Controlling of developments of Erste Group Immorent Czech Republic

Bachelor's thesis describes an information system for management of development projects of Erste Group Immorent Czech Republic. This is complemented by theory of the calculations, calculation systems, and project management. The main outcome of this work is proposal of three improvements for increasing efficiency of described system.
The proposal of tourism development project in selected part of Klatovy region

The main aim of the thesis is to propose a project that would increase attendance and awareness of the selected region Klatovy. To create such a tourism product that would not only enrich the existing tourist attractions in the region, but also attracted the respondents to this area. This product will focus on the personality of a major czech Jaroslav Kvapil, who in the selected area born and raised. The area is rich in cultural attractions, but this potential is not used as much as they could. From this perspective, efforts to expand the range of cultural tourism in the area, as there are many cultural attractions.
Development Cooperation in Kenya

The thesis analyses development cooperation in Kenya, including an example of personally realized development project. The goal of the thesis is to find out what is the current state and direction of development cooperation in Kenya, demonstrate some of the problems of Kenya and their possible solutions using an example of personally visited region and realized development project and to determine whether this project corresponds to the current trend of development cooperation in the world and in Kenya. The first chapter characterizes the current political, economic and social situation on Kenya. Following parts analyze the Kenyan development strategies and current trends in the area of development cooperation at the global level and in Kenya. The last chapter describes personally realized development project which is then evaluated from the point of view of new paradigm of development cooperation and concerning the overall impact.
Planning process of development in a case of office building

This bachelor thesis is focused on documentation of a plannig process of a real project in office development. It is based on methodology of scope, time and costs planning. It describes content and problems of realization from investors point of view. It analyses possible causes and results of certain complications. The aim of thesis is to evaluate the project, which I started implementing in the South of Namibia last year, by OECD Evaluation Manual. The project, namely KINDERGARTENS 2009, Namibia {--} Keetmanshoop, deals with the pre-school educational network in the southern regional town Keetmanshoop, where I was working as a volunteer for Czech non-governmental organisation People In Need for six months. The project has provided local kindergarten teachers with technical assistance within the framework of one project, which is being implemented by organisation People In Need. The theoretical part is predominantly consisted of topics, which are relevant to own evaluation process {--} the socio-economic structure of Namibia, its development and policy educational context and lastly, accurate description of OECD evaluation handbook. At the beginning of this part I provide a general overview of development assistance and its official forms to readers. Then, the research part represents the evaluation report. It includes its own objectives, methodology and conclusions. The project is measured in terms of goals and changes accomplished. As a result, I am able to assess whether the project has been effective and its impact on national educational policy. The final part of evaluation is directed towards the question of project sustainability and recommendations and lessons learned for contingent users.
The proposal of cultural tourism development project in Třeboň region

The objective of this Diploma Thesis is to draft a project of cultural tourism development in Třeboň region. Quantity of ponds and water courses are typical for this territory, and it also parades with a number of water mills that are architecturally or technologically valuable in terms of historic monuments. Despite their value they are not used as touristic sites and that is why to draft a project of Museum of miller's craft Mill of Spolí is a constituent of the Thesis. The sense and the objective of the project are to provide public access into the existing building of the Mill of Spolí as a technical monument. Museum exposition and practical demonstrations of mill machinery should improve the visitors' knowledge and it should inform them about the history of miller's craft and about the history of the Mill of Spolí itself. By these means the fame of Czech miller's craft as one of the traditional elements of country settlement should be reminded.

The theoretical part of this thesis explains the process of real estate project financing, describes its main features, characterizes participants of the process and main forms of project loans. It also depicts the feasibility study as a key source of project bank loan application, describe collection of loan documents, guarantees and hedging agreements and provide an overview of the methods used to evaluate the effectiveness of the project. The analytical part describes a particular project of development of a residential real estate and its project finance funding. Furthermore, the final section analyses the effectiveness of given project and the parameters of provided project bank loan.

The study summarizes development of apartments market since 1989. The factors which significantly influenced the apartments market are defined. The analysis of apartments market is applied to Pilsner city. The study also specifies some possibilities of financing of development projects. The study focuses on evaluation of prospectus for an investor who entered the business of apartments development. The study also presents several possibilities of financing including tax issues for such investor.
Evaluation of Possible Stabilization Effects in the Budget Policies of Municipalities in the Czech Republic

This thesis is focused on identification and evaluation of stabilization effects of municipal budgetary policy. Stabilization policy of state and municipalities is outlined in the first part of this thesis. Its second part is concerned with relation between stabilization and regional policy and possibilities of Czech municipalities to raise financial support for their development projects within regional policy of Czech Republic. The third part is focused on instruments used by municipalities to reach their objectives within their stabilization and development policy. Particular attention is paid to budgetary policy of municipalities, their revenues and expenditures. The fourth and fifth part of this thesis deal with concrete municipalities, i.e. small village Sedlec and midsized town Hluboká nad Vltavou, their budgetary policy, their stabilization effects and development projects implemented by them. Finally, in the sixth part, important correspondences and differences between these two municipalities are recorded.
