5 Requirements for compliance with ethical standards in the context of B2B contracts of sale Abstract With increasing requirements for non-financial reporting, as adherence to ethical standards becomes a focal point of interest for entrepreneurs, the legal framework offers an effective mechanism for ensuring compliance - a contract. First, the thesis explores the terminology associated with ethical standards, which is both extensive and fragmented. The diverse terminology can contribute to misunderstandings and complicates the exploration of how ethical standards can be incorporated into contractual relationships. The emphasis within the thesis is placed on identifying, defining and unifying key terms, which is essential in order to ensure clear comprehension of the topic and facilitating dialogue between experts across disciplines. Greenwashing as Unfair Competition Practice Abstract: The thesis focuses on one of the major obstacles in the fight against climate change, greenwashing. Given the difficulty in defining and the diversity of this phenomenon, this thesis aims to introduce greenwashing and examine it through the lens of unfair competition law. In particular, it examines whether greenwashing can be an unfair competition act, i.e. whether it fulfils the general unfair competition clause, whether it can possibly also fulfil one of the special unfair competition acts and whether the current unfair competition legislation is sufficient or whether it would be appropriate to create a new special unfair competition act regulating greenwashing. The first chapter of the thesis focuses on competition, defines competition law and discusses the basic concepts related to competition. All of this is important in order to subsequently highlight how competition is changing in the context of environmental protection efforts and related activities and what threats it faces. Low energy cements based on clinker phases

This thesis deals with low-energy cements and the effect of dopants on their hydration, specifically copper and sulfur. The theoretical part summarizes the general information about clinker minerals, their low-energy/low-carbon alternatives and sustainability in the cement industry. Additionally, possible synthesis of clinker minerals are described. In the experimental part, methods for the preparation of doped tricalcium aluminate and the analysis of the synthesized products are presented. The sulfur doped tricalcium aluminate had the highest hydration heat. On the other hand, copper doped tricalcium aluminate and tricalcium aluminate in combination of these dopants exhibited lower hydration heat. The presence of the dopants also affected the composition of the hydration products.

Center for seniors in Brno-Medlánky

The task of the diploma thesis is to design a senior living facility in Brno – Medlánky. This task was preceded by a pre-diploma project within the subject NGA056 – Specialized project, developed in the previous semester, which consisted of preparing an urban study with a proposal for urban structure including transportation solutions and the placement of various functions - residential areas, commercial areas, public buildings, civic amenities, a sports hall, a church, and further development of the senior living facility. The architectural study focuses on creating a suitable environment for long-term stay for seniors, meaning comfortable living, outdoor relaxation areas, adequate technical infrastructure, and a variety of services. The design stems from the concept of a compact, clear, and barrier-free base space with social areas and facilities connecting three pavilions of housing units. This ensures privacy in the housing units while providing ample space for social interaction. Access to the terrain linked with a park located on the southern side of the plot is easy from both the base floor and the housing units, providing direct contact with greenery in outdoor spaces. The main entrance leading to the base on the first floor is designed with a representative atrium, reflecting the grandeur of the entire complex. Technical and operational facilities are expanded to cover the capacity of a potential additional fourth pavilion. The entire complex reflects the requirement for peaceful and high-standard living in old age, respecting contemporary architecture and the needs of today's population. As a result, it becomes a place for contented aging.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the panel housing estates in the Czech Republic as a symbol of mass housing, analyzes their impact on the city, and explores the possibilities and challenges associated with their long-term sustainability in today's context. The analytical part examines the historical development of panel housing estates as a whole, the principles, and models of sustainability. In the design part, these elements are interconnected and utilized in a proposal for the revitalization of a specific panel housing estate.

