Modern Programming Language Julia
Fojtík, Pavel ; Grochol, David (referee) ; Nikl, Vojtěch (advisor)
This work describes dynamic programming language Julia. Firstly, user is introduced to syntax and implementation of this language. Next there are advices for writing effective code and his optimalization. Also some examples of using Julia in scientific projects are described. Comparison between Julia, C and Python is in experimental part. Python and C were chosen as examples of statically and dynamically typed languages.
Visualization of flight data to passengers
Alfery, Vladimír ; Dittrich, Petr (referee) ; Chudý, Peter (advisor)
The goal of the thesis is to enable passengers to see the actual flight information, which the pilot sees from the cockpit. This information is viewable on electronic device connected to the aircraft internal wireless network. Web application which uses CesiumJS library to view terrain is used in order to ensure compatibility with the most nowadays devices with operating system Windows, OS X, iOS and Android.
Automatic Topic Detection, Segmentation and Visualization of On-Line Courses
Řídký, Josef ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a web application for automatic topic detection and segmentation of on-line courses. During playback of processed records, the application should be able to offer records from thematically consistent on-line courses. This document contains problem description, list of used instruments, description of implementation, the principle of operation and description of final user interface.
The Grid
Gajdošík, Andreas ; Magid, Václav (referee) ; Krekovič, Slavomír (advisor)
Work aims at consequences of fully developed infrastructure of web 2.0 and its wide social acceptance, which with cheap computing power leads to massive data interpretation. In relation to that this work uses public Facebook's data about user activity at right wing oriented Facebook pages which gathers and statisticaly analyzes. Result is then showed at web page which is designed to look close to the look of extreme right wing webs. Positive first sight impression of right wing sympathizers is then eroded with not so good empirical statistics. Under 100 users are commenting quite often so this right wing craziness looks like a small movement in the end. Therefore Grid stands somewhere between amateur sociol research and artistic intervention into public media space.
Design and implementation of testing unit for small series production
Kolomazník, Vojtěch ; Krejsa, Jiří (referee) ; Hrbáček, Jan (advisor)
The goal of the master´s thesis is to design testing unit for small batch production. The background research part introduces testing principles, we are also discussed different ways of realization of testing connectors and choice of control unit. The work also describes the design of the hardware wiring and mechanical design. The result of this thesis is a device implemented according to the proposal described in the work. No significant fault was found during operation of testing unit, which verified its reliability and full functionality. The work also includes a description of the software implementation in Python.
Aplikace pro podporu odhadu nákladů nasazování informačního systému
Mikóczy, Tomáš
This diploma thesis deals with cost estimation issue and design of software application assisting while creating such estimates. This application should provide an alternative to other approaches of information system cost estimates. In the theoretical part we acquire an overview of existing methods of estimate creations and the possibilities of their use. The practical part contains a design of an application assisting estimations. The correctness of the proposed design is verified by partial implementation of the application later on in the last part of the thesis.
Dynamic Time Warping for Vehicle Classification
Halachkin, Aliaksei ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the dynamic time warping. During the work was written C/Python library. Using this library, the algorithm was subsequently applied for the vehicle classification based on their shapes. Testing had been performed on real data from a laser scanner. Then the algorithm had been compared to the correlation and Euclidean distance. Finally, laboratory model had been created, which demonstrates vehicle recognition using dynamic time warping.
Universal GSM communicator
Starčok, Tomáš ; Adámek, Martin (referee) ; Šandera, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deal with the design of GSM communicator controlled via SMS. It describes the general characteristics and parameters of GSM modules. It selects and describes suitable GSM module for this device. Describes the whole process of electronics design in this device. Then describes the design, manufacture, assembling and testing of the PCB. In conclusion it shows the achieved results and electrical parameters of the device.
Programmable IR receiver
Géze, Daniel ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Fedra, Zbyněk (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is design and realization of solutions for hardware and software programmable IR receiver. IR receiver is actually a logic programmable automat, which responds to commands from the remote broadcast communications protocol RC6 designed by Philips. Codes of these commands can be assigned to different actions. Using the configuration application in PC by any code of buttons it is possible to order firmly programmed codes in a flexible management processor Cypress (CY8C29466). Configuration software for the PC has been created by using the python programming language. The main purpose of this device is helping for the handicapped people.
Use of optical cable properties for geolocation in the Internet
Chmelař, Jakub ; Verner, Lukáš (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the IP geolocation which estimates the geographic location of hosts in the Internet network. The knowledge of geographic location can be used both for targeting specific services and information, such as advertisement or weather forecast, and for better utilization of transport network because it is possible to serve content from sources which are located closer to client. The main topic of this thesis is the Speed of Internet geolocation method (SOI), which is an active method based on measurement of latency in network. The theoretical part of the thesis explains how to perform these measurements and briefly describes a few more active geolocation methods. The practical part includes full description of SOI implementation created using Python programming language. This implementation was subsequently used to accomplish a sequence of measurements which allowed accuracy comparison with other geolocation methods. The final part of this thesis evaluates results of these measurements and offers a few possible changes which could improve accuracy of described implementation.
