Optimalization of machining of steam turbine rotor blades
Chromý, Marek ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on optimalization of steam turbine rotor blades machining. Main goal is evaluate spending cost of the roughing mill cutting in-serts in relation to cutting speed.
On the modern technologies of hole production in metal materials
Laňka, Lubomír ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the modern technologies for the hole production in metal materials. In the first part the fundamental technologies are described including how to make the hole or to modify it. The second part deals with the modern cutting tools, and the other part includes some machines for hole production. Some non-conventional methods of hole machining are also mentioned. The last two parts deals with the experiments - the tool wear and other phenomena are evaluated when machining some selected materials. The work confirms that the titanium alloy is a material very difficult to drill up today.
Modern tools for boring operation
Stránský, Marek ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Prokop, Jaroslav (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create an overview of modern tools and machines for drilling process. The detailed analysis of the economic aspects of the drilling process was created at particular problem. The technology of drilling methods was modernized. We can achieve the accuracy comparable with finishing method of machining. Another advance of this method is high productivity of machining which is connected with the need of more powerful machines and tools. In addition, this thesis contains descriptions of machines from wide spectrum of producers.
Analysis of the operating costs of the machining process
Šikula, Josef ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Prokop, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the operating production cost in machining process and further optimalization. Individual costs items which are related to machining process are specified. Attention is paid to the time consumption of individual machining methods. The aim of the thesis is to find an optimal combination of cutting speed and durability in order to meet the minimum cost criteria and maximum productivity. The calculations are used for turning the outer cylindrical surface and the face surfaces at a constant cutting speed. The work is accompanied by tables and calculations in Microsoft Excel.
Testing of Chosen Milling Tool for Machining of Hardened Steels
Talaš, Jan ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis studies the testing of a milling tool and the determination of appropriate cutting conditions for machining. The first part of the thesis focuses on the theoretical introduction to milling, end mill wear, and coating. It also explains the term high-hardened steel. The next part is practially oriented and involves graphical and numerical evaluation of measured values. The last part deals with the machining economy.
Solution to the mechanism of a screw jack
Blecha, Jan ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The presented bachelor thesis deals with the mechanism of the screw jack in terms of basic design calculations as well as in terms of production technology. The following part deals with basic division of the workshop lifting equipment, the design of the lifting device and, last but not least, the design of the production technology. Further attention is paid to the technical and economic view of the manufacturing process of the screw jack mechanism and the possibility of improving both the production process and the construction itself.
Optimization of Machining Parameters Abradable Sprayed used in the Aerospace Industry
Krajkovič, Pavel ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis is focused on machining of thermal spray coatings. Particularly on testing of machining parameters and their influence on different types of abradable coatings used in the aerospace industry. The aim of research work is to test the parameters, measure cutting forces by using a dynamometer and their impact on the quality of the machined surface. Determination of the optimal machining parameters for different types of coatings based on results of measurements and the evaluation of surface quality. There are also presented techniques of thermal spray application and methods of coating evaluation. Further it describes a method of measuring cutting forces by using the dynamometer and methods of surface quality evaluation.
Verification of surface roughness and recommended cutting conditions after milling using tool with inserts
Novotný, Vojtěch ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
My bachelor’s thesis aims at practical testing inserts. The first part includes a theoretical analysis of problems connected with main tested parts. Especially, there is a description of face milling, surface structure after face milling and wear of the cutting tool. Next, an experiment is designed and performed, describing the machine used, the cutting tool, inserts, cutting conditions, material for testing and basic experiment criteria. In last part results of the test are presented and optimal value for cutting speed.
Construction design of woodworking machinery
Doležal, Martin ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing woodworking piece of machinery for thicknessing technology, surfacing planer, cutting and mortising, which are combined by changeable adapters. Thesis cointains a survey of selected woodworking machinery and technologies. It also provides an overview of safety rules for manipulation with woodworking machines and also safety features the machinery must comprise. The technical evaluation is included.
Rationalization of the workpiece technology part with the aim to reduce costs
Vojtěch, Jakub ; Strejček, Jan (referee) ; Chladil, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the improvement of the production technology during machining of the given component. The main goal is to design a different production technology, to reduce production time terms using more appropriate tools and to reduce the total costs of machining.
