Title: Axial system straining during martial arts and after care compensation of injuries Objective: The main goal of this diploma thesis is to bring complex view on injuries of axial system, which happend during martial arts. This thesis is going to define the ijuries and offer an alternative compensation of these injuries. Furthermore, the focus is on summarizing current knowledge about this issue Methods: The thesis is based on literary research and has an analytical-descriptive character. The studies used meet predetermined criteria. The work is divided into several parts. The first part, called the theoretical background, focuses on the description of combat, further analyzes the axial system of man and also the biomechanics of the components of the axial system. The next part discusses the load of the axial system in the fights. After that, the work deals with injuries in combat. Results: Based on the findings of individual studies, it can be said that the vast majority of all injuries incurred during judo and Brazilian jiu jitsu are orthopedic. Large joints were most affected by the injury. Injuries within the axial system occurred rather sporadically and were mostly head and cervical spine injuries. Influence of combat sports in football performance

Title: Influence of combat sports in football performance Objectives: The main objective is to find a connection between combatives and football and to present the possible benefits of including combat in the training of football players. To find the answer to the question why to include combat exercises in the training process. Find out whether fights can help players on the field during the match or even as injury prevention. Introduce famous athletes who have incorporated combatives and martial arts into the training process and helped them become leaders in their sport. Make six excercises, which can be put into training proces of footballers. Methods: The work uses a thorough review of literature and relevant online resources. The analysis of sources then allows synthesis of the findings, which is described in the theoretical part. The practical part uses the acquired theoretical basis for creating combat exercises suitable for football players. Results: Due to a thorough search of resources and study of the literature, six exercises were created, which can be included in the training process. Title: Combat sport modifications for pupils with autistic spectrum disorder in elementary school curriculum. Objective: The goal of this thesis is to summarize and analyze available information regarding combat sports, role of combat sports in physical education on elementary school and autistic spectrum disorder. Knowledge from these areas should then be used for compiling a set of exercises that would modify the schooling of combat sports for pupils with autistic spectrum disorder in elementary school. Methods: Analysis method and critical research were used to compile information needed to explain the given phenomena. In the final part of the thesis, compiled data were summarized via the synthesis method. Results: After thorough research of available literature, author proposes basic principles and recommendation for the education of combat sport for pupils with ASD. Then a set of exercises was created, which contains specific modifications for each given exercise. Preference and Popularity of Combative Activities among Primary School Pupils in Bohemia and Moravia

The thesis deals with the preferences and popularity of individual combative activities of pupils of the second level in selected primary schools in Bohemia and Moravia, the choice of which was determined in relation to the cities' population. It is based on a diploma thesis entitled Preference and Popularity of Combative Activities among Primary School Pupils in the Selected Region. The thesis brings basic information about the developmental specifics of the given age category. In the theoretical part, the reader learns about the knowledge of combative systems. The work also highlights the importance of regular sports in children' lives and in this respect, it points out combative activities as a key element in the development of an active lifestyle. The practical part focuses on an active sports involvement of children in individual combative activities and their interest in them not only in physical education lessons but also beyond them. Moreover, it compares the differences of these preferences among pupils of the second grade across the selected elementary schools in Bohemia and Moravia. Title: Mapping the occurrence of teaching martial arts in physical education at primary schools, secondary schools and grammar schools in Prague. Objective: The goal of the research is to find out how education in P.E. classes reflects the recommendation of framework education programme about education of martial arts, what percentage of clasśes do martial arts take in P.E. and to describe current trends of implementing martial arts to the curriculum or discover the reasons behind not implementing from the P.E. teacher's perspective. Methods: Analysis of literature of the given topic. We chose a survey as a research instrument. Based on previously published survey, which asked about the education of martial arts at a smaller selection of schools in Moravian region (Reguli, Ďurech, Vít, 2007), we created a purposeful survey. The survey was made on a platform service survio.com and distributed via e-mail to individual headmasters. They passed on the survey to P.E. teachers Results: Based on the evaluation of the survey, it was found that 75 of 84 teachers involve combat activities in P.E. classes. The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis is to define the basic terms such as combatives exercises, preparatory combatives exercises, sports combatives exercises, self-defense, combatives exercise gymnastics and falling techniques. The thesis explains the similarities and differences among these terms. The concept of combatives exercises and their system is characterized in detail, which is essential for combatives exercise teaching. The significance, suitability and possibility of implementing the combatives exercises into classes of physical training is also mentioned in this work. It also describes the current situation and points out the possible connection of combatives exercises with the mental conditions of students and their healthy senses of self-esteem. The methods used for processing the theoretical part are the study of specialized literary sources, their analyses, their comparison and subsequent synthesis. The main goal of the practical part is to map the experiences and opinions of physical education teachers at high school on combatives exercises for the reason that these exercises can affect the mental and physical development of students, their health, their lifestyles and even what the students may gain from these exer-cises in their lives. Another goal was to learn what physical education teachers draw from combatives exercises, and what they think about the problems and risks of teaching combatives exercises. A qualitative methodological approach and semi-structured interviews were the tools used for data collection.

