Production of cover drain

Diploma thesis deals with the design of producing the cover drain. The cover serves to catch impurities while draining liquids. The part is made of 1.4301 stainless steel, using 1-mm thick sheet metal. The size of the annual production series is 30,000 units. As an optimal method of production, progressive cutting and shallow drawing were selected in a combined and a one-purpose tool. Technological and design calculations were performed according to which tools were designed. The LENP 100 press was selected considering the total required pressing force. The cost of one piece production was calculated at 18.91 CZK and the production becomes profitable with annual production higher than 19,478 units per year.
Corner fitting manufacturing by compound tool

Project have for purpose propose acceptable technology for manufacturing corner fitting by compound tool. Corner fitting is made from steel sheet 11 321.1 thickness 1,5 mm in production set 600 000 pieces in a year. Was select variant with manufacturing compound tool, which make to part on four steps on automatized manufacturing line. This line includes press about power press 1000 kN, feeding and levelling serving and containing rewinder. In economic results are calculated costs production of a piece, final costs and break-even point which is coming after production 216 049 pieces.
Production of filter cover

The project elaborated design of technology production of the filter cover - section from the deep drawing sheet 11 325 (DC04). Based on analysis was chosen combination of technologies shearing and deep drawing for that option was designed manufacturing process. Forming process is realized on hydraulic progressive press from Sweden company AP&T which has got total nominal tensile force 1740 kN and equipped 5 stations with lower holders and upper ejectors. Deep drawn part is transported between stations by feeders which are part of press. Function parts are made from alloyed tool steels 19 436 and 19 573 which are heat-worked according to drawing documentation. In chapter technical and economical evaluation was determined turning point which become after reaching of 142 840 parts.
Form shim manufacturing by compound tool

Purpose of this diploma thesis is a design of a compound tool for manufacturing the form shim. The form shim is made by shearing and bending technology from steel sheet 11 343.1. Thickness is 2 mm. On the basis of a literary study and design calculations was designed the compound tool, which will manufacture this component by 4 actions on the automated line containing rewinder, feeding levelling machine and eccentric press with designed compound tool. Economic calculations show that the designed manufacturing is profitable.
Manufacturing of the support arm

The thesis introduces a design for the technology of manufacturing the supporting arm used for positioning and rigidity of the front plate in relation to the metal socket in the container box. The arm is made of a 2 mm thick steel sheet and of a quality according to ČSN 411331 in a production series of 14,700 units / year of the left modification and 14,700 pieces / year of the right modification. After the assessment of individual production options, the cutting technology in a progressing tool and bending technology in a simple tool were selected. Based on a literary study on cutting and bending, an optimal process of arm manufacturing was proposed. After the design, technological and control calculations for individual technologies, the tools were designed, and the technical documentation for those tools was developed. For the cutting technology, an Andritz Kaiser press with a PV120F / 1 labelling was selected. For the second production step, bending technology, a press from Šmeral Brno a.s. with a LEN 63 labelling was selected. Both of these presses meet the requirements of both the forming force and the tool dimensions. After the economy of production was assessed, production costs of one piece were determined with a 30 % profit assumed to 28.47 CZK. The turning point when production became profitable was found after the production of 18,121 units.
Technology project for production of part "No.2432-cover"

The project developed in the framework of Bachelor's study presents a proposal of producing technology of cover "2432", part of the sheet. Based on literature research, the studies and on own experience has been produced this work. The issue of materials, cutting, piping, drawing, design of the tool, evaluation of economic and technological design production has been studied. On the basis of the combined instrument has been designed, constructed according to standards, and the use of existing machinery. To resolve it was accounted economic assessment, which enabled decision-making between the semi-finished products for production. It was found that current production is not economically advantageous, compared to the options proposed. It has been ensured and the complex layout of machines in the area of existing production.
Use of modern technologies in the production of flat sheet metal parts

The final work elaborated in the scope of master's studies of the branch 2303T002 submitted use of modern technologies in the production of flat sheet metal parts from the material 11 373. Work is set for cold shaping of metal by means of cutting. Production on sequence shearing tool is based on series 350 000 pieces per year. Universal hydraulic press CUPS 63 DEU with shearing force 630 kN is selected for realization. Work is also focused on the production of the same components using plasma, laser and water CNC equipment and the subsequent economic evaluation of all variants of the production. In enclosure there is drawing documentation for cutting tool.
Production of the gutter hook

This bachelor thesis introduces a gutter hook technology production design made of 5 mm thick 11 321 steel sheet. Progressive die tool shearing and bending was chosen as the best production technology. Technology and structure calculations were done for this method. A three step hole punching bender tool has been designed. HMG 100 press produced by TVARtech company – stroje s.r.o. with a coil feeding line by Coiltech company was chosen for production in accordance with the power requirements.
Production of the Folding meter lock

The thesis proposes a concept of manufacturing the folding meter lock. The part is made from DC01+LC steel of 0,3 mm thickness. The series size is 100 000 pcs/year. A forming in a progressive combination tool combining shearing, bending and stamping was chosen for the production, based on the analysis of possible solutions. The tool, designed on the basis of literary research of used technologies, produces the part in eleven steps exerting maximal force of 38,5 kN. The production will take place on an eccentric press LEN 40 C. The market price of 3,38 Kč for one piece was established by the technical and economic evaluation.
Technology design of switchgear manufacturing

This Master´s Thesis developed as a part of the follow-up Master´s Program studies in the field of M-STM Manufacturing Technology and Management in Industry introduces a technological proposal of switchgear manufacturing technology. Based on the research and assessment of the current status in the casing production, a technological process is proposed including technological and design documentation. The conclusion of this work is focused on the techno-economic evaluation of the selected production method and savings opportunities.
