of XSLT processors (price, correctness, speed, memory usage, support, OS and UX), which we discussed. Next, we summarized existing XSLT processors, described individual types of processors (program, library and browser) and measured criteria price, support, OS} and UX. We had to create appropriate test environment to measure criteria correctness, speed and memory usage. Created program XSLT Benchmarking is one of the main benefits of this work. The program also includes tests. We created tests based on 5787 downloaded XSLT files. Tests were created based on the analysis of these files. Firstly, we researched common features of XSLT files (used elements, used XSLT versions, output format etc.). Secondly, we researched focuses of their usages. Next big benefit of this work is a summary of results of tests from different views. We discussed other criteria and features of tested processors. Finally, we summarized possible extensions of our program and also of our analysis.
Comparison of Fully Software and Hardware Accelerated XML Processing
Knap, Tomáš
The aim of this work is to compare XML processing abilities of standard software solutions and hardware accelerated scenarios using a new generation of XML processing appliances. The emphasis is puts on the speed of processing XML documents and on the demandingness of various operations over XML data. Firstly, we describe the used XML technologies and corresponding implementations in Java. Consequently, we characterize the core parts of our testing frameworks - IBM WebSphere DataPower Integration Appliance XI50 for hardware accelerated and IBM WebSphere Application Server 6.1 for standard XML processing. Further, the testing hierarchy involving two distinct testing suites - "Flat" and "Onion"- and tens of testing scenarios are defined. The "Flat" testing suite covers parsing, validating, transforming, and securing operations over XML data applied individually to a wide range of testing data, without bothering with concurrency. On the other hand, the "Onion" testing suite is a stress test combining several operations together. Both testing suites are executed on our testing framework and several measures (such as throughput) are collected and analyzed using n-dimensional OLAP cubes. The results show under which circumstances the appliance for hardware accelerated XML processing is worth using on and quantify...
Integrace Sociálních sítí
Mašíček, Viktor ; Skopal, Tomáš (referee) ; Tykal, Jaroslav (advisor)
Social networks are the current phenomenon, and their integration begins to gain importance. Basic idea is to pair identical pieces of information stored in various social networks and to detect inconsistencies between them. The most important data that need to be integrated are user profi les and lists of contacts. In our work, we propose the integration of both the pro files and lists of contacts, and even groups of users that could be created in social networks. Implementation is not part of the work. However the proposal suggests the creation of Main social network in form of a web application, that brokers the integration to end users. From the perspective of users it is bene cial to display data from all social networks in one place and automate detection of di erences. User's data could be used for commercial purposes, of course, within legal limits. From this perspective, the biggest contribution of Main social network is a social graph. It consists of various social graphs of social networks. Additionally it would contain information about membership of users in social networks. The proposal consists of three main parts: main processes of the Main social network, its data model and means of gathering information from different networks. The design of data model was partially inspired by existing...
Information System with XSLT Templates
Mazura, František ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The goal of this work is to create a universal framework for small and medium information systems. For resolving this problem I use the PHP language together with the XSLT sheets and the REST architecture. The framework provides a fast creation of information systems using XSLT, AJAX and the possibility of a remote access by an API. The main result is a fast framework with a simple modularity.
Managing Dictionaries in XML
Michalová, Romana ; Škoda, Petr (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This paper describes the system that manages XML dictionaries which are at the LMF form. The dictionaries can be accessed on the server or locally. XML BaseX stores the dictionaries and one is able to compare, show, edit or create them. XSLT is used for visualization and XPath with XQuery are used for editing, navigating and going through the XML data.
