Peer Analysis in the Cryptocurrency Networks
Jeřábek, Vladimír ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a tool that will collect relevant information about active nodes in  a Bitcoin peer-to-peer network. We are able to collect important data for more detailed analysis by monitoring the behavior of individual nodes on the network . The proposed solution uses unmodified Bitcoin Core client, which connects to all reachable nodes on the network. The platform has modular design, which offers good scaling as well. Created BiNMo tool (Bitcoin Network Monitor) also employs simple visualization of gathered data. The correct functionality of the monitoring platform was verified in the real operation, where it was monitoring Bitcoin network for more than two months. During that time, BiNMon parsed over 12 TiB of network data and stored over 270 GiB of  metadata about active nodes. The entire platform can be deployed within a few minutes, thanks to Docker containerization.
Discrete modeling of transaction propagation in Bitcoin
Sharing Part of the Screen
Bieliňski, Tomasz ; Sopuch, Zbyněk (referee) ; Zachariáš, Michal (advisor)
This paper deals with the analysis of the existing solutions, conceptual design and implementation of the application that will be able to transfer image to another computer screen at any time. It is divided into two parts: server and client. It uses a method of UDP hole punching.
Detection of Dynamic Network Applications
Oroš, Petr ; Kaštil, Jan (referee) ; Tobola, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with the detection of dynamic network applications. It describes a general method for detection of any application layer protocol and automatically searches for the detection rules. The practical part deals with general detection protocol to the automatically generated designs. A special section is devoted detect bittorrent protocol.
BitTorrent Traffic Detection
Florek, Daniel ; Hranický, Radek (referee) ; Polčák, Libor (advisor)
This thesis deals with a topic of BitTorrent protocol detection within a pcap file. I managed to design and implement a tool based on deep packet inspection which can detect IP adresses and their ports that were involved in a BitTorrent communication. This detection is extendable with flow analysis which may lead into more results but at the same time in a higher chance of false positives. Therefore this kind of detection is just optional.
Torrent Peer Monitoring
Bezděk, David ; Pluskal, Jan (referee) ; Polčák, Libor (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with analysis and implementation of methods for BitTorrent monitoring focusing on the Mainline DHT protocol. The aim of the thesis was to create a system, that will be looking for BitTorrent peers that participe in the illegal file distribution. Another task of the system was to collect and analyze data for counting size of the BitTorrent network. That was achieved by taking over of existing method. The system was designed and implemented as a module for monitoring of cybernetic crime. It also defines an interface for storing and sharing data, that provides data evaluation, easy data manipulation and serves for possible future extensions.
Synchronization and Backup of Data under Android OS
Vytvořený nástroj je schopen synchronizovat uživatelské soubory v peer-to-peer sítích nad IPv4 i IPv6, přičemž spolupracuje s analogickými nástroji v operačních systémech Linux a Windows. Nástroj využívá sledování verzí založené na Gitu a zabezpečení komunikace pomocí TLS.
Visual Home Security System for iOS-Based Mobile Devices
Bajaník, Filip ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to design and implement a mobile application for home security system on the iOS platform. The application introduces a complex solution allowing the transmission of the audio and video streams between the paired mobile devices using WebRTC. The final module represents universal solution for peer-to-peer audio and video communication. The thesis also deals with the field of computer vision, namely efficient motion detection algorithms. The module for motion detection implements ViBe algorithm using Metal. In case that the motion is detected the application notifies a user with a push notification. Synchronization of application data is implemented using Cloudkit and the data persistance using Realm library.
Analysis of the use of advanced tools in the future form of the electricity market segment
Štefek, Martin ; Vajnar,, Vladimír (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
The diploma thesis introduces distributed generation in context of future state of electricity markets. The subject of the thesis is to introduce new trends in electricity markets, such as flexibility, prosumers, aggregator and energy communities. Moreover, the thesis describes blockchain technology and its utilization in future state of electricity markets.
Smart Digital Mirror for Individual Sports
Opichal, Tomáš ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a practical solution for individual athletes in the form of a digital mirror, which can become an alternative to observing yourself in an ordinary mirror. The work contains and emphasizes the benefits of a digital mirror. Much of the work is devoted to the transfer of video between various devices for the ability to combine multiple videos on a single screen. The core of the solution is a mobile application for the Android platform, which works in various modes, the choice of which depends on how the application is used. The application was continuously tested with a group of users, resulting in iterative improvements to the application's features and the addition of new features. Furthermore, a web variant of the application was implemented, which increases the possibility of using the digital mirror across different platforms. The results of testing show that this whole solution can be used in the practical training of sports exercises and the application has the potential to connect with various sports.
