My bachelor's thesis deals with creating of a suitable Internet portal of the research group according to the specified requirements of the proposer. This portal will be used in Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and includes specified portal functions e.g. administration of news, publications and animations, diary of events, creating own animations, and collaboration with MathCad. This bachelor's thesis describes all tools which are used for implementation of the web application (PHP, MySQL, CSS, JavaScript, Apache). As an enclosure, an electronic medium with the source codes of the whole application including user's manual is provided.

The main subject of this bachelor thesis is to propose and to implement an information system for a betting portal, which makes possible to predict NHL matches, to share tips between tipsters and to rate the success of the tipsters in a betting competition. The aplication is implemented as an internet portal using PHP and MySQL.

The thesis consists out of two major parts, theory and practical part. Used metods and terms are described in first part. Practical part benefits from strategic analysis and describes solution of given problem.

The thesis focuses on businnes plan of a newly started up company ArtBe Ltd. The theoretical part looks at the importance of a business plan for businessmen and companies. The emphasis is on the structure of the business plan, upon which the business plan is based in the practical part. The practical part is a business plan of ArtBe Ltd., which is a company that runs an internet portal selling handmade products of Czech and Slovak authors. The business plan also evaluates possibilities of the companie´s future expansion.

Analysis of the educational portals in the Czech Republic.

Bachelor's thesis focuses on Czech e-learning portals that provide links or directly create training courses for the training of specialists in the field of information technology. The aim of the work is to select an e-learning portal, whose products are most appropriate for the training of IT specialists. Selection of the portal has been carried out on the basis of the analysis and selection according to established criteria. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part there are described issues of e-learning (definition of the concept of e-learning, its historical development, types, advantages and disadvantages of the use of, trends, etc.). The practical part consists of setting criteria of the e-learning portal, the methods of analysis of the portal according to the following criteria and the resulting evaluation and determination of the recommendation.

Business plan – Information portal for foreign visitors of Prague

The aim of the thesis is to compile a business plan for setting up a business offering Internet portal services for foreign visitors to Prague and to verify the feasibility of a business plan. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part explains and describes the basic division of Internet market, parts of online marketing and its trends and in particular the structure of the business plan. The practical part deals with the project itself, which is assembled a business plan with all its necessities. It describes the business plan; business goals are defined, market, customers and competition analysis performed, marketing strategy launched and project implementation plan and financial plan set. The whole plan is finally evaluated by the SWOT analysis and risk analysis.