Community housing in Brno-Komín

The subject of the diploma thesis was the design of a multifunctional building within the framework of community housing, located in the area of former gardens along Řezáčova Street in the urban district of Brno-Komín, at the intersection between the existing urban structure of the original panel housing estate and open countryside. The enclosed area currently forms a barrier between the cycling and walking route under Palacký Hill and the existing development. This presents an opportunity to open up and make this area more accessible to people. Overall, there are five residential buildings proposed in the area, each consisting of five above-ground floors, with the top floor being setback with vegetated roofs and terraces. The semi-open composition of the buildings responds to the existing urban structure and the panel housing development. It creates a space accessible not only to community residents but also to the public. The design of the multifunctional building is based on key principles such as Baugruppe construction, sustainability, prefabrication, and the associated speed of construction and variability of proposed interior spaces. It also emphasizes creating a place that fosters interaction among community residents. Furthermore, the aim is to work with wood as a significant element for reducing CO2 emissions and to influence the architect's and builder's attitude towards this material in terms of fire and environmental considerations. For these reasons, the building is designed as a hybrid timber and concrete structure. This system allows for fast, flexible, and cost-effective construction and an efficient combination of the properties of individual materials. The communication system of the building is designed as a gallery, offering additional meeting opportunities for residents for the purpose of community living. Operationally, the building is designed as a multifunctional structure with a predominant residential function. Common areas in the ground floor of the building are available for community residents in the form of co-working spaces, a café, and community workshops. The last setback fifth floor is also dedicated to the building's users, featuring wellness areas and an apartment for accommodating potential visitors of the residents. Users also have access to other shared spaces such as a bicycle room, stroller storage, and laundry room.

Center for seniors in Brno-Medlánky

The architectural study of the senior center in Brno-Medlánky builds upon the territorial study carried out in the previous semester as part of the subject NGA056 - Specialized Studio (ArA). The result of the territorial study was a proposal for a compact development that combines all the needs of the area, from housing, through public amenities, a church, transportation connections with a tram loop, sports hall, park, to a senior center. Within the architectural study, a project was developed to create a comprehensive senior center that meets current standards. The center offers a wide range of services and facilities, quality common areas, as well as privacy in individual rooms and corresponding adjacent outdoor spaces. The design of the center is based on compactness and linearity. The center consists of two main volumes, with the larger one oriented parallel to the adjacent road. The second volume is perpendicular to it and they are connected by a communication block. In the front part facing the main road, a smaller entrance courtyard is created oriented to the west, while on the eastern side there is a larger space with a park. This area is bordered by the center's buildings on two sides, as well as adjacent residential buildings and greenery separating it from existing development, offering a peaceful space for seniors. Both volumes are located above an underground parking lot, which also extends under the entrance area. The individual buildings are then divided according to the services provided and the type of care. The ground floor offers a variety of services, a café, and the main entrance to the building, creating an active meeting place for clients and the public. The center aims to create dignified contemporary spaces for clients' stay and their integration into the surroundings, providing them with a pleasant atmosphere and a sense of belonging to their new home.

Risk and Sustainability Assessment in the Textile Industry

This thesis examines the impact and risks of ecolabelling on consumer preferences through a combination of questionnaire survey and eye tracking. The questionnaire survey provided quantitative data on consumers' attitudes and behaviours in shopping process, while eyetracking captured precise visual browsing behaviour of participants on selected products. Analysis of the combined data from both methods provides a deeper understanding of how consumers interpret ecolabelling and how it influences their purchasing decisions. The thesis concludes with suggestions for implementing the new technology as well as suggestions for educational materials to improve the current situation.

Center for seniors in Brno-Medlánky

The assignment of the diploma project was to design a center for seniors in Brno - Medlánky. The project of the center for seniors follows on from the pre-diploma project, the aim of which was to design an urban structure on an unused plot of land between the technology park and Medlánky. The territory is defined by area development on the south, west and east sides. Part of the territorial study was also a proposal to extend tram line No. 12 towards the area under consideration. The location of the center for seniors follows from the developed territorial study, which is attached to this diploma project. The main motive for the creation of the center for seniors was to arrange the objects in such a way that they create a "safe embrace" that will provide the residents with a sense of security. The main building is thus L-shaped with rooms facing the quiet courtyard towards the amphitheater. In the event of a social event, guests can watch the program from their balconies or windows. The remaining rooms face the street. The ground floor of the building is partially embedded in the terrain and thanks to this it naturally connects to the amphitheater. I try to create pleasant, well-lit spaces in the house, so that there is always a good atmosphere and the guests can accept this place as their new home. The capacity of the center for seniors results from the elaborated analyzes attached in this project. The home for the elderly was supposed to include all the necessary operations, such as a central dining room, library, gymnasium, space for doctors, management offices, staff changing rooms, a central laundry room and other necessary technological facilities.
