Kinship care in the Karlovy vary region

O pěstounské péči se v současné době hovoří především v souvislosti koncepce plánovaného rušení dětských domovů, posílení jejího výkonu a legislativních změn v Zákoně o sociálně právní ochraně dětí. Jedna z forem pěstounské péče je příbuzenská pěstounská péče, kdy se pěstouny stávají příbuzní dítěte. Pro dítě je výhodné, že vyrůstá v prostředí, které je mu známé, existují však i nevýhody tohoto typu náhradní rodinné péče. Má práce se zabývá pozitivy i úskalími příbuzenské pěstounské péče, a to z pohledu dítěte, pěstouna, biologického rodiče a sociálního pracovníka. Cílem práce se stalo zmapování problematiky příbuzenské pěstounské péče z pohledu sociálního pracovníka orgánu sociálně-právní ochrany dětí v Karlovarském kraji.

Transport Accessibility of Municipalities in the Karlovy Vary Region by Individual and Public Transport

This thesis deals with the spatial orientation of transport links in the Karlovy Vary region, with emphasis on links between the centers of the region and its hinterland. The first part describes the general characteristics of this area. It is followed by a selection of the Karlovy Vary Region transport centers and analysis of their acccesibility. This forms the basis for the transport-geographical regionalization of the region, according to the accesibility rates. The final part of this thesis is devoted to the comparison of the individual regionalizations and the identification of factors that affect them.

An Image of the Years 1948, 1953 and 1968 on Pages of the Karlovy Vary Press

Academic paper "An Image of the Years 1948, 1953 and 1968 on Pages of the Karlovy Vary Press" analyses specific articles from newspapers that were published in Karlovy Vary. In 1948 it was newpaper called Budovatel - List Čs. sociální demokracie and Jednota - List pracujících hraničářů. In 1953 we follow newspaper Stráž míru and Karlovarský kraj. We selected several articles which we analysed and described in detail from the perspective of content and thematic focus. We are looking for answers to the questions we have established in the theoretical part. In 1948, we look for references in the texts, for example, to the expulsion of the Germans from Czechoslovakia; new settlement within the areas Germans left, or we look for references to the communist coup in February 1948. In articles from 1953, we follow the information about the deaths of J. V. Stalin and Klement Gottwald. We also look for references about monetary reform in the texts. The work aims to approach the historical environment of the Karlovy Vary region from the perspective of the above-mentioned newspapers.

Komparácia vývoja nezamestnanosti v jednotlivých krajoch Českej republiky

Kucharovicová, Z. The comparison of unemployment trends in the regions of the Czech Republic. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2017. This bachelor thesis examines unemployment trends in the regions of the Czech Republic for the period of 2010 to 2015 and provides the comparison of these trends. Three regions - South Moravian Region, Karlovy Vary Region and Moravian-Silesian Region - have been chosen for this purpose. The indicator of unemployment called the percentage of unemployed persons has been used for this study. Time series of this indicator are analysed by using the additive decomposi-tion of time series and regression analysis. Based on this study, unemployment trends in the chosen regions are apparently identical to each other. Nevertheless, there are some regional disparities which result in diverse unemployment.

After research and analysis of care plans were aims and objectives of protection categorized into the graphs and charts and compared.

Regionální diferenciace podpory cestovního ruchu na venkově prostřednictvím PRV: srovnání Plzeňského, Karlovarského, Ústeckého a Libereckého kraje

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the support of rural tourism from the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 in four chosen regions - Plzeň Region, Karlovy Vary, Ústí nad Labem and Liberec Region. The theoretical part of the thesis includes the literature research concerning the issue of rural tourism, rural areas and discusses the importance of this specific form of tourism for rural development and its application, especially with regard to the analyzed territory and its natural and cultural-historical potential for the development of various forms of tourism. The next part of the thesis deals with the financial support of tourism through the European funds, with an emphasis on the Rural Development Program and its conditions, followed by the detailed analysis of the projects supported by Rural Development Programme 2007-2013, measure III. 1.3. The main objective of this part is to evaluate the projects in relation to rural tourism and to find answers to the questions whether the support was concentrated in tourist attractive areas or how the projects utilize the natural-cultural attractions of the given area. It also includes a more detailed assessment of the support of agritourism, eco-agritourism and hipotourism as specific forms of rural tourism.

Analýza kvality života v Karlovarském a Moravskoslezském kraji

Tomanová, A. Quality of Life Analysis in the Karlovy Vary and Moravian-Silesian Regions. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2019. The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of quality of life in the Karlovy Vary region and Moravian-Silesian region. The thesis is divided into two parts, literary research and the practical part. The literature search defines the concept of quality of life and related indicators that capture the social and economic area. Furthermore, the definition of the term SWOT analysis, which is used in the second part of this work, also appears in this section. There is characteristic of Karlovy Vary and Moravian-Silesian region in its practical part. These areas are further analyzed according to selected quality of life indicators. Subsequently, a mutual comparison of these regions is elaborated. At the end of the thesis there are suggestions for recommendations that could improve the socio-economic situation in both regions.

Business plan for providing interpreting services to deaf people in Carlsbad Region in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis focuses on the current situation in interpreter services for deaf in Carlsbad region in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of diploma thesis aims to inform the reader about the terminology, language, another communication code and the number of deaf people in the Czech Republic. I present the information I have gathered about the deaf community. The goal of the diploma thesis is to create the business plan for interpretation services for the deaf community for the year 2019. After studying documents from the national organization I describe the current situation in the Carlsbad region with interpreter services for the deaf. The surveys aim is to interview doctors from otorhinolaryngology and foniatry in the Carlsbad region. The interviews focus on the communication needs of people with hearing impairment and the information doctors have about interpretation services in the region. Based on the data from the research I did, I found out the exact number of interpretation services for deaf in the region. Unfortunately from the documents I was not able to find out the exact number of deaf clients in the Carlsbad region. From the interviews I ascertain, that the doctors are not informed about the communication needs of people with hearing impairment. Doctors learn information...
