It has not been examined in the Czech Republic for persons who are interested in healthy diet, as a specific group of people yet. Objectives: Primary goal of the thesis was to analyse lifestyle behaviors in persons who are interested in healthy diet and compare the data obtained with healthy eating and healthy lifestyle recommendations. Secondary goal of the thesis was to analyse quality of life, life satisfaction, mental hygiene and some aspects of physical health of persons who are interested in healthy diet. Methods: Data for this prospective cross-sectional questionnaire survey were obtained in the period from September 2012 to June 2015. Respondents from the general public attended free lectures held in the education cycle, focusing on healthy lifestyle in the project Ebstyle on Faculty of Pharmacy, Charles University. Title: Healthy lifestyle in curriculum of preschool-age Goal: The aim of this thesis was to determinate an extent of attention to healthy lifestyle in curriculum of preschool-age children. Futhermore the thesis monitored an attitude of selected kindergarten towards issues of healthy lifestyle of children. Research: A quantitative (non-standardized questionnaire) and a qualitative (interview) method as the research method was used. Results: In conclusion, selected kindergarten pay sufficient attention to various parts of healthy lifestyle of preschool-age children. We discovered differences by Montessori kindergarten among the others. Positive changes in people's lifestyles that beneficially impact overall health are one of the main goals of today's society. Objectives: Primary goal of this thesis was to analyse the level of healthy living practice among students of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové and then compare these findings with results from similar scientific studies. Secondary goal was to study the differences between the obtained data and data acquired from the same poll among students in 2012 and then describe any changes made over time. Methods: Data was derived from an anonymous survey handed out to 113 students in December 2016. Official recommendations from Czech and foreign health organizations were used to determine the healthy lifestyle criteria. Gathered data was analysed using descriptive statistics in Microsoft Excel 2010. Hypotheses mentioned in the introduction to this thesis were then tested using statistics software IBM SPSS 19. Results: Overall, respondents obtained similar or better results...
Linguistic devices of present french language in the field of healthy diet.

(in English): The aim of this dissertation is to characterize linguistic devices of contemporary French in the technical field of maintaining a healthy diet based on an analysis of texts from this communicative field. The work is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on defining the field of nutrition and theoretical foundations needed for textual analysis. Technical discourse is characterized in terms of its composition and linguistic devices such as morphosyntactic means and technical vocabulary. The second part defines the types of texts by the addressee, which classifies professional theoretical texts, practical scientific texts, educational texts and didactic texts. Each text is analyzed in terms of the pragmatic plane, discursive plane, notice plane, and then by morfosyntactic and lexical devices. Before the analysis itself, the methodology is defined and sets the different planes of analysis.

Consumption of fruits and vegetables among pupils of younger and older school age in Milovice

The aim of this bachelor thesis paper was to investigate the overall awareness of pupils from the 3rd - 5th grade from a selected primary school in Milovice. The secondary objectives monitored whether fruit and vegetables are a daily part of the target group's diet, at the same time whether the pupils actually eat fruit and vegetables received during recess and lunch breaks. Another research goal was to address the benefits of Fruit and Vegetables in schools project. The theoretical part is devoted to healthy nutrition. It describes the functions of the main nutrients, there is emphasis on accessory nutrients, especially on vitamins, fibers and antioxidants, which emphasizes the necessity of eating fruit and vegetables. Part of the theoretical part is also the issue of nutrition of children and the short discussion on the project Fruit and Vegetables in Schools. At the same time, a chapter on the digestive tract has been included, as it is here that digestion and absorption of substances from food occurs. The diploma thesis deals with the issue of a healthy lifestyle and nutrition in connection with the prevention of civilization diseases. It describes the causes of these diseases, the risks and possibilities of prevention. It also draws attention to the principles of correct eating habits, the pitfalls of various diets, the consequences of overeating, the danger of overweight and obesity, the negative influence of stress on our health, and ways and principles of healthy weight reduction. It summarizes advices and recommendations of professionals for optimal composition of our diet, a change of lifestyle, and the significance of correct breathing, relaxation, exercise, positive thinking and sleep for health. The practical part contains a description of the case of a woman suffering from overweight and health problems, and an analysis of the causes and manifestations of an unhealthy lifestyle and diet. It provides steps for resolving the situation and a proposal of suitable therapy for reducing stress recommended by an expert. The work further describes a course of treatment and a risk assessment, and also proposes appropriate measures for maintaining an optimal weight in the future, including recommendations of a suitable diet. Consumption of fruits and vegetables among pupils of younger and older school age in Milovice

v anglickém jazyce This bachelor thesis deals with the consumption of fruit and vegetables in children who attend elementary school in Milovice, specifically a group of pupils from 3rd to 5th grade was observed. As a class teacher, I have been watching the attitude of pupils toward fruit and vegetable consumption, as well as their eating habits, and I have noticed the low popularity of these foods, poor eating habits and an alarming number of children struggling with obesity. Although the school system is striving to educate pupils on healthy eating and healthy lifestyle, it is important to also educate parents of these children, who provide most food and manage children's leisure time. In the theoretical part of my thesis, I focus on fruits and vegetables as the basis of a healthy diet, substances present in these foods and risks resulting from insufficient amounts of these substances in the body. The practical part examines the popularity of fruit and vegetables among pupils, their preferences and the share of these foods in their diet.
