Chemical and Microstructural Changes in Plasma Sprayed MgTiO3-CaTiO3 System During Subsequent Annealing
Ctibor, Pavel ; Kolman, Blahoslav Jan ; Rohan, Pavel
Titanes,in general, form a wide and important group of technical ceramics. From materials based on titanium oxides, ternary systems ATiO3 represent the simplest titanate materials used especially for electrical applications.Among crystals formed from A2+Ti4+O2-3 systems,geikielite(MgTiO3)and perovskite(CaTiO3) are well known.Mixture of geikielite-perovskite MgTiO3-CaTiO3 with Mg:Ca ratio equal to 94:6(14TiO2.11MgO.CaO),has permittivity independent of tempe
Plasma Spraying as a Technique for Dielectric Ceramics Preparation
Ctibor, Pavel ; Rohan, Pavel ; Kolman, Blahoslav Jan ; Dubský, Jiří ; Chráska, Pavel
This paper reports on plasma spraying of several synthetic titanetes.Ceramic materials CaTiO3-LaMg0,5Ti0,5O3,Zr0, 8Sn0,2TiO4 as well as mixture of geikielite-perovskite MgTiO3-CaTiO3 were sprayed using gas stabilized plasma gun. These materials are well know as microwave dielectrics. Plasma spraying was performed with the gas stabilized plasma gun Plasmatechnik HB4.Standard experimental techniques were used for studying of microstructure, chemical and
Electric Resistivity of Plasma Deposited Titanates
Ctibor, Pavel ; Sedláček, J.
This work representes first output from a broader study of dielectric properties of plasma deposits made from powder with the same starting composition as industrially produced dielectric ceramics.Influence of plasma spraying itself and of the subsequent annealing of sprayed deposits on electric resistivity of several titanates is reported here.Only a small number of papers exist about the dielectric properties of thermally sprayed deposits, but on the
