Teaching programming in Python
FORTELKA, Tomáš
The target of this Bachelor thesis is to create a training-lesson's collection, which will be usable for teaching object oriented programing in high schools and also in universities. The Python language is dynamic object oriented language, which has, beside using in practice, very good response also as the language used in the preliminary courses object oriented programing.
Using key of Pythons
PETRŮ, Vojtěch
Pythonidae (pythons) belongs to order Squamata (lizards and snakes) and suborder Serpentes (snakes). Pythonidae live in Africa, Asia, Australia and near islands. Today, they are very popular business article, because they have huge body and atractive colorful designs on theirs skin. For this reason was made this work. Purpose of this work is facilitate distinguish species of Pithonidae. It selectes 21 species, which corresponding with real trade in Czech Republic. For this species was made using key and independent text with Picture. In the and the key has been tested in practice in public and improper ambiguities were removed.
Comparsion of frameworks for rapid web development
Florian, Jan ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Šlajchrt, Zbyněk (referee)
This thesis aids at comparing two frameworks based on Python and Ruby used for agile web development. Besides the basic description, history and philosophy of both Django and Ruby on Rails, all criteria used for their evaluation are laid down, described and put into wider context. In addition, the implementation of the MVC architecture in both frameworks is described along with the basic project structure and tools available.
Programming language Python and its suitability of his assignment to the tuition
Arendáč, Tomáš ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Oraný, Vladimír (referee)
This thesis is concerned by programming language Python and its suitability of his assignment to the tuition. The work is divided into three dominant parts. The first part describes programming language Python, its elementary characteristics and features. The purpose is to introduce its properties to the reader so that he could estimate if there is point in the deeper concern. There are elements of object-oriented programming in description, too. The second part analyses programming language Python on the basis of ten criteria which are defined considering applicability of the language in preliminary courses of programming. The purpose is to review if the Python is appropriate in these courses. The third part considers the possibilities of the Python tuition at the University of Economics in Prague. The main contribution of the thesis is to give opinion on the fundamental description of the language, to define framework and to pass judgment on the potential chance of use in preliminary courses of programming.
The preprocessor for system LISA
Hora, Petr ; Šiňor, M.
In this contribution we pay attention to the propagation of the stress waves in an arbitrary complex inhomogeneous media. For the system of elastodynamic wave equations we have adopted the method of solution based on the local interaction simulation approach (LISA) and the sharp interface model (SIM) introduced for 1D, 2D and 3D cases in [1-3].

In this contribution we pay attention to the propagation of the stress waves in an arbitrary complex inhomogeneous media. For the system of elastodynamic wave equations we have adopted the method of solution based on the local interaction simulation approach (LISA) and the sharp interface model (SIM).The implementation of LISA/SIM in 2D and 3D to computer codes is done in the C programming language. Preprocessor is done in the programming language Python with graphics library wxPython/wxWindows.
Python programming language and the effectiveness of its inclusion in the teaching
Vitásek, Tomáš ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Pavlíček, Luboš (referee)
The goal of the first part of this work is to summarize the basics of the Python programming language. Show how to create programs in Python, what are the modules, the basic data types, syntax and the possibility of approach to language. The second part will address the description of the initial programming courses, their objectives and what benefits it brings to teaching Python. Finally, then look at the (in)dependence on the Python platform for running and how to get from Python to another frequently used programming languages.
Trends in web application development
Jasný, Vojtěch ; Brabec, Tomáš (advisor) ; Špánek, Roman (referee)
The thesis is divided between two main topics: the first are trends in web application development on the client-side. Described are AJAX and COMET techniques, JSON format for data interchange, tools usable to debug Javascript applications and three Javascript libraries. Important part of client-side development are forms, which are far from ideal in their current state. Hence description of XForms and Web Forms 2.0 and their comparison is included. The second topic is server-side development. First the most used technologies used today are evaluated. Further, several frameworks are described and compared on a set of criteria. Python, Ruby and Java languages are represented.
Recent trends in web-application development
AJAX, Ruby, Python, ich použití, kladoch a záporoch. V prípadovej štúdii nasadenia LAMP vo firme vyvíjajúcej webové aplikácie popíšem dôvody nasadenia LAMP, uvediem porovnanie s konkurenčným riešením, sumarizujem skúsenosti s prevádzkou LAMP a zhodnotím výhľad používania tejto platformy v budúcnosti.
