Sport hall and its facilities for the elementary school Hudcova 35, Brno

The task of the diploma thesis is to design a sports hall for a primary school in Brno – Medlánky. This task was preceded by a school project during the winter semester, where the task was to process the development area with the aim of designing an urban structure for the location of the sports hall. The area of the sports hall was to be located at the shortest possible walking distance from the primary school. Next, add additional functions to the structure as appropriate, based on the analyzes performed. The area for the location of the sports hall is currently made up mainly of agricultural land with overgrown greenery. The terrain is slightly sloping and descends from west to east. The territory is defined on the north side by the existing development of buildings, on the east side by a service road and on the west by a park. The aim of the thesis is to design a sports hall with simple operation, so that its independence is preserved even during afternoon/evening operation, e.g. leisure activities of sports clubs. The building has a playing area with a grandstand for spectators, changing rooms with hygienic facilities, a multi-purpose hall, offices for teachers and a bistro. Since the building is located in a predominantly green area, I tried to integrate it into the terrain and merge with the surrounding nature by designing biosolar roofs and green facades. These parts of the living facade are balanced by glazed surfaces, which bring natural light into the building and create ideal climatic conditions for sports activities. Living facades will create a pleasant climate in the future as well in the case of construction in a development area. The aim of the project is to use and make the entire area more attractive and to connect it with existing buildings.

Reconstruction of the town spa in Male Svatonovice

The bachelor's thesis follows up on the architectural study created by me in the third year of the academic year 2019/2020 within the subject AG035 - Studio of Architectural Creation V - Restoration of Monuments. The content of this bachelor's thesis is the elaboration of a study to the level of documentation for a building permit and part of the documentation for the construction. The solved building was built in the first half of the 18th century. In 1930, a fire broke out in the village, including the town spa. The whole truss burned down, leaving only the perimeter walls. After 6 years of reconstruction, the building reopened to the public. There was a spa, hotel and inn. At present, there are doctors' surgeries, social flats, the Čapek Brothers Museum, public toilets, and a ceremonial hall. The main intention was to restore the late Baroque appearance of the building. The biggest construction intervention will be the removal of the third floor and the removal of the false mansard roof. It will be replaced by a hipped roof with a residential attic, as it was originally. Removing the existing roof structure will reduce the number of storyes, but the height of the building will remain almost the same. The new roof shape is hipped with a purlin truss system. All the original brickwork of the load-bearing interior and perimeter walls will be preserved. More modern extensions from the rear of the building and the internal partition will also be removed. The layout will be adjusted according to the function of the part of the building. Division of functional parts into city spas and short-term accommodation, Museum of the Čapek Brothers, ceremonial hall and part reserved for doctors. The external expression of the building dates back to the late Baroque period, according to historical photographs and postcards. Problems of Occupational Safety and Health Protection at work

As a theme for my Master's Thesis I chose the theme of problems which are connected with application of Occupational Safety and Health Protection principles in practice. The aim of the Master's Thesis is to outline possible problems which we could come across while implementing the Occupational Safety and Health Protection policy and to map a major part of important legal enactments covering sphere of Occupational Safety and Health Protection. The Master's Thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical one. In the theoretical part I at first briefly outline historical development of legal regulation in the Czech Republic then I proceed to a summary and characteristics of the most important contemporary legal enactments whereas I don' t omit an European legal regulation and legal regulation within the framework of International Labour Organisation. Another important part of the theoretical part is devoted to national policy of occupational safety and health protection at work. In the practical part I present the Occupational Safety and Health Protection problematic in practice and I focus on training, analysis and risk classification and formation of risk register in company Hella Autotechnik, s.r.o.

Franco-German Relations in 1998-2002 and their Impact on European Integration

This theses examines the franco-german relations in the context of "new generation" of politicians - french president Jacques Chirac and german chancellor Gerhard Schroeder.They both influenced franco-german relations in different way than it used to be. Friendly post-war relations, opened to compromises on behalf of european integration were replaced by cold and vehement enforcement of national interests. The aim of the work was to confirm or disprove this change and eventually how and in which way it has influenced the process of European integration.
