Easter eggs scanning module
Pitrun, Tomáš ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the design and implementation of a preparation for scanning the museum's collection of Easter eggs. A monochrome line scan camera combined with RGB lighting and stepper motor is used to capture the Easter eggs. The control of the whole fixture is solved by using an Arduino Mega microcontroller in combination with the developed PCB. The data from the camera are processed in software on a PC using Matlab. Finally, a 3D model of the easter egg with the scanned texture is created using the Processing library.
Development of electronic circuitry for remote controlled bathyscaphe
Trýska, Tomáš ; Musil, Vladislav (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the development of electronic circuitry for remote controlled bathyscaphe and allow it to move, measure the working values and transmit the video stream from IP camera to the computer. Camera itself can be also remotely tilted by a small servo motor. The bathyscaphe is controlled through a simple computer program.
PowerLine Communication for LED unit control
Šebesta, Ondřej ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and testing of a system for powerline communication, enabling control of LED lights. The work first describes the basic principles of powerline communication, specifies the communication bands and summarizes the basic functional requirements for communication within the system for LED lighting control. It also describes the method of selecting a modem for powerline communication, the design of a test module with this modem and also the method of testing real communication between two test modules, including test results. The most comprehensive part of the work describes the design of hardware and software of the universal PLC module and how to use it. In addition, it referes to the development tools used as an example of implementation in LED lighting. At the end of the work are summarized the results of testing the proposed system.
Electronic skylight
Coufal, Martin ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
Theoretical part of this thesis describes LEDs and other circuitry used for LED light design. LED light is designed, manufactured and put into operation. This thesis examines possibilities of measuring exterior light and its key parameters. The device uses two sets of LEDs – warm white and cold white to create light with parameters dependent on exterior light. LEDs are driven by constant current sources that are designed, manufactured and examined in this thesis. The device is microprocessor-controlled, which allows to switch between multiple modes of operation. Flyback SMPS is used to power the microcontroller.
Wireless Control of LED Lights
Martinka, Václav ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This work deals with the design and implementation of Wi-Fi LED lighting. It consists of various modules - switches, buttons, single or multicolored light sources - and a central unit that provides mutual communication and automation. The result of the work is the design of a prototype and several modules, which are built on the basis of the microcontroller ESP32. Their utility is implemented in C++. The user interacts through the website. The main result of this thesis is a demonstration of the possibility of using Wi-Fi to control light sources and creating complex lighting using a combination of simple modules and rules.
Lighting with Tunable Spectral Distribution and Its Influence on Human Physiological Functions
Hanák, Petr ; Bendová,, Zdeňka (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
In this diplomat theses are considered the effects of light on human beings, especially on physical performance. The goal of this work was to design a suitable method for evaluation of the effects of light on physical performance. Furthermore, to verify designed methods in laboratory environment and the assessment of collected data. After creating this method several people were tested under different light conditions and collected date evaluated. The results are suggesting that high intensity lighting with low wave lengths leads to an increase of physiological activity in organism and therefore to a potential decreasing physical performance.
Light Soure with Wireless Control
Martinka, Václav ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and implement a lighting which can be controlled wirelessy by any user device with Wi-Fi. The bachelor thesis describes the selection of components and their connection. Also describes a library for a Wi-Fi module, a way how to communicate over the network and design a user interface. The result of this thesis is a functional prototype placed on the printed circuit board.
Intelligent lighting system for home automation
Raninec, Michal ; Žák, Jaromír (referee) ; Macháň, Ladislav (advisor)
This paper discuss the design and realisation of intelligent lighting system for home automation. Identifying the most adequate solution of system implementation is followed by choosing suitable components, design of electrical circuits and printed circuit boards. The project then deals with development of software for each particular device in the system and development of computer application for managing the system. The paper also treats with mechanical design and construction of devices in the system.
Assessment of options to reduce energy consumption in industrial areal
Křesťan, Jan ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is assessment of options to reduce energy consumption in industrial areal belonging to Fritzmeier company. This thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part there is analysis of electrical energy and natural gas consumption in considered industrial area based on data from energy audit. The second part consists of short theoretical elaboration of cogeneration and cogeneration technologies, design of five variants of use of cogeneration units with combustion engine running on natural gas and evaluation of proposed variants. Third part of this thesis is about modernization of lighting system in small section of assembly hall. In this part parameters of new LED lighting system for selection are set, based on theoretical elaboration of LED problematics and five variants offered by specialized companies are evaluated.
LED light with adjustable spectral radiation for breeding and growing
Satora, Ondřej ; Hrach, Petr (referee) ; Klozar, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of my master’s thesis is the design of the LED lighting system for breeding and growing purposes as replacement for the classical high-pressure sodium lamps and other sources of light used today. The whole system can be controlled locally by buttons or remotely by web server using Ethernet interface. LEDs are powered by five-channel step-down converter with current feedback. Converters are controlled by pulse width modulation generated by microcontroller.
