Author: Jan Holásek Summary/Abstract Title of the Thesis: What Senate? - Position of Senate in the Constitutional System of the Czech Republic The thesis "What Senate? - Position of Senate in the Constitutional System of the Czech Republic" (hereinafter also the "Thesis") discusses the legal position and functioning of the Senate of the Czech Republic. The objective of the Thesis is to highlight the basic principles of the concept of bicameral legislative bodies; mention the history of bicameral structures in the modern history of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic; describe the main principles of functioning of the second/high chambers in constitutional systems which could be inspirative for the Czech Senate; describe the principles of establishment, functioning and competencies of the current Senate of the Czech Republic, including the proposals for amendments of the Senate constitutional position made in the past. Furthermore, to consider the ways in which it would be possible to strengthen the position of the Senate in constitutional and political systems of the Czech Republic; suggest specific amendments to the Senate competencies aiming to ensure its position in order for the Senate to be repsected not only by the political representatives, but also professional representatives as well as the...

French-Czech Chamber of Commerce

This bachelor thesis deals with the mutual business relations between the Czech Republic and France and describes the functioning and activities of the French-Czech Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as FCCC). The aim of this paper is to characterize the activities of FCCC and to evaluate its contribution to the deepening of the trade relations between the Czech Republic and France. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter covers the mutual Czech-French business relations and cultural differences. The second chapter describes the FCCC, its mission, membership and activities. The third chapter includes interviews with members of the Chamber.

The Feudo-vassal System on Royal Estates in Early Modern Bohemia

Markéta Novotná Abstract - The Feudo-vassal System on Royal Estates in Early Modern Bohemia The study is devoted to the topic of feudo-vassal relations in early modern Bohemia presented on a sample of specific royal and chamber domains at the castle Karlštejn. The first part of the thesis describes how the feudo-vassal tenures were treated in Czech and European historical studies, using impulses from the philosophy and sociology. The others chapters are dedicated to the main object of this analysis - to the Karlštejn vassal system - a group of small-sized estates connected to castle Karlštejn through feudo-vassal bonds. The second chapter of the thesis deals with the problem of historical consciousness, where the castle Karlštejn is imagined as the site of "the national memory", which strongly effected the interpretation of the Karlštejn vassal system. The third (main) part of the thesis presents the factual analysis of the Karlštejn vassal system from the last third of sixteenth century to the turn of the seventies and the eighties of the next century. The thesis aims to explore the relationship of international professional organization ACCA, respectively ICAEW and Faculty of Finance and Accounting (VŠE), and the knowledge to confront each other. The introduction emphasized the importance of professional organizations in connection with the voluntary and compulsory established organizations. The main part of this thesis is focused on the organization ACCA, which deals with her qualifications. The final part closer describes the cooperation between ACCA and FFA in connection with obtaining the accreditation. This part is complemented by the procedure to obtain the accreditation.

Interruption of Speech during Debate in Selected Parliamentary Chambers: Study 1.165

Právo na vystoupení poslance v parlamentní rozpravě je jednou z nejdůležitějších součástí mandátu poslance. Navazuje na základní parlamentní privilegium poslance „freedom of speech“. Z tohoto důvodu se přerušení vystoupení poslance v rozpravě zásadně nepřipouští, pokud poslanec dodržuje předem daná pravidla jednání. Předseda (předsedající) je osobou, která vykládá jednací řád, řídí jednání a volá poslance k pořádku, pokud se vyskytují nepořádky v komoře (včetně nepořádků při vystoupení poslance). V naprosté většině parlamentů není možno projev poslance, který neporušuje daná pravidla jednání, nijak přerušit (a to ani předsedajícím). Výjimku tvoří v části parlamentních komor procedurální návrhy a výzvy k pořádku (call to order). V rámci výzvy k pořádku se povoluje přerušení i v případě odchýlení se od bodu nebo opakování se. V několika parlamentních komorách je možné přerušení vystoupení se souhlasem poslance, který má projev. Právo poslance na nepřerušený projev v rozpravě je zneužíváno k parlamentním obstrukcím, které jsou po mnohá desetiletí (či v některých státech staletí) legitimní součástí parlamentního jednání. Název filibuster označuje obstrukci, užívanou menšinou vůči většině, pomocí níž se zdržuje přijetí rozhodnutí (je používáno zejména v Austrálii a Senátu USA). Obstrukce jsou považovány za část parlamentní demokracie. V některých státech je jim podrobnými předpisy zabraňováno (například stanovením hodiny, do které je možno večer jednat a hlasovat).

The content of this work deals with the distribution of temperature, air flow and optimized airflow for medical and laboratory equipment. Especially in terms of using hot-air sterilizer chambers. The purpose of my bachelors thesis is the identification of the issues from the best theoretical description and explanation and my bachelors thesis includes picture with existing problematic . For this purpose I have dealt with the right choice literature and personally, I attended a business that is engaged in manufacturing various types of sterilizers.

The design of sand mixer with output range 3-5 TPH

The subject of this diploma thesis is engineering design of the continuous mixer with output range 3-5 TPH. Mixer is instrumental to mixing sand mixture intended to non-permanent sand forms in foundry. Proposed construction has to fulfill the specified functional requirements and parameters. Parts of solution are also necessary analytical and FEA calculations.
