Bohemian Royal Towns in the Correspondence of the Vicechamberlain of Royal Towns in 1640-1648

The study deals with the contacts between Bohemian royal towns and the vicechamberlains Jan Jindřich Chanovský z Dlouhé Vsi and Oldřich Sezima Karel Skuhrovský ze Skuhrova in 1640-1648. As a source two books of vicechamberlains' correspondence (so called registers) were used.
Social security in Sweden, Spain and Great Britain

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe social security in chosen states of the European Union, concretely in Sweden, Spain and Great Britain and to point out to their different or similar characteristics. The thesis is related to social security, its development, international state and its position at the level of European Union. There is also solved the question of social states typology. Each of the stated states represents one type of social states according to division of Mr. Esping-Andersen, in accordance to his theory social states, so-called "welfare states", are divided into 3 types. Each one is represented by one state in this thesis. The social-democratic type is represented by Sweden, corporatist-statist type by Spain and liberal type by Great Britain. Individual types and states are presented and their social security is described. Subsequently comparison is mentioned and its task is to compare social security in selected states.
Comparison of the Czech and the Swedish tax system

In my bachelor thesis I deal with comparison of Czech and Swedish tax system. The tax system of Sweden is ranked among successful tax systems of the world and is different from the Czech one that is why I have chosen this system for comparison. The aim of this thesis is to refer to differences between these systems and assess the impacts of the tax systems from the perspective of public finances. The thesis is divided into 3 chapters. In the first one I deal with tax theory to understand the problem. The second chapter is about Czech tax system and in the final chapter the description of Swedish tax system a comparison with Czech system is situated. Some recommendations are mentioned too.
EU social policy including the comparison of the social systems in Germany and Sweden

The thesis describes the historical evolution of the EU social policy, clarifies the concept of the European social model and deals with characteristics of the basic models of the European social policy. The essential part of the thesis is devoted to the comparison of the social systems in Germany and Sweden from the point of view of the amount of taxes and social contributions, the structure of receipts and expenditure on social policy, the systems of old age pension schemes, the family policy and the unemployment benefit. The comparison shows some typical elements of the social state model that these two countries represent. The attention is also devoted to the contemporary challenges which the European social model has to face, especially the demographic development and aspects of globalization. The attitude and responses of the European Union to these challenges are also mentioned here.
Readiness of Swedish kingdom for adopting common currency

The work's goal is to examine the readiness of Sweden for the possible introduction of the euro as a legal tender. It monitors as the economic situation and fulfilling of convergence criteria, so the atmosphere prevailing among the population. In conclusion is the situation compared with Czech Republic, which should implement a common currency in nearby future and with the Slovak Republic, which has already been using euro for one year.

The thesis Nordic Welfare states addresses the social policies of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. It concentrates on specific features of policies forming the Nordic social system and the paper also evaluates the impacts of the social policies in various fields. Moreover, the paper discusses the perspectives of the Nordic welfare state and identifies potential risks which they may face in the future.

The aim of this thesis is to summarize and extend the findings of the second demographic transition in the Czech Republic. To show sociological changes that occurred after the beginning of the second demographic transition. The aim is to estimate time series models of individual demographic indicators before and after the second demographic transition. Predictions of selected demographic indicators are based on Swedis demographic time series.
Position of Sweden in the Frame of the European Integration Processes

The thesis is focused on the position of Sweden in the frame of the european integration process since Second World War. It emphasises the development of traditional swedish neutrality in international relations, entry to the European Free Trade Association, and later to the European Union. The other part is concetrated on current problems and challenges, such as euro acceptation, youth unemployment, fiscal sustainability, and imigration. The last chapter has a comparative character and compares Sweden from different points of view to its nearest geographical, and cultural neighbors. These are Denmark, and Finland.

The bachelor thesis deals with the actual situation of tax system in Sweden and its development. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the actual situation, the second deals with the development. The thesis describes all relevant taxes, which constitute the Swedish tax system. The percentage of total tax revenue and the gross domestic product is also mentioned. The thesis deals with the great reform of the tax system, which took place in 1991.
