Design of autonomous sightseeing vehicle
Javorský, Samuel ; Surman, Martin (referee) ; John, David (advisor)
This Master thesis deals with the design proposal of an electric autonomous vehicle for six people to provide sightseeing tours in tourist areas. The resulting design is based on an extensive design and technical analysis, on safety and ergonomic requirements. The main goals of the work include an open bodywork for maximum visibility and contact with the outside environment while driving, shape directionality, partial protection from adverse weather and storage spaces for small luggage. An autonomous electric vehicle is a solution for a sustainable and efficient way of traveling.
Design of Communal Car
Dvořák, Michal ; Jelenčík, Branislav (referee) ; John, David (advisor)
The market for municipal carriers is showing potential with the advent of new technologies, especially in the way of propulsion. These changes may affect the design and concept of the carrier itself. The topic of this diploma thesis is the design of a communal carrier for implements. The aim of the text is to guide the reader through the course and result of the work. the work is the design of a utility carrier for the terrain, using an electric drive. The work deals with technical, ergonomic, shape, color and material solutions. The cabin of the carrier is designed in such a way that it allows a wide view when working, and the appearance of the carrier is, thanks to the minimalistic approach to design, a unique and distinctive character of electromobility.
Design of a double column hydraulic jack
Hladík, Radim ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The master's thesis includes the design of a double-column lift as well as an introduction to electric vehicle servicing. Additionally, market research is conducted based on defined problem requirements. Four design variants are proposed, and the most suitable one is selected using multicriteria analysis. Risk analysis and dimensioning calculations are prepared according to relevant directives and standards. The selected variant is then processed into a 3D model using Solidworks 2018 software. The 3 D models are converted into drawing documentation. In conclusion, there are recommendations for practical implementation and evaluation of the work results.
Fire of batteries in electric vehicles
Blažek, Štěpán James ; Sitek, Tomáš (referee) ; Preisler, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the causes and formation of fires in electric vehicle batteries. The first part summarizes the theory related to types of batteries, used materials, and reviews the phenomenon known as Thermal runaway. The second part of the thesis describes the burning of electric vehicles, providing basic categorization of fire occurrence in electric vehicles and the phenomena accompanying them. The statistical comparison of the current and future development of the number of fires in electrically powered vehicles in the Czech Republic compared to conventional combustion engines, data analysis, and recommendations are summarized in the final part of the bachelor thesis. From the given statistics, it is evident that an electric vehicle is less likely to catch fire, however, it is acompanied by the release of hazardous gases, creating a significant challange in terms of fire extinguishing.
Micromobility and their charging
Papež, Michal ; Bárta, Jan (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis deals with electric micromobility and developing of the charging infrastructure for electric micromobiles. It also deals with electromobility and charging of electric cars. In the thesis are presented types of electric micromobiles and their battery capacity. The possibilities of using micromobiles are presented, including the concept of shared micromobility and legislative news related to micromobility. In the thesis are presented development possibilities and important aspects for the development of charging infrastructure for micromobiles. In the city of Brno were selected locations which are relevant for building new charging points. Part of the thesis is devoted to the charging of electric cars for comparison with the micromobility, the part submits the state of the charging infrastructure for electric cars and presents list of problems caused by charging of electric cars.

Mapping electromobility in the aspect of the circular economy
KOHOUTOVÁ, Nikola
This diploma thesis focuses on the mapping of electromobility and its potential in the context of the circular economy in the South Bohemian Region. Electromobility is a very researched topic and in connection with the circular economy brings new possibilities for more sustainable transport. The work focuses on transportation and analyzes traffic and the current state of goods transportation on roads and railways. This is the mapping of light trucks up to 3.5 t, which, when replaced by electric cars, are offered as a perspective solution for achieving the emission reduction goals mentioned in the European Green Deal. The work is based on the analysis of data from the transport yearbooks of the Ministry of Transport of Czech Republic and data from The Road and Motorway Directorate and the Transport Research Centre. The methodology includes the monitoring of parameters of transport performance, traffic intensity and transport of goods, subsequently analyzed using calculations of year-on-year changes. Based on these data, the future values of the parameters of traffic intensity, transportation of goods and transportation performance were calculated with the help of Holt's model, as well as estimates of the future need for electricity. Three variants of replacing a part of conventional trucks with electric ones were proposed, with the aim of reducing CO2 emissions, and in all of them the reduction was achieved thanks to electric cars. All predictions are based on real time series data from 2000 to 2022 and show the potential of electromobility in achieving the goals of the circular economy in transport. The results contribute to the discussion about the implementation of electromobility and its benefit or, conversely, disadvantage for the sustainability of transport.
Marketing Communication Support of Electric Vehicle Sales in the Czech Republic
Stejskalová, Kristina ; Chalupský, Vladimír (referee) ; Chlebovský, Vít (advisor)
In this thesis is written a brief history of electric cars up to the present. Hybrid vehicles are described and particular attention is given to the description of electric vehicles. A method for accumulating electrical energy by electrochemical accumulators is provided. Finally, there are operation costs of electric cars.
Proposal of measures in the low voltage network for the implementation of renewable sources and electromobility according to scenarios NAP SG
Vojtěch, Jan ; Kučera, Michal (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
The thesis analyzes legislative and strategic documents of the European Union and the Czech Republic which set targets in environment and energy area in 2030, alternatively in 2040. The individual chapter is dedicated to national action plans, where the most important is National Action Plan for Smart Grids setting specific requirements for future development of smart grids. The thesis contains analysis of distribution network in the municipality of Následovice and simplifying assumptions for the implementation of calculation. There are also introduced scenarios which have been used for the calculation of the distribution network with its results. Potential defects of the distribution network are commented with suggested solutions. The calculations were repeated to verify the solutions. Results are recapitulated in an individual chapter. Graphical outputs of the calculations can be found in the attachement.
The electric car as part of a smart home
Peichl, Ondřej ; Ušiak, Michal (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This thesis provides an overview of technologies that can be a part of an electric car. These technologies include Vehicle to Grid, Vehicle to Building, Vehicle to Home, etc. The principle, properties, possibilities of development and integration in the Czech Republic and in the world will be described for these technologies. The second part of the thesis will deal with the connection of an electric car to a smart home and its cooperation with other components of the smart home, such as home photovoltaic power plant, control system or wallbox. At the end of the thesis is designed a specific smart house, which was calculated the consumption of electricity for the household, for the electric car and also how much of this consumption can cover the home photovoltaic power plant.
