Evaluation of laser scanning for 3D modelling
Oboňová, Veronika ; Kohout, Jan (referee) ; Volařík, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to create a 3D model of the given object using laser scanning technology. Subsequent adjustments of the model and its separate preparation for possible 3D printing will be done through appropriate programs. The next 3D model of the identical object will be made based on the created photos and will be edited and prepared in the same way for possible 3D printing.
3D Printing of a Functional Pistol Sample
Poláček, Tomáš ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The aim of bachelor thesis is the use of 3D printing technology to make a functional rubber pistol sample. Thesis is focused on knowledge of 3D modeling software, solution of construction assemblies, operation with 3D printers, knowledge of software products to generate data to 3D printers, final edits of made components and assembling of final unit.
High-intensity strobe light source
Rehák, Ondrej ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis discusses influence of high-intensity light strobes on human. Content of this thesis contain description of human sight and reaction of human sight to high-intense light strobes and consequently using this information to create device for temporal disable or disorientate of attacker. High-intensity light strobe source was designed to be light-weighted and compact. The case was designed and made on 3D printer, device is powered by lithium-polymer battery.
Universal Cloud-Based 3D Print Slicer
Vejčík, Jakub ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the proposal and implementation of a cloud tool for preparation 3D models for 3D printing. 3D printing become a part of our lives and it is getting into schools, where it combines the digital world with the physical world. Nowadays schools have not sufficient computational power to handle demanding 3D models for 3D printing. This ascertainment has led me to create a cloud tool, because cloud provides sufficient computational power and it can be shared beetween multiple users at the same time. The cloud tool solves the problem of insufficient power to translate 3D models to G-code, which understands 3D printer. Solution is done by letting the demanding computing logic on the cloud and user just edit model according to his ideas in the web interface of cloud tool.
Production Concept of USB Wall Socket Used for Charging Mobile Devices
Nemec, Matej ; Zouhar,, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on production of USB socket cover located in the wall, allowing to charge mobile devices without using an adapter. The theoretical part deals with the additive technology Rapid Prototyping and the parametric modeling software Autodesk Inventor, its terminology and functions. The practical part deals with the actual construction and production of individual parts of the cover. The thesis is concluded with technical and economic evaluation of components production.
Six-legged Walking Robot
Kotrík, Lukáš ; Burian, František (referee) ; Kopečný, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis focuses on design and construction of a walking six-legged robot. It consists of several parts which are exploring the process of design and construction of this robot. The thesis begins with the explanation of problematics of walking robots and then moves on to description of designing the robot. Further, the skeleton of robot is designed and the torque in each leg joint for every hypothetical servomotor is calculated. In next part, suitable servomotor is picked according to specific criteria and after that, the main board for robot and program microcontroller are created on same board with programme which we also created. In addition, an application named ConnectMe was created for wireless communication with robot. In the end, the entire construction process of robot is clarified.
Design of automatic multichannel pipetting head
Suchý, Adam ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The goal of the diploma thesis is to make a multi-channel pipetting end effector , which could be used with a collaborative robot YuMi IRB 14000 from ABB company. The main task is to ensure the precise dosing of the liquid medium by using the pneumatic piston approach. The next phase of the thesis requires the production of a functioning prototype with a control system for the proposed device with the help of a 3D printer , whose functionality needs to be tested along with the cooperative robot YuMi.
The Design and the Possible Practical Application of a Cooking Pot Handle 3D Model
Bezděk, Adam ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The target of this bachelor thesis is designing and producing of a 3D model cooking pot handle with use of the modern 3D printing technologies. The virtual model of the cooking pot handle was produced with parametric program Autodesk Inventor and then printed by the Dimension uPrint 3D printer, which uses the Fused Deposition Modeling additive technology. The silicone mold was produced by using the printed master model. Then the model was molded from the two component plastic material into the silicone mold. Conclusion of this work contains technical-economic evaluation, where are both methods of producing the model compared.
Intelligent Control Using Hand Gestures
Apjar, Martin ; Hyrš, Martin (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
This work deals with a creation of the device suitable for capturing the gestures of the human´s hand, selection of suitable sensors, creation of service software and communication proposal. The device working is based on Arduino board with microprocessor from the company Atmel ATmega32u4. In the first part of the thesis a detailed search of the existing ways of solving the given problem was performed. The following sections are devoted to the design of my solution, the description of the fabrication of the model body and the description of the used materials. Further, the Thesis contains a description of all sensors and scanners and a detailed description of the supplied PCB. At the end we will find the program section where the control and sensor work is disassembled. The result of this work is a hand-held model and firmware.
Experimental Verification of Optimal Shape of Beam
Uríček, Matúš ; Keršner, Zbyněk (referee) ; Frantík, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with design of beams of optimized shapes, which are than manufactured by 3D printer and their features are experimentally verified. When the limit strength of a given component is reached, ways of fracture development are observed. Information obtained from the experiments are then compared with assumptions generated by numerical methods.
