The subject of this study is a proposal to streamline the production process of gear with internal gear. At the beginning of the thesis are described some types of gearing. The second chapter is focused on the analysis of manufactured part and workplaces for production. The third chapter contains description of technological methods of gearing production by conventional and unconventional methods. The main point of this work is a proposal of innovation of the production process of gearing production. In conclusion, technical-economic evaluation including a comparison of existing and newly designed solutions.

Catalytic behaviour of ceramic catalytic materials

In this bachelor’s thesis the methods of preparation of ceramic perovskite-like membranes for heterogenous catalysis and reformation reactions of carbohydrates were studied. The syntetic La-Ca-Fe-Ti-O type and commercial La-Ca-Fe-Co-O type powders were used. The properties such as phase purity, specific surface area and morphology of used powders were determined. Technology of processing included powder uniaxial pressing, membrane sintering and polishing their surface. Conditions for uniaxial pressing were optimized. The dependence of grain size and amount of titanium was determined.

Advanced features of traffic shaping for 802.3 and 802.11 networks under OS Linux

This bachelor work deals with possibilities of traffic shaping and control in OS Linux. First part of the work examines indiviual tools needed for working with data stream. The second part consideres methods intended for traffic shaping. From these methods intended for use in standarts 802.3 and 802.11 were selected and described. The second part of paper focused on Hierarchical Token Bucket and Class-based queueing method. The third part is the practical application of methods on the hardware, the measurement of the individual standards and processing into charts.

Quality of Services in WAN

This bachelor thesis is inquire into direct traffic in computer network based on TCP/IP protocol. In the finish we can direct packets, that network traffic will behave by our rules. We will use only free software for this solution – this solution is based on FreeBSD system, PF packet firewall and queue framework ALTQ. Part of this thesis make examples queuing include fullversion scripts that are in elektronic appendix. The thesis was developed in research project MSM 0021630529 Intelligent Systems in Automation.

The technology of ceramic filters as a problem of their shaping

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate possible production of ceramic filters made by dry pressing and to choose suitable granulate and its optimal moisture proper for this way of production. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the meaning of the usage of ceramic filters in a foundry industry. Further more, the technology of ceramic mixtures production and the technology of ceramic filters production made by wet pressing and dry pressing is drawn near in this thesis. The practical part describes the production process and the testing of experimental samples. The influence of different kinds of ceramic mixtures, their moisture and different modes of burning is compared to physical-mechanical features of ceramic potsherd. The output is to design a material with a set of typical features which would by suitable for dry pressing production.

Fibre optic tapering and shaping methods for special applications

The thesis deals with the tapering of optical fibres and the shaping of their ends. The thesis describes the fibre tapering and shaping methods and compares them in terms of advantages and disadvantages. It mainly focuses on methods using electric arc, flame and chemical etching. The practical part of the work describes the methodology of fibre tapering for 125 m, 400 m and 1000 m fibre diameters and the methodology of fibre end shaping for 400 m and 1000 m fibre diameters.

Data flow Control in Autonomous Systems

The paper deals with the management of packet traffic over IP networks at the level of the autonomous system. A new real time mechanism for active network traffic control depending on the state of the network load is described. The new mechanism allows us to differentiate network traffic depending on the user and manage it according to the defined parameters.
