This work defines religion market as a network industry when at a certain level of switching costs can lead in individual's locking up in the current group and thus prevent his conversion. First, the participating individual's utility function is defined. It is largely influenced by the probability which the individual attaches to the existence of God and afterlife. The study shows, that at sufficiently high level of social capital, it is advantageous to participate for rationally minded individuals although they are not believers. The empirical part demonstrates the effect of specific religious and social capitals on individual's decision to convert through the logit model. This influence is positive, compared to original expectations (i.e. the higher the social and specific capital, the higher the tendency to convert). It can confirm the thesis that the influence of these individual's growth of specific capital is causing higher demand for more strict organizations which eliminate free-riders and provide higher social capital.

The first chapter describes theoretical preconditions for a case study with respect to the different types of municipal revenues, management of these funds and basic criteria that should be considered during the decision-making process. The costs and benefits of investment projects are briefly discussed as well. The second chapter looks closely at the revenues of the municipality Hluboš and the possibilities to use these funds to finance investment projects. The third chapter is then devoted to a concrete investment project of the municipality Hluboš and its funding. The realized interviews showed that the main reason for realization of the evaluated investment project was the existence of the grant and if the project had to be financed from other resources it would not have been realized at all. Based on this comparison, it is stated that the municipality did not consider the basic criteria in its decision-making.

The practical part of the thesis analyzes data describing the state of ICT sector in the Czech economy. The first part looks at ways of measuring ICT benefits as they are seen by a number of other authors and described in many studies. This provides a summary of the possibilities to consider when looking at our topic. The second part uses conclusions from previous works on similar topics to set some recommendations for policy improvement as well as social development that will enable maximizing the achieved utility of ICTs. Third part evaluates the position of ICT sector in the Czech Republic by analyzing basic statistical data about the economic and employment impact of all ICT firms as a whole. This is compared to other sectors of the Czech economy. Last part provides a detailed description of the process to calculate output and employment multipliers for all the sectors of Czech economy and then calculates these values according to the process. In the end, there is a summary of the theoretical and practical findings described in all preceding chapters.
