Risk Management in Selected Company

The thesis is focused on problematic of risk management process. This topic is frequently
ignored in number of firms in Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the
system of risk management based on analyzing in a company of AWIGO s.r.o. and in case
of deficiencies propose own solution. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts,
theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is based on the processing of literature
research from the technical literature, summarizes the basic concepts and then explains
the process of analysis and risk management in companies and other organizations.
The practical part analyzes the specific company. In the company ran an interview with
three respondents. The interview outlined the current status of the company's risk
management. For the evaluation of the real state of risk management was used an internal
documents dealing with risk management. After analyzing the status of the proposed
solution containing the identification of the fundamental risks for the areas in which the
company is engaged. Individual identified risks are assessed according to established
criteria set out on my own experiences and observations from the position of temporary
worker and consultations with experts in the area of company business. In conclusion of
this thesis are given evaluations and recommendations based on previous analysis of risk
management in the company. The main proposal is to start using risk management and
appropriately adjust the responsibilities and duties within the company.

Application of Project Risk Management in Practice

This thesis focuses on Project Risk Management in selected company. Attention is dedicated to the topic of Risk and its relation to the project Project. Risk is perceived in a broader perspective as a threat and an opportunity. The theoretical part also describes the process of risk management and related concepts. In the practical part the author describes the initial situation of Project Risk Management in selected company and proposes adequate methodology for Project Risk Management. The proposed methodology involves the optimal process of Project Risk Management, including all documentation and charts. The proposed methodology of Project Risk Management is applied to a particular project from the practice of the company.

Residence Sochorova - apartment building BD 2, construction and technology project

This thesis describes the building of a residential house called Rezidence Sochorova BD02 in Brno, Žabovřesky. The aim was the creation of the main parts of a constructional-technological project focused on the design of transport relations, the construction site facilities and its machinery, the creation of selected technological regulations and their control and testing plans. To secure safety and to protect health during the construction work itself, a risk plan and a suggestion of safety aids was created. In addition, an itemized budget of the construction, a time plan, environmental protection and a financial and time comparison of using a hopper in contrast to a concrete pump.

Problems of Occupational Safety and Health Protection at work

As a theme for my Master's Thesis I chose the theme of problems which are connected with application of Occupational Safety and Health Protection principles in practice. The aim of the Master's Thesis is to outline possible problems which we could come across while implementing the Occupational Safety and Health Protection policy and to map a major part of important legal enactments covering sphere of Occupational Safety and Health Protection. The Master's Thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical one. In the theoretical part I at first briefly outline historical development of legal regulation in the Czech Republic then I proceed to a summary and characteristics of the most important contemporary legal enactments whereas I don' t omit an European legal regulation and legal regulation within the framework of International Labour Organisation. Another important part of the theoretical part is devoted to national policy of occupational safety and health protection at work. In the practical part I present the Occupational Safety and Health Protection problematic in practice and I focus on training, analysis and risk classification and formation of risk register in company Hella Autotechnik, s.r.o.
