Photovoltaic cells for supplying low-consumption electronic devices
Stránský, Patrik ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Slavíček, Karel (advisor)
Goal of this bachelor thesis is to design the power supply for low-consumption electronic devices based on Lithium-polymer battery, which will be charged by photovoltaic cells. The main task is construction of Li-Pol battery charger which will respect fluctuating voltage supplied by solar cell.
Electrocar traction drive supplied with the hydrogen fuel cell
Pokálený, Jan ; Huták, Petr (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
The topic of this diploma thesis is a traction drive of electrocar with fuel cell. The drive is supplied with hydrogen fuel cell with power of 2 kW. The traction drive consists of the three-phase DC/AC converter and the asynchronous machine. The main part of this work is a creation of the mathematical model of the traction drive in program Matlab–Simulink.
Alternative powertrains of vehicles
Filip, Vojtěch ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the analysis of most common alternative drive systems currently used in cars, their comparison with the current gasoline and diesel engines. Familiarization with the technical solutions of drives, their categorization into several groups according to the specific key features. It also deals the most important components of an alternative fuels automobiles, respecting their strengths and also weaknesses that currently hinder expansion of these propulsions, economically as well as technically.
Electric Longboard Powertrain Design
Pliešovský, Libor ; Tobiáš, Martin (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of electric longboard drivetrain for commuting. The first part deals with the recherche of electric longboards and drivetrain concept selection. The second part contains the design of the whole assembly with focus on the drivetrain. The last part is devoted to the longitudinal driving dynamics.
Design of a photovoltaic power plant for a family house near Jihlava
Dvořák, Vít ; Maule, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a photovoltaic solar power station for a specific family house in the Jihlava region. The aim of the work was to get acquainted with technologies about the production of solar systems, evaluate the market in the Czech Republic and create a design of photovoltaic solar power station. Three designs of power stations were created with the help of the PV * SOL design system. Each design uses different photovoltaic cell technology. The result of each power station design is a complete finished project, which is based on many factors such as the efficiency of the entire system in a certain location, financial analysis, return on investment and more. In addition, these projects meet the conditions for the preparation of the subsidy program Nová zelená úsporám. At the end of the work, all three designed power stations are evaluated and with the help of multicriteria analysis, the best and most advantageous power station design for the given locality is determined. In the end, the idea of further development of the project is presented.
Design and Realization of Mobile Photovoltaic Power Station
Lednický, Ján ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis entitled Design and realization of a mobile photovoltaic power plant is dividet into two parts. In the first, theoretical part one can learn about the state of representation of renewable energy sources in the field of electrical power engineering and about the structure of photovoltaic power station systems. The secont part of this thesis is focused on the own design and realization of the mobile photovoltaic power plant, on the selection of individual suitable components and ther dimensioning. In addition, a model of a mobile power plant has been created, on the basis of which the power plant was constructed. Finally, one can find a source code analysis of a power plant monitoring using a microcontroler
Portable music player
Rozsíval, Adam ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with the project of a portable music player with an amplifier in the class D. The device is powered up by connected power supply unit, eventually by built-in accumulator. Audio signal is played by bluetooth module, sound card or headphone output. Switching inputs and power supply of the accumulator is managed by a micro-controller. A correction equalizer for sound control is also embedded in the booster. All peripheries are put into a wooden baffle board. The sound is reproduced by a pair of loudspeakers.
Design and lay-out of high pressure pumping station.
Václavík, Tomáš ; Franc, Zdeněk (referee) ; Habán, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of diploma thesis is design and lay-out of high pressure pumping station with plunger pumps for splash of scales from slabs of hot-rolled. Theoretic (introduction) part of this thesis contain description of formation of scales and description of ways how it is possible remove these scales. And this part contains also explication of effect of water jet on solid material. The practical part of diploma thesis is focused on design of pumping station including of dimensioning of machinery. Part of this work is also technical documentation for proposed pumping station and specification of main machines and devices.
Power accumulation from renewable energy sources
Kratschmer, Bruno ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
In this thesis I deal with problem of power acumulation from renewable energy sources. First part present the available technologies used for power accumulation. In the second part is designed the systém of acumulation in compressed air with a transformation electric output 1 MW, when is used made elektricity from wind-power plant. In the third part is an assessment in terms of both technical and economic comparison with the use of electicity from the network.
Accumulation of energy from renewable sources
Charvátová, Marie ; Bajko, Jaroslav (referee) ; Fišer, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of accumulation of energy from renewable sources with a closer focus on electricity storage in the "small/home" scale. Delivering energy from renewable sources is highly variable and, in order to cover the time shift between production and consumption, energy must be stored. In the paper are described individual types of energy used in residential housing, sources of renewable energy are presented and various ways of energy accumulation are analyzed. The greatest attention is paid to chemical accumulators, because they are the most suitable solution for home use due to their practicality. At the end of the thesis, operational data from a small demonstration photovoltaic power plant with accumulation of electric energy in chemical accumulators are processed and evaluated.
