Reftoolbox - Refrigeration Toolbox For Matlab/Simulink
Glos, Jan
RefToolbox is an useful utility for MATLAB/Simulink, which adds support of thermodynamic data export and ph diagram plotting. It is based on CoolProp and supports large number of refrigerants and other mediums. Using graphical user interface it is possible to gain thermodynamic dependencies of state variables and export them into lookup tables. Also ph diagrams can be assembled using this tool and then used during simulations and measurements of heat pump and other refrigeration applications.
Hybrid Energy Harvesting Device
Rasocha, David ; Rubeš, Ondřej (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor theasis is focuses on the design of a hybrid piezoelectric vibratory genera-tor. The main idea is to place a permanent magnet on the end of the piezoelectric beam and to place the coil appropriately in order to make a electromagnetic generator. The coil will generate a electrical voltage on load, when the magnetic field is passing throught coil. The piezoelectric beam will also generate voltage, depending on its deformation. For modeling, Femm, Matlab and Simulink will be used.
Electromagnetic energy harvesting resonator for train trackside
Rusková, Miroslava ; Singule, Vladislav (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis was to design an electromagnetic generator to the purpose of supplying signalling and safety devices on the rail tracks. The electromagnetic generator is a separate electrical source, which is mainly needed for safety in the case of not covered tracks by electrical installation. The thesis proposes two types of electromagnetic generator and one with non-linear stiffness, which are designed for the passage of trains with low frequency.
Model for energy control from solar panel
Hromek, Jiří ; Dvořáček, Martin (referee) ; Malounek, Petr (advisor)
This is specifies problems of electricity development from the sun. It informs about the principles and especially means of optimizing of extracting maximum. There is created a prototype in the Matlab/Simulink environment representing a source of radiation and a solar panel. A prototype output is an extracted voltage for a different angles of panel tilt compared to a light source and a different lighting intensity. A prototype is practically realized then. Then there is devised a procedure of prototype for a maximum voltage extracting from solar panels. A prototype is liable to connect to the programmable controller of B&R company.
Virtual prototype of mechatronic system
Dinga, Milan ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with modeling of delta 3D printer virtual prototype and its co-simulation using software ADAMS and MATLAB/SIMULINK. The first part consists of virtual model creation and its kinematic analysis. Then a model of electric motors is created. The final part consists of co-simulation and control design.

Sensorless position control of solenoid valve
Keprt, Jaroslav ; Janák, Luděk (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the determination of the position of the solenoid core in real time based on the measured current. The reference position of the current is used for feedback control of the solenoid. For this issue, software tool Matlab/Simulink was used. For current and temperature measurements, PCB circuits were created. The whole project was carried out on the dSPACE platform.
High frequency signal injection method for PMSM position estimation
Moravec, Vojtěch ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Pohl, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the design of vector control of interior permanent magnet synchronous motors. The first part of this work deals with vector control transformations and mathematical modelling of synchronous motors. Furthermore, algorithms of sensorless control are discussed, especially HF injection sensorless methods. One of these methods was used for torque and speed control. Problem of phase delay caused by filters and it’s compensation is also discused. One of the HF injection sensorless method was implemented on both motors. The results of simulations in MATLAB/Simulink and tests of real motors on dSpace are included.
HAM-Tools library use for the simulation of the thermal performance of the house
Zábojník, Jakub ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
In terms of master’s thesis HAM-Tools library designed for MATLAB/Simulink was modified for the use in simulations of houses in the Czech Republic. Modified library and its parts were described in detail and tested by the simulation of the one-zone and two-zones models of the house. The simulations of models with same parameters were also realized in program TRNSYS. The corresponding results achieved in mentioned simulation tools were compared to each other. The one-zone model created by using HAM-Tools library is tested by the simulation of ventilating, heating, cooling, and sources of moisture. A demonstration of the practical use of the simulation is carried out in the thesis, namely by examining the influence of the insulation thickness on the thermal performance of the house (resp. its heat loss) on real atmospheric conditions. Among others, available resources of meteorological data are mentioned and compared to each other. The function for processing of the meteorological data to a file compatible with the HAM-Tools library was created. It was also created a material data file containing commonly used materials of building structures in the Czech Republic and their parameters.
Design of electromagnetic laboratory shaker
Vaněček, Michal ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
My thesis describes the design of a laboratory electromagnetic vibrator, which will be used for testing of the vibrating microgenerators. In the first part of my thesis is the search of selected laboratory electromagnetic vibration generators. There is also formulated its own proposal and subsequent tuning of the required dimensions and characteristics of the laboratory electromagnetic vibration generator. The tuning of necessary properties and dimensions is formed as modeling and simulating in programms Matlab / Simulink and ANSYS. The conduct of laboratory electromagnetic vibration generator is implemented in MATLAB / Simulink. Design and dimensions of the laboratory electromagnetic vibration generator is made in SolidWorks.
