Cílem práce je posoudit úspěšnost podnikání konkrétní společnosti, jež svou velikostí spadá do kategorie malých a středních podniků, a to z pohledu její strategie a stratecického řízení. Správnost nastavení podnikové strategie je hodnocena na základě vypracované strategické analýzy a SWOT matice. Z výsledných zjištění těchto analýz jsou následně formulována doporučení pro tvorbu resp. modifikaci této hodnocené strategie.

Cílem diplomové práce je zjištění objektivizované hodnoty společnosti Plzeňský Prazdroj, a.s. při zachování stávajícího konceptu podniku k 1. 4. 2007. Ocenění je provedeno metodou EVA entity a metodou tržního porovnání, a to metodou srovnatelných podniků a metodou odvětvových multiplikátorů. Součástí ocenění je finanční analýza vypovídající o finančním zdraví podniku, strategická analýza včetně vymezení relevantního trhu a analýzy vnitřního a vnějšího výnosového potenciálu, analýza a prognóza generátorů hodnoty a finanční plán.

Balanced Scorecard brings advantages like global analysis of a company and is an instrument that enables to create and implement business strategy. Thesis contains analysis of current situation of the company from Balanced Scorecard point of view, financial benchmarking and strategic analysis of the company. Hereafter thesis comprehends project of Balanced Scorecard system which covers strategic objectives and performance measures, strategic initiatives and strategic map of Chart Ferox company.

The purpose of the diploma thesis is to determine value in use of the company Plzeňský Prazdroj, a.s. to 31.3.2008. The thesis consists of strategic analysis, which results into forecast of revenues of the company, financial analysis, which is focused on situation of financial health of the company. Next parts of the thesis are analysis and prediction of generators of value, financial plan and final evaluation. For evaluation was used DCF APV method and market comparison method.

Final thesis focuses on strategic and financial analysis of Pivovar Janáček, a.s. Strategic analysis researches the beer market in the Czech Republic. Thesis analyzes beer industry and its role in OKEC, beer consumption, beer production and structure of the beer market in the Czech Republic. Furthermore is analyzed labeling beer, taxation of beer and export of beer. Financial analysis deals with horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements, analysis of liquidity, rentability, activity, debt ration and also analysis of predictive models. Perspectives of the company are summarized according to previous analysis in the conclusion.

The aim of the thesis is to make a strategic analysis of the newly opened private school by University of Economics, Prague. For analysis of external environment is used PEST model and Porter's model of Five Competitive Forces. Special attention is paid to description of Czech-MBA-schools market. Internal environment is described by analysis of company's resources. Outputs from partial analyses are summarised in SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis serves than for formulation of strategic recommendation to ISBM.

The topic of this diploma thesis is the strategic analysis of an organization. The strategic analysis is specifically applied to an allowance organization Správa a údržba silnic Jihomoravského kraje, příspěvková organizace. Objective contents of the thesis are divided into an analytical part and a strategic part in relation to the short history of the organisation and its current state described in respect of the organisation's substance, structure and processes. In the first chapter of the diploma thesis the organisation's history and consequently its current state are briefly outlined. In the second chapter the organisation's external and internal strategic analyses are carried out aiming at the evaluation of the initial organisation's strategic position. In connection to this analytical part, the third chapter concentrates on the formulation of the organisation's strategy and on the definition of its specific strategic objectives. With the gradual implementation of these objectives, the target strategic positioning of the organisation should be achieved. The final part of the diploma thesis summarizes the most important findings that can fundamentally influence the organisation's successful development in view of its long-term perspective.
