Risk Management Support System
Kubíček, Jan ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
The work provides theoretical base of project management. It describes the current approach to project management as a combination of multiple processes. The process of risk management is described with special care. It also discuss some of the different approaches to risk management. \\ The work suggests new way of handling risk management, that combines risk management and data mining. Data mining approach is also used to mine quantitative risk values. This approach was successfully implemented and tested. Tests showed that this approach is very useful for omitted risk identification. Unfortunately it is also not recommendable for mining quantitative risk values.
Decision Risks Management Methods
Janošík, Petr ; Chudý, Peter (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This thesis deals with the matter of risk managament in IT projects. It explains the importance of risk management in such projects and shows different ways and methods of managing and analyzing the risks. After explaining the basic concepts and the various phases of risk management the text focuses on two methods of risk analysis - the fault tree analysis of event tree analysis. Use of both methods is explained for both quantitative and qualitative analyses. The second half of the work includes the design of an application for the support of risk analysis employing the methods of fault tree analysis and event tree analysis. This is followed by a description of the implementation of the proposed system in a web environment using jQuery, Nette Framework and Dibi.
The application of analytical methods based on X-rays in analysis of building materials
Klekner, Martin ; Bydžovský,, Jiří (referee) ; Dufka, Amos (advisor)
Master’s thesis mainly deals with XRF analysis of building materials. Comprehensively analyzes the factors that limit the accuracy of the obtained data, creates a new methodology for the rapid analysis of silicate materials by XRF instrument and discusses the influences determining the reproducibility of the results of XRF analysis.
Reliability assessment of FPM
Němec, Ondřej ; Dvořák,, Ladislav (referee) ; Julínek, Tomáš (advisor)
The topic of this thesis was the evaluation of selected elements of flood control measures, abbreviated as PPO. The aim of this paper was to develop evaluation procedure of PPO and then to apply proposed procedure to a specific location. FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) that allows the identification of failure modes, their causes and consequences.was chose as a method for qualitative assessment.
Využití NIR spektroskopie při kontrole falšování kozího mléka
Ptáčková, Eva
The aim of the thesis was to find out whether NIR spectroscopy is a suitable method for adulteration control of cow and goat milk. Also to which concentration level the method is still effective was sought. Theoretical part summarizes information about the requirements for goat milk, its composition and processing possibilities. It also contains information about food adulteration and the relevant legislation. Infrared spectroscopy is theoretically described, particularly NIR spectroscopy. The experimental part describes the procedure of qualitative analysis using NIR spectroscopy, the method of evaluation and its results. Different samples of goat milk adulterated with various proportions of cow milk were compared. Results were evaluated using discriminant analysis. NIR spectroscopy has been demonstrated as a method suitable for detecting goat milk adulteration.
Využití FT NIR spektroskopie v mlékárenském průmyslu
Kozelková, Monika
The aim of this thesis was to verify and evaluate the possibilities of FT NIR spectroscopy usage in dairy industry. The quantitative calibrations were developed to determinate concentration or physical parameter of sheep and goat milk, ice cream, Olomouc curd-cheese, dry sweet whey, rennet and made curds. Moisture content or dryness (for the nature of the product), fat, protein, lactose etc. as well as some other minority components such as fatty acid or physical properties (pH and titrable acidity) were established as the reference methods of the major components. All samples were measured by the spectrophotometer FT NIR Antaris. The calibration models for each component were created by using Partial least squares (PLS) algorithm and Discriminant analysis. Very good results were obtained for almost all the calibrations where all the correlation coefficients were between 0.858 to 0.999. By using discriminant analysis in order to obtain qualitative evaluation of products we were verifying the ability of FT NIR spectrophotometer to classify analyzed spectrum in to pre-defined classes and thus to determine differences by Olomouc curd-cheese, rennet and courds. The results of this thesis confirm the suitability of FT NIR spectroscopy for quantitative and also qualitative properties of raw materials, intermediate products, as well as final products.
The evaluation of a project methodology change in a retail organization
Boháčková, Klára ; Hrůzová, Helena (advisor) ; Břicháč, Pavel (referee)
The thesis is focused on analysis and comparison of the company's internal project methodology and official project methodology PRINCE2. This thesis aims to evaluate which of the methodologies is more suitable for management of projects in Ahold. A comparative qualitative analysis is used for the comparison of the project methodologies. The analysis is mainly focused on comparison of project phases, processes and documents. Furthermore concrete project is used to substantiate how each of these project methodologies would influence its realization. Comparing internal methodology and PRINCE2 methodology it was found that the internal project methodology that respects the specifics of Ahold is better for project management than official methodology PRINCE2.
Mass Description of a Station for Injured Animals
Průchová, Jaroslava ; Nový, Jan (advisor) ; Musil, Martin (referee)
The objective of this thesis " Medial icon of casualty animals' central rescue stations "is to find out the medial icon of central rescue stations engaged in protection of free-living animals and medical icon of the others ecologic enterprises in regional journal Deník. The intention of this thesis will be assignment by the contentual analysis of articles issued in regional journal how media in Czech republic presented acivities of the central rescue stations engaged in protection of free-living animals as compared with the presentation of others ecologic enterprises. The articles will be lied under the quantitative and qualitative contentual analysis, when first the articles will be chosen and filtered. In qualitative part the articles will be analysed according to selected criterions, that contribute to formation of medial presentation of researched organisation and their medial icon conception. Availabe objective of the thesis I have selected 3 hypotesis, that will be affirmed or controverted by folow-up research.
What impacts had new drug low on illegal drug users?
Miovský, Michal
Qualitative part of PAD project had three substudies. Two of then focused on illegal drug users and proffesionals from the area health and social care. The main goal of this substudies was identify all potentional changes of risk behaviour on the different levels in drug users population and potentional changes in entrance or drop-out from social and health care. Second area for analysis was the identification of changies on the black market, changies of police behaviour (and strategies) and other institutions. The crucial point was cinfirmation of refute the ralation between changies and new drug low. In both of this substudies was dominant qualitative methods and technics. As a nomination technique was used Snowball sampling and for data collection semistructured inetrview, observation and estimation technics. This methods was used in the framework Rapid Assessment methods (WHO 1998).
Research design of qualitative part of PAD project
Miovský, Michal
The author presents the research design of project PAD. The main goal of Goverment research project PAD is assessment of effectiveness of the drug legislation context change - new drug low, that started in spring 1999. This project has two parts with different metho-dological frameworks: a) methodology of Cost of Illness, espesially Cost and benefit method, b) qualitative research methods, particularly Rapid Assessment (WHO), Grounded Theory etc. In the paper is argued that the implementation of Cost and benefit and Cost of illness is not possible without results coming from qualitative part of study. Supervisor of the qualitative part of the project is professor Bruce Bullington from the School of Criminal Justice (Florida state univerzity, USA).
