Playstation 1 Emulator with Higher Rendering Resolution
Stupka, Filip ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis investigates the augmentation of visual fidelity in PlayStation 1 emulation by implementing advanced rendering techniques for higher resolution output. The study begins with a thorough analysis of the original hardware architecture, identifying components impacting graphical output. Focusing on developing a custom emulator, the research addresses challenges associated with upscaling graphics while maintaining compatibility with existing game software. The findings provide valuable insights for retro gaming enthusiasts and researchers, showcasing the successful implementation of a PlayStation 1 emulator with higher rendering resolution to preserve the legacy of classic games.
GameBoy Advance Emulator for Mobile Platforms
Vilímek, Hynek ; Růžička, Richard (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The GameBoy Advance console was released by Nintendo in 2001 and it has experienced phenomenal success during its existence. It used to control the majority of the market at one time and partly due to this it has become synonymous with portable gaming consoles. This popularity was gained especially thanks to the games developed for it. They have become so popular that even today there is a demand for them. These games, however, are not played on the original consoles but on today's mobile devices. And since current mobile devices are technologically very different from the console, it is necessary to run these games via an emulator.
HF RFID tag emulator
Neužil, Ondřej ; Derbek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Vychodil, Josef (advisor)
This thesis contains the basic information about the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. It describes its main principles and usage. The main goal of this thesis is to design a RFID tag emulator for HF band according standard ISO 15693 that should emulate the long-range contactless smart card. The design includes the selection of the suitable components, such as a microprocessor - the core of the whole emulator, or calculation of the efficient integrated coil dimensions on a printed circuit and software for communication between the RFID reader card and the emulator.
Computer simulator for education
Friml, Dominik ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is divided into several parts. The first part consists of an introduction to individual parts of a processor and some of its peripheries. Next part of thesis is a research of existing educational and demonstrative tools usable in education. Results of the research were compiled into requirements for educational system. Using those requirements, and design of an architecture for educational processor for education, not only on FEEC BUT was created. As a next step, there is described a procedure, that led to a creation of a working simulator of the designed processor. Last part of this thesis is a design of several educational exercises, that demonstrates principles of computers and programming in a machine code and an assembly language.
A CPU Emulator for Assembler Course
Charvát, Lukáš ; Nagy, Jan (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
The bachlors's thesis discusses the design of a CPU architecture emulator aimed to assembly languages course. While most of nowadays emulators are architecture specific, this document describes an approach to create an emulator allowing users to easily set up their own architecture, to perform operations upon it, and to display its current state.
RFID Security
Hanačík, Radim ; Morský, Ondřej (referee) ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis describes the theory of radio frequency identification and is focused on the security of communication. Smart cards are divided by type of chip and operating frequencies. The thesis is focused on contactless cards based on the Mifare Classic and on a description and construction of the emulator, which is able to demonstrate the production defects. We can make a copy of the card using the emulator. Laboratory task was designed and implemented demonstrating the communication between cards.
Communication protocols emulator
Fabulec, Martin ; Dejdar, Petr (referee) ; Jablončík, Lukáš (advisor)
The content of this work is the analysis of commonly used serial protocols RS-232 and RS-485 and their transmission using the optical fiber. The work deals with the analysis of the actual problematic and the connection design of the optical fiber system, communication through optical fiber and communication interface. The design of the communication protocol emulator and the verification of the functionality of the transmission system are also discussed. The theoretical part deals with optical components such as optical receiver and transmitter, SFP module and the description of the RS-232 and RS-485 interface. The practical part mentions the connection proposal and subsequent data transfer.
Emulator for Intelligent Home End Stations
Brychtová, Hana ; Viktorin, Jan (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
This thesis covers design and implementation of an application with a graphic user interface emulating the behaviour of end stations for intelligent home. These devices are used for measuring physical quantities and controlling switches. The application is implemented in C++ using Qt Framework. The final product is an application which provides a simple way of testing in a friendly user interface. The main benefit is in enabling a parallel developement of the server application and the developement of the hardware end station devices.