Title: Use of combat exercises in the conditioning for the football players. Objective: The main goal of this bachelors thesis is to design a combat training microcycle to improve individual performances for footballers. Methods: Analysis of literature dealing with this subject. On the basis of the information obtained and the search for transfer between the different sports a training mikrocykle will be assembled. Results: From my experience and the studied domestic and foreign literature, a weekly combat microcycle consisting of three training units containing five exercises was created, which will be applied in the training of the football player for one month. From a technical point of view the exercises selected are basic combat moves like the drag and drop, drag-outs, overpressure and resistance exercises. Development of mixed martial arts in Czech Republic

Name: Development of mixed martial arts in Czech republic Objectives: The purpose of this thesis is to analyze wide public audience in the Czech Republic and its awarenessof martial arts and sports in general. The thesis will be mainly focused on martial art called MMA. Finding general information about the clubs involved in MMA in the Czech Republic , for example: How long they work, how many members they like. In theoretical part deals with the history and development of combative martial arts , both in the Czech Republic and abroad. The research , part two analyzes conducted polls. Methods Quantitative research, Method questionnaire survey. Results The survey showed that the general public people in the Czech Republic has a relatively high knowledge of martial arts and MMA . In the second survey questioned MMA clubs shows that most MMA clubs operating in the Czech Republic for more than 10 years , have more than 100 members , aged 21-45let . Kung Fu and its inclusion in Combatives Instruction in Physical Education

The goal of this thesis is to analyse kung fu from the pespective of teaching Combatives in Physicial Education courses, suggest model exercises with the help of the consultants named in the theoretical part and create model lessons that teachers may use in their Physical Education courses. The teoretical part focuses on history, taxonomy and teaching of Combatives in Physical Education courses. In addition, in describes history, characteristics and taxonomy of kung fu. The experimental part suggest model exercises with pictures and characteristics of model lessons. It also analyses questionnaires collected from students and teachers and summarises the results in tables. Questiaonnaires investigation attended 257 stunednts from second grade of elementary shool in centralbohemie region and 6 their teachers of Physical Education courses. Model classes and questionnaires for students ann teachers are included in attchments. From research part ensues these facts: In Physical Education courses meets with downfall technique 28% of requested students,with martial arts teaching 42,4% and with self-defence teaching 55.6% respondents. 72% requested students has interest to add kung fu to Physical Education courses. Combat Sports in the Physical Education at Middle Schools of Selected Region

The aim of the thesis is to analyze a current situation concerning combat sports education on the middle schools in Jinřichohradecký region. Theoretical part includes a brief description of the development of combat sports in the world as well as in the Czech Republic, characteristics and taxonomy of techniques, the importance of techniques and problems connected with education. In addition there is a list of combat exercises focused on pushing, pulling, wrestling and combat games. The research was based on the survey by (Reguli, Ďurech, Vít, 2007). There is a statistical data based on survey filled by pedagogues and students. The results indicated a significant popularity of combat exercises among schoolchildren however teachers often omit them.
