Kolářová, Petra ; Konečný, Lubomír (advisor) ; Coëllier, Sylvie (referee) ; de Marinis, Marco (referee)
Petra Kolářová Étienne Decroux (1898 1991) : "The Portrait of a Mime as a Sculptor" The Portrayal of a Body at the Intersection of Scenic and Fine Arts Summary : The thesis main subject is Etienne Decroux, the father of corporeal mime. The main objective is to show that Decroux draws on both theatre and sculpture, thus conceiving his art of mime as the mobile statuary. On the one hand, he takes up the concept of mask put forward by Jacques Copeau and Edward Gordon Craig's uber marionnette, transposing both concepts directly to the body. On the other hand, he embodies the pathos formulas observed in the statues. Decroux was heavily inspired by Augustus Rodin's sculptures in order to represent the body on stage. Moreover, Decroux conceives the body as a series of images which unfold before the audience. Working along with Etienne Bertrand Weill who photographs his shows, he creates a relevant source of iconography of the ...
Software for Microscope Image Processing and Analysis
Pavlišta, Libor ; Odstrčilík, Jan (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
This project informs about the basic image processing on grayscale and binary images. The project deals with analyzing the data obtained. Acquaints with terms such as morphology and image segmentation. Acquired knowledge is applied to create a program to complete the processing of microscopic images in LabView programming environment with subsequent analysis and plotting of results into image. For a better idea supporting data about operation in progress are continuous images.

Automatic smoothing 3D models of cranial embryonic mouse cartilage
Kočendová, Kateřina ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Jakubíček, Roman (advisor)
The focus of this thesis is the smoothing of manually segmented 3D models of mouse embryo craniofacial cartilege. During the process of manual segmentation, artefacts and other imperfections appear in the final models and need to be repaired. Firstly, manual segmentation is corrected using gradients and thresholding. Subsequent smoothing methods are constructed based on theoretical research. Algorithmizing is executed in the MATLAB environment. All the designed algorithms are then tested on selected models. Statistical evaluation is determined using the Srensen–Dice coefficient, where manually smoothened models cleared of all artefacts are used as the gold standard.
love rhymes with fuck you
Bražina, Jan ; Pěchouček, Michal (referee) ; Mazanec, Martin (advisor)
In my work I materialize personal experiences, memories and ideas about future life. In relation to these, I also address the heteronormativity of relationships dictated by society to young people. In my work I deal with these themes through intuitive work with textiles, where I try to express through this material my feelings, in which I tend to a domestic and peaceful background. Over the past year I have begun a project that originally titled Hydroponic Love, in which I dealt with my own failures in relationships and building a bond with inanimate objects in order to satisfy my desire for love. Through this stage I gradually developed my theme and elaborated on the idea of love that ...that can develop into a dangerous obsession. The project eventually expanded into four parts, in in which I developed several sub-themes that no longer focused on my personal desires and failures, but also the broader social context related to them.

Goal of proposed dissertation is based on theoretical-historical interpretations to trace mentions of camp (mainly in literature) with focus on Czech background, where its rich interpretational potential can clarify most of social-cultural tendencies.
