Operational safety of mobile robots in indoor environment
Vojta, Jakub ; Věchet, Stanislav (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
During cooperation with the Bender Robotics company a need for operational safety assessment of an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) emerged. Operational safety evaluation is a step towards mass production of the studied robot. Market entry of a product requires a string of various actions and safety assessment is one of them. For risk identification and severity rating were used legal requirements, best practice given by standards, FMEA method, experiment and RIPRAN method. Threats, possible scenarios and risks analysis is systematically discussed through all areas of operation of the robot, from design and construction to control software. All the steps are described in logical order. Starting with information research, going on with series of analysis and ending with suggestions for increased operational safety of autonomous mobile robots.
Embedded control system for an autonomous mobile robot
Hrbáček, Jan ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem a realizací vestavěného řídicího systému určeného pro autonomní mobilní robot Advee. Řídicí systém tvoří vrstvu abstrakce mezi hardwarovými prostředky robotu a vyššími vrstvami řízení, které provádějí lokalizaci robotu a plánování pohybu. V rámci návrhu byla vyvinuta modulární struktura systému a zvoleny prostředky mezimodulové komunikace. Navržený systém byl pak implementován včetně podpory komunikačních standardů EIA-485 a CAN bus. Zvolená architektura systému se v praxi osvědčila --- prototyp robotu Advee řízený popsaným systémem má za sebou více než 500 hodin komerčního provozu s minimem poruch.
Robot vision with industrial robots Kuka
Selingerová, Simona ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a practical application employing an industrial robot KUKA, a vision system – smart camera Siemens. The application is focused on synchronizing or robot movements with objects moving on a conveyor belt. The introductory and theoretical part of this thesis is concerned with various systems for machine vision currently available on the market. Practical part is then focused on the demonstration application: setting-up the robotic cell and description of all devices, robot and vision system programming.
Intelligent Sensory Net designed on the standard IEEE 802.15.4
Janšta, Tomáš ; Holý, Miroslav (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
This thesis focuses on design of wireless network nodes using modular construction parts with respect to IEEEŽ 802.15.4 standard. Presented platform joins the benefits of the XBeeŽ wireless module and the AVR ATmega128 microcontroller development system. Sensor network prototype is designed to meet the desired first attempt functionality of embedded platform for collection and delivery of small volumes of control and sensor data between the network and the gateway. The control software was developed for TinyOS operating system. Designed platform is used as the framework for future development and possible functionality extensions in related applications.
Indoor Robot - Control Neural Network
Křepelka, Pavel ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
In this document, I describe possibilities of mobile robot navigation. This problems are solving many different ways, but there isn’t satisfactorily result to this day. You find there describe of deterministic algorithms, this algorithms can be used for simply actions like obstacle avoiding or travel in corridor. For global navigation this algorithms fails. In next part of document is theory of artificial neural nets (perceptron, multi layer neural nets, self organization map) and using them in mobile robots. Own navigation algorithms was tested on constructed mobile robot or simulated in SW described in chapter 6. Design own control algorithms is based on neural net (Kohonen net). Designed algorithms can be used for one-point navigation or complex global navigation. In document, there is comparing of various ways to navigation, their advantages and disadvantages. Goal of this document is find effective algorithm for navigation and artificial intelligence appears to be the right solution.
Wheelchair control using EEG signal classification
V práci jsou popsány čtyři hlavní komponenty konceptu: elektroencefalograf, brain-computer interface (rozhraní mozek-počítač), systém sdílené kontroly a samotný elektrický invalidní vozík. V textu je představena použitá metodologie a výsledky provedených experimentů. V závěru jsou nastíněna doporučení pro budoucí vývoj.
Control of a wheelchair
Vožda, Ondřej ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Šolc, František (advisor)
This thesis describes development of control algorithm for a wheelchair. Wheelchair should be capable of tracking and following a wall or a similar flat surface. Thesis is supposed to be an extension of the previous concept, whose purpose was to allow remote telepresence control of this wheelchair. SRF08 ultrasonic range finders are used to measure distance from the wall. Furthermore, image processing for mark detection is discussed. Purpose of these marks is to increase precision during final phase of the parking.
Swarm Intelligence in MRDS
Kučera, Lukáš ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
The background research in this Master’s thesis is focused on swarm intelligence. Further, there are two experiments described. They are based on released publications and they study behaviour of a group of robots during a puck gathering and during a target search. The actual thesis follows a repetition of these experiments in Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio (RDS), a free robotics simulation environment. The realization of both experiments in RDS is documented in detail and the achieved results are evaluated and compared with the results described in the publications. In conclusion, the thesis summarizes basic features, advantages and disadvantages of developing in RDS, based on a personal experience.
Fuzzy map models for mobile robots
Machek, Ondřej ; Burian, František (referee) ; Jura, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis present a method for building topological maps for mobile robot navigation using neural network and neural fuzzy network. The master thesis concentrates on classification method. Neural fuzzy network is compared with two neural networks. It was also designed control algorithm exploration environment for autonomous mobile robot. This will rereduce the time to build the map. I developed simulation program in Matlab, which simulate move mobile robot in unknown environment.
Minidarpa robot - motor controller design
Libra, Jaroslav ; Florián, Tomáš (referee) ; Kopečný, Lukáš (advisor)
The main task of this master’s thesis is to design circuits for feedback control of the main drives Minidarpa robot. It contains the description of power-driven mobile robot control theory and the DC motor. The second part deals with the design options of the control module and its mechanical design. The last part of the proposal made cascade speed control with current loop by using optimal module and the symmetric optimum methods.
