Creating a fluid curtain of the scrubber absorber
Straka, Ondřej ; Kalivoda, Josef (referee) ; Svěrák, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focused on the separation of gaseous pollutants from gas mixture into absorption agent, by using absorption device. The theoretical part deals with describing absorption device in practice and characterization of chemical and physical influence on absorption process. The experimental part concerned describing the construction and properties of laboratory pilot scrubber.
The large-scale solar systems
Králová, Martina ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
Entering of thesis focuses on large-scale solar systems. Large solar-scale system will be used for heating water in public swimming pool. The pool is located in Brno - country. The pool is operated year-round. Great emphasis of the thesis is on the surface heat loss. Evaporation of water from the water surface is also applied in the experimental part of the thesis. In the calculations is used software for modeling the thermal microclimate of buildings and air conditioning design Teruna.
Modular absorption cycle
Honka, Pavel ; Pavlů, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the cooling cycles, namely cycles of absorption. The work is divided into several parts, as problems to be solved. The first part deals with the principles and using refrigeration cycles in practice, their involvement and by comparing the working pairs of substances circulating in the absorption unit. The practical part deals with making a proposal for one-and two-level modular absorption cycle of 6 kW, and the subsequent techno-economic comparison with commonly supplied absorption unit
Design and Realization of Acoustic Treatments of Acouctic Space for Musical Production
Skvaril, Šimon ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
Subject of this thesis are acoustical properties of space which is used for musical production and reproduction. It covers procedures, which are used for finding out acoustical parameters of chosen space, including virtual modeling and software simulation. Next, there are calculations and design of acoustical elements, which should help to improve quality of music listening. At the end those elements are created and applicated with their functionality verified by measuring acoustical properties
Absorption of ammonia from an operational accident in the ice stadium
Ryšková, Marie ; Gal, Pavel (referee) ; Jecha, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with ammonia absorption in case of cooling machine breakdown at ice pool. Thesis is divided into four chapters. Theoretical part is focused on different methods of cooling an ice rink inside a stadium. Two basic principles are mentioned, how ice rink is created and what refrigerant is used. In the next part are listed valid standards, according to which the operators of ice pools proceed or may proceed to ensure technical safety. Essentials of emergency plan and breakdown preventions are also mentioned. Primary theoretical part focuses on gas cleansing by absorption and its basic principle, which includes Fick's first law, following with introduction to different kinds of absorption machines and its principles. Last chapter is a practical one, in which is the elimination of leaked ammonia by ventilation method and more ecological way – ventilation method with absorber. This cleansing method issue is dealt with mathematically by calculating absorbed gas to liquid using software MathCad.
Chassis of racing motorcycles
Kudr, Jan ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Those theses describe complex of motorbike chassis and components from racing sector. Here is explained geometry of motorbike chassis and impact to riding properties. Geometry of motorbike chassis and driving style are closely linked with adjusting of damping and springing. In the end, depending on chassis adjustment tires can show us how good or how bad is adjusted the chassis.
Trigeneration and its use in practice
Čupera, Pavel ; Mastný, Petr (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
e master's thesis clarifies the concept of trigeneration and the principle of absorbing cooling. Compare the advantages and disadvantages of this method of manufacture cool with compressor cooling. It presents an overview of the implementation of a developing cold absorption and performance. Acquainted with the types of absorption chillers of the two leading suppliers, their characteristics and existing applications of these refrigeration units in operation in the Czech Republic and abroad. It also assesses the possibility of using these units in conjunction with a cogeneration unit powered by internal combustion engine. It follows from the economic assessment of costs and income of the absorption chillers and compressor chillers and on concrete examples and an assessment of the effectiveness of the various options.
Solar collectors of Viessmann Company – technical and economical assessment
Kábele, Pavel ; Bělka, Miloslav (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
This work is about technical and economical asessment of solar collectors by Viessmann company. In the first part there are general distribution, description each parts of collectors and parameters which affect a function of collectors. In the second part there are Viessmann company, description of present production. Suitability of use and technical parameters. The last part deals the effect of Viessmann, including basic energetic and economic calculation.
Increasing the energy efficiency of industrial heating plant
Spišák, Lukáš ; Lisý, Martin (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis consists of two parts. The introductory chapters are devoted to the basic description of cogeneration and trigeneration technologies, focusing on the description of cogeneration units and cooling devices. The second part of the thesis compares two specific ways of using cogeneration units and gas boilers in the CHEMOSVIT ENERGOCHEM a.s. in the town Svit. Subsequently, both variants are evaluated energetically and economically.
Micro-cellular impact absorbers
Rakušan, Jakub ; Ševeček, Oldřich (referee) ; Skalka, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on micro-cellular impact absorbers. The micro-cellular absorber converts the kinetic energy of the impacting object into the strain energy of the internal structure of the absorber. The thesis focuses on two types of absorbers, namely the absorber with internal auxetic structure and the absorber with internal non-auxetic structure. The same porosity has been kept for both internal structures for further comparison of the characteristics of both the absorbers. As part of this thesis, an impact test was simulated. In this test, objects (cylinders) of different diameters, the same length (identical to the absorber thickness), and different kinetic energy were impacted into the absorber. The finite element method (explicit solution) was used to solve this problem. The output of the study was a comparison of simulations of the impact test into auxetic and non-auxetic structures.
